About The Pinnacle Centre
The Pinnacle Centre is a third space in Birmingham helping young adults grow holistically. We work across three domains: personal development, sports and wellbeing, and community and belonging.
Vision 2030 is where that work is heading. We're building a multi-purpose centre in Birmingham — sports facilities, co-working space, an auditorium and a café — designed as a home for young adults to train, work, learn and gather.
Role Summary
You own campaigns end to end, and the audience thinking behind them. You take a target — attendance, sign-ups, donations — work out who we need to reach and how, brief the team, and deliver the number.
Key tasks
1. Audience & planning
○ Define priority audiences and what genuinely motivates each of them to turn up.
○ Own the marketing calendar, mapped to the programme, event and fundraising calendars.
○ Set and publish targets: reach, sign-ups, attendance and return rate.
2. Campaign execution
○ Build campaign plans with objective, audience, message, channels and timeline.
○ Write clear briefs for Creative, Video and Social, with realistic lead times.
○ Manage paid promotion within budget, and adjust mid-campaign on what the numbers say.
3. Measurement
○ Track performance against target daily while a campaign is live.
○ Run post-campaign reviews with honest conclusions.
○ Own analytics, CRM data quality and GDPR compliance for marketing communications.
4. Coordination
○ Coordinate with Fundraising on income campaigns and with Events on ticketing.
○ Support Partnerships with distribution through partner channels.
○ Report to the CMO against target.
What we're looking for
● Campaign management experience with outcomes you can quantify.
● Fluent in analytics and comfortable running paid social.
● A clear brief writer — precise about audience, message and what success looks like.
● Organised; much of this role is running other people's deadlines.
● Persuasive copywriting ability (desirable).
What we have to offer
● Real ownership of a function, not a task list — you will shape how it works, not just execute someone else's plan.
● A seat in a team building towards a 2030 horizon, with a clear line of sight to the leadership team.
● Access to our network of founders, professionals, entrepreneurs and investors through Pinnacle's events programme.
● Training, mentoring and the opportunity to build and lead a team of your own as the organisation grows.
● The reward of building something in your city that will outlast all of us.
Please note: this is currently a volunteer position. Reasonable expenses for travel, equipment and refreshments are reimbursed in line with our Expenses Policy. As Pinnacle grows and funding allows, we expect several senior roles to move to paid positions, and volunteers already in post will be considered first.

Do you have experience in managing projects within or connected to the music industry, and have some time you can give back to help an amazing cause? Do you want to be part of an exciting new band launch? PINT Giving are looking for a Project Manager to lead the launch of the PINT Syndicate!
The PINT Syndicate, under the PINT brand umbrella, will be a new collective/band producing and performing original songs. We are building a founding team to work together to establish the band, including working with our volunteer HR manager to recruit all roles required including songwriters, producers, band members and singers.

What’s in it for you? Volunteering at PINT is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the charity sector, develop your skills, and contribute to an amazing cause.

Join the Team and Help Us Build the Future of The Swadhinata Trust
The Swadhinata Trust is embarking on a journey of significant growth and transformation. Having recently refreshed our purpose, mission, and brand, we are now ready for our next big leap: transitioning from a grassroots volunteer organisation to a scalable charity with paid staff and expanded reach.
To reach our full potential, we need 'roll-up-your-sleeves' leaders who are eager to help us transform. What will you be doing?
SPORT 4 SUCCESS is looking for an experienced marketing or social media professional to lead the development of our marketing strategy and improve how we communicate our work.
We are a UK-based charity that uses sport to help young people develop life skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership. We have delivered a growing number of programmes and events, but our marketing and social media have not developed at the same pace as our delivery.
The volunteer will take leadership of our overall marketing direction, with support from trustees and less experienced volunteers who can help with content creation and delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
This is a strategic and hands-on role. The volunteer will have freedom to shape our approach and test new ideas, while working closely with the charity’s trustees and wider team.
We are looking for someone with at least three years of professional experience in marketing, social media, communications, branding, content strategy or a related area.
The role is unpaid, UK-based and expected to require around two hours per week, with flexibility around when the work is completed.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with at least three years of professional experience in marketing, social media, communications, branding, content strategy or a related field.
The most important requirement is the ability to develop a clear, practical marketing strategy and turn it into consistent activity. You should be comfortable taking ownership of the charity’s marketing direction while working collaboratively with trustees and other volunteers.
Our ideal volunteer will have:
Experience in the charity, education, youth or sports sectors would be useful, but it is not required. Experience supporting a growing organisation, working with volunteers or developing a brand would also be valuable.
You should be creative, reliable and comfortable working within a small team. We are looking for someone who will listen to different perspectives but can also make clear recommendations and lead the marketing approach.
You do not need to produce every piece of content yourself. Other volunteers and team members can support delivery. However, you should be able to set the direction, establish suitable processes and provide constructive guidance.
An interest in helping young people develop their skills and future opportunities through sport and education would be a strong fit with our work.
What difference will you make?
Strong marketing will help SPORT 4 SUCCESS reach more young people, schools, delivery partners, funders and volunteers.
At present, much of our impact happens through our programmes, events and direct relationships, but we do not communicate that impact consistently. This limits our ability to build awareness, attract support and show the value of our work.
Your work would help us create a clearer identity, communicate our purpose more effectively and build a consistent presence across our social media and wider marketing channels.
A stronger strategy would help us:
The role will also help us move away from ad hoc marketing and towards a structured approach that the wider team can follow.
As a small charity, this role would have direct influence. The volunteer’s ideas and recommendations would shape how SPORT 4 SUCCESS presents itself, communicates its work and grows over the next stage of its development.
The result will be a stronger platform for helping more young people build skills, confidence and future opportunities through sport and education.
Before you apply
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an informal online conversation with members of our trustee team. This will be an opportunity to discuss your experience, learn more about the charity and explore how you would approach the role.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and we may arrange conversations before the closing date. We aim to respond to shortlisted applicants within two weeks of receiving their application.
