As Chair, you will:

- Work closely with the Chief Executive to plan meetings, set agendas, and develop the Board
- Oversee induction, training, appraisal, and succession planning for trustees
- Address any conflict within the Board and the organisation

Commitment & Remuneration
- Voluntary position; reasonable trustee expenses (e.g., travel) can be claimed

- Four full Board meetings per year, held in person in central London
- Regular meetings with the Chief Executive and ongoing communications with trustees

What you’ll be doing
We’re on the lookout for a Social Media Intern to join our high-performance Social Media Team. Some of the things you’ll be doing week-to-week includes:
• Assisting creating creative and engaging social media strategies for our platforms,
and enacting them day to day
• Managing the day-to-day posting of a particular social media channel such as
LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and LinkedIn
• Planning and delivering content across different platforms using scheduling tools
such as Buffer and/or Meta Business Suite

You will be a big link to our charity's clients who are vulnerable and isolated, to them learning more about events, our latest articles, fundraising events as well as ensuring they are aware of the services that we offer that be of help to them. You will also be helping us to raise awareness of this devastating chronic condition.
Even though we are a small organisation we have big ideas and having regular contact through emails and newsletters will show consistency and know they can rely on us to be there for them.
We would like the volunteer to help with:
- Email content: Develop our communication & marketing content calendar, write compelling regular email content, including calls for donations & support, that is relevant and has clear a call-to-action and high click through rates;
- Email content (membership): Create a regular email newsletter for our membership scheme
- Create a number of automated email series - for donors, members, fundraisers and more
- Newsletter strategy: Help us plan and articulate how we can use emails and newsletters to strengthen our organisation, motivate our supporters and communicate with our sponsors;
- Design and implement campaigns and promotional activity

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Volunteer to help raise our digital profile and share the story of life at FFPG. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys filming, editing and creating simple, engaging content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
You’ll help us launch our TikTok presence, establish a regular posting rhythm and showcase the impact of our ecotherapy and community activities. One key focus over the next few months will be supporting our recruitment of “buddy volunteers” who assist participants during gardening sessions.
This role combines occasional on-site visits with remote flexible work. You can shape your own schedule, with a minimum of one post per month (ideally weekly).
Key Responsibilities

Visit the garden semi-regularly to film short clips, interviews or “day in the garden” moments

We are growing our volunteering team and looking to recruit 2 Lead Volunteers for our Content Team. We’re looking for two people who have a passion for promoting a charity supporting a rare condition and have the ability to support a volunteering team as well as plan and use communication tools such as websites, Canva and other digital platforms.

You will provide leadership for your team and support the development of a communications plan for the charity.
Key Tasks and Objectives
- Lead a team of content writer volunteers.
- Lead and co-ordinate internal projects, activities and campaigns that help build awareness of our organisation and its aims.
- Building, leading and inspiring the content team, ensuring goals are agreed and communicated to support the achievement of our overall aims and projects.
- Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and ideally optimised for search and user experience for channels of content including on our website, in our members' magazine as well as supporting the content for social media .

- The implementation of a functional content calendar
- Establishing workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and repurposing content
- Operate as the point of contact for content volunteers in the team.
