Volunteer Trustee opportunities
We are seeking to appoint new Trustees to become actively involved in the strategic direction, governance and decision making of the charity. As a Trustee you will join a dynamic and supportive team committed to making a difference to people affected by cancer. With a new, incoming Chair, this is an exciting time to join the Board as it works toward shaping the charity’s future. Healthcare
Medical Practitioners or Allied Health Professionals with recent experience of working with cancer patients/or cancer treatment, ideally within the NHS.
Commercial
The Penny Brohn UK National Centre offers external organisations a unique environment for their own business use which includes daily and residential bookings as well as tenancy agreements. Due to a successful period of growth in recent years, the charity would welcome the expertise of a Trustee with significant experience in this area who can support the development of this income stream further.

Support for new Trustees
New Trustees are fully supported through a planned induction into the organisation, starting with an introduction to each area of the Charity.
Time commitment
The Trustee Board meet four times in-person each year at the National Centre in Bristol on Fridays, generally between 9am – 4pm. Trustee representation is also required on one or two online sub-committees, which are held up to four times per year for each committee and Trustees will be appointed to the sub-committees once recruited into post in accordance with their relevant skills and experience. Attendance is also required for the AGM and an annual Trustee Away Day as well as occasional events or strategic discussions
Attendance at Key Events
As ambassadors for the Charity, the Trustee Board is encouraged to ensure that there is Trustee representation at key events throughout the calendar year such as fundraising, networking and other high-profile events.
Tenure
Trustees are appointed for a three-year term with a maximum appointment of four terms (12 years).

Skills and Experience
We are seeking a treasurer with strong charity financial expertise who is motivated by the opportunity to support a growing charity making a positive impact in young people’s lives. ·A professional background in charity finance with at least 5 years post-qualification as an accountant, investment or financial management professional

Fundraising Volunteer
Challenge Adventure Group (“CAG” for short and the operating name of CAG Trust) is a voluntary youth organisation for Knowle, Dorridge and beyond aimed at boys aged 10 and above.

CAG was formed in 2009 and became a charity, CAG Trust, in 2019. Responsibilities:
Communicating and building relationships with current and potential donors.
Organise established fundraising activities, such as our legendary CAG car wash.

Develop and coordinate web-based fundraising, online auctions and merchandise sales.

Oversee corporate fundraising, including employee giving and matched giving from employers.
Manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information.

Researching and contacting new sources of funding.
Drafting proposals for projects, activities and equipment.

SarcoidosisUK is looking for a new Chair of Trustees to lead our Board and support the next stage

the amazing support for those affected by sarcoidosis and drive forward progress to future proof

SarcoidosisUK is a small charity with big ambitions! We want to make a difference to the lives of
those affected by sarcoidosis in the UK by providing information and support, raising awareness

As Chair, you'll guide us at Board level, champion the SPAB Approach, attend meetings, support our activities and be an ambassador for the country’s oldest heritage organisation.

We help people to look after old buildings, making them fit for the future while keeping their historic character. We do this through casework, technical research and advice, education and training, awards, outreach and events across the UK and Ireland.
Our work is underpinned by a conservation philosophy that encourages people to preserve historic fabric.
