ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a self-motivated, personable, and enthusiastic individual to work as part of a team to support and grow our Branches and our lifesaving clubs as well as developing and grow recognition of and participation in Lifesaving Sport.
Pivotal to the role will be the collaboration with external agencies and branches and clubs in Wales and Ireland, to strengthen and publicise our water safety education throughout the region together with supporting the needs of clubs in the region.
KEY TASKS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To build and maintain productive relationships with organisations involved in the field of water safety, particularly with Water Safety Wales, Water Safety Ireland and associated partners including attendance at relevant meetings in coordination with the RLSS UK team
- To actively recruit and increase the number of clubs affiliated to RLSS UK
- To support our Branches and their work in the regions through ongoing communication, sharing RLSS UK updates and feeding back on Branch activities and requirements
- Understand the water safety and drowning prevention geographical landscape across Wales and Ireland and actively seek to enhance lifesaving provision in areas of low activity
- In partnership with the Volunteering and Events Team and Sports Committee, continue to develop and grow participation in Lifesaving Sport
- Support clubs to achieve and maintain the appropriate accreditation in line with RLSS UK requirements and policies
- Support clubs to ensure they have the appropriate status, governance, and structure to enable them to be sustainable and effective
- Support clubs, branches and working groups to offer effective pathways for the development of talent, growth, and retention of members
- Support clubs to ensure they are compliant with the safeguarding requirements set out by RLSS UK
- To support clubs to have an affective and appropriate workforce in place, including supporting them to recruit, train and retain
- Contribute to RLSS UK’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion work to ensure affiliated clubs grow their capability to ensure every community enjoys water safely

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward-thinking Capital Project Manager to oversee the management and development of the school estate.
Reporting to the Head of Estates and Projects and working with the estates team, you will be responsible for delivering the capital developments across the estate, including a focus on new schools, sustainability projects and efficiency standards.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing SCA project priorities, budgets and delivery from inception to end of defects
- Managing the opening and delivery of new free schools with the DfE, design teams and local authorities
- Managing and supporting estate condition, maintenance and asset management
- Managing capital elements of academy conversion projects
- Planning, procuring and delivering high-quality estate and project services
- Managing and monitoring external technical advisors
- Managing health & safety across all project lifecycles
- Managing third-party suppliers and consultants
- Managing consultations, admissions, branding, marketing, FF&E and uniforms for new schools
- Providing professional property services and ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations

About this role, and your main responsibilities
Our current CEO is moving on after nine years in role, leaving the organisation, team and wider movement in a strong and empowered position to deliver on the next phase of our development.
Your opportunity is to lead the organisation, and to deliver on our new five-year strategy setting an ambitious course for the future during a period of major transformation for our railways and the wider transport system. You will ensure that we are:

Other information
The role will involve extensive travel within Britain as part of building your profile and that of the organisation with central and devolved government in Scotland and Wales, and increasingly with the devolved regions of England.
There is flexibility on location given the requirement to travel and that your office will be home-based. You will need to travel to in-person quarterly team meetings (usually in London or West Yorkshire) and to Board meetings which alternate between online and London. It is expected that travel will be by public transport and easy access to the rail network is therefore required to ensure journeys can be made sustainably.
This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week. We use a flexi-time system with core hours 10am-3pm, and are committed to being a flexible, supportive and understanding employer. This is a permanent position with a probationary period of six months.

Purpose of the Job
This role is pivotal to the success of FareShare in the region. This individual is ultimately responsible for the leadership, development and direction FareShare’s operations locally. The individual will offer a holistic view of the operation within the setting of the local need and ensure that there is an innovative approach to meeting this need within the confines of complete compliance and operational safety. The role will manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of the Regional Centre in liaison with other key managers. They will also manage and support the Regional Centre staff and volunteers, leading by example to ensure that our ambitious targets are met and ensure continuity of delivery standards within the guidelines of FareShare national policies and procedures and the needs of the local community.
FareShare UK has ambitious strategic goals and targets and this role provides the conduit to meeting these with the region. They will focus on meeting growth targets and operational excellence and report effectively on these to FareShare UK’s central teams and partners. This role is FareShare’s ambassador locally and will make connections with stakeholders in other not-for-profit organisations, local government, funding bodies and local media sources on our behalf.
The role is responsible for the sustainability of the region both in terms of financial sustainability through earned income and creating and delivery innovative projects to further the mission.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and develop strategy and business models in line with organisational strategy to accept and redistribute all food to our communities
- Manage and work within budgets, including forecasting, to increase income and improve costs

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. You will coordinate our climate Coalition – Roots to Rise. You will be accountable for the development and delivery of our Climate Coalition Programme; Roots to Rise, including but not limited to:
- Coordinating efforts to set the strategic direction and priorities for the Programme, working primarily with the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships, and in connection with others that need to feed into the programme.
- Proactively build relationships with our coalition partners. This involves:
- Holding regular 1:1s and relational meetings that strengthen our connection, supporting partners to identify and act on their developing political interests, and ensuring they meet coalition milestones.
- It also includes providing ongoing support around campaigns and community organising, enabling partners to lead and deliver local actions following the Summer Camp.
- Lead the Youth Steering Group. This involves:
- Providing strategic oversight and facilitation of the Youth Steering Group, ensuring consistent engagement, strong attendance, and meaningful youth voice throughout the programme.
- Setting clear agendas, supporting members to contribute confidently, and ensuring insights are captured and translated into programme design and delivery.
- Working closely with partners to maintain alignment and ensure the group reflects the diversity and needs of the young people Roots to Rise serves.
- Lead the development of the Summer Camp (15th - 19th August 2026), ensuring availability across these dates:
- Work closely with the Associate Director of Partnerships to oversee the delivery of the Roots to Rise Summer Camp, ensuring all elements are well-coordinated, high-quality, and aligned with programme outcomes.
- Take ownership of key logistics, including timelines, partner coordination, and on-the-ground delivery, ensuring a smooth and inclusive experience for all participants.
- Support and enact mechanisms to capture learning and feedback throughout, ensuring insights are gathered effectively to inform real-time improvements and future iterations of the camp.
- You will ensure that Roots to Rise runs like a well-oiled machine by pulling in the right people at the right time to ensure key milestones are met:
- Coordinate and maintain a suite of behind-the-scenes systems, processes and resources to keep things running like clockwork and provide transparency and help build trust
- Coordinate the holding of safeguarding, risk management standards and ensure Health and Safety standards are met.
- Maintain the clear monitoring and evaluation frameworks for your work which allow you and your team to learn, test, and re-test as you build, in partnership with young people and other partners
- Hold the budget for the Roots to Rise Programme, ensuring that all activities are run within financial targets, working closely with the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships to maintain oversight, identify efficiencies and potential savings, and proactively flag any risks or opportunities that may impact delivery or budget adherence.
2. You will support our wider partnerships work. Support the Associate Director of Partnerships to deliver our overall partnerships strategy. This will include, but is not limited:
- Working closely with the Senior Lead for Gender Coalition to identify opportunities for collaboration and reducing duplication
- Work closely with the Programmes, Organising and Campaigns, and Community teams to develop training on organising and campaigning.
- Deliver ad hoc workshops and meetings, holding space effectively and designing and delivering creative learning journeys for young people.
3. You will a key member of the Programme Team, including but not limited to:
- Support efforts to set the strategic direction and priorities for the Programmes Team each financial year.
- Support the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships with the management and mitigation of organisational risks presented by the Coalition by escalating issues in a timely manner and contributing to effective problem solving.
- Contribute to the delivery of wider organisational programmes beyond Roots to Rise, including providing support to initiatives such as Ignite and other internal programme delivery as required, ensuring alignment with team priorities and organisational goals.
4. Share responsibilities for achieving our strategic objectives by upholding our vision, mission, strategy, ideology, and cultural values within your area and across TAA, supporting on cross-departmental projects as needed:

- Work with your team and the Finance, HR and Operations team to prioritise and centre risk management in your portfolio: feeding into risk analysis and mitigation, identifying and escalating risks to the strategic objectives, taking the lead to mitigate risks early and thoroughly.

Operating within a fast paced environment, you will work effectively and efficiently to maximise income from sales, gift aid, and other promotional activities plus drive donations from the local area. About the role
We are looking for a tenacious and curious Data & Insight Analyst. This role is at the heart of how we use data to drive change. You’ll own our approach to data, insight and reporting across fundraising and services, making sure our systems work brilliantly, our data is trusted, and our reporting actually gets used.
In this role you’ll turn information into actionable insight; spotlighting how our supporters engage with us, how our services make a difference, and where we can do better. Key responsibilities
Data management & systems
- Act as the primary system administrator for RSBC’s key databases
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, hygiene and documentation
- Manage user permissions and secure access in line with data protection requirements
- Oversee integrations, imports, exports and API connections
- Lead on troubleshooting, system development and liaison with external providers
- Conduct routine data quality checks, audits, cleansing and deduplication
- Support month-end reconciliation, in collaboration with the Finance team
- Maintain accurate consent records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Advise colleagues on best practice and ethical data use
Insight & reporting
- Produce regular insight reports for teams across the organisation
- Develop KPI dashboards and visualisations to support decision‑making
- Analyse fundraising data including supporter behaviour, retention, conversion and lifetime value
- Analyse service delivery data including demographics, reach and outcomes
- Support impact measurement and reporting for funders
- Design, analyse and interpret surveys and evaluation data
- Proactively identify and communicate actionable insights
Development & improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, automation and reporting
- Lead development projects to enhance how RSBC uses data

We’re an award-winning charity running local learning centres in the heart of the communities where the young people we support live. Our centres provide a high-impact education programme which includes practical learning support, pastoral care, and motivational and confidence-building activities for young people aged 7-18. Our aim is to enable students from the least advantaged neighbourhoods to realise their ambitions and achieve their wonderful potential.
As the UK’s leading university access organisation, our staff team is helping 56,000 young people each year at its 44 learning centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, and we plan to scale-up our provision to 50 centres over the coming years.
We are looking for a high-calibre candidate who will enjoy working each day with young people and who will thrive in a frontline, community-based, fast-paced and rewarding role. You will be taking up a permanent role as Centre Leader at our IntoUniversity centre in Bridlington. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery.
A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

Centre Leaders are based at one of our IntoUniversity learning centres and work directly with young people, schools and families on a daily basis. It is therefore not a hybrid role and is based full-time in our centres

The role requires intermittent travel in your region (usually within the day). Periodic travel out of the area is also required e.g. to London, this may include occasional overnight stays.
Salary
£36,400 per annum.
Annual leave
33 days (inc bank & public holidays) + 3 closure days (two in December and one in July) + additional length of service entitlement (one day per year of service, up to 5 days)
