Responsibilities:
• Helping maintain our IT Helpdesk, responding to queries and tickets raised by
Travel Radar's volunteers.
• Maintaining Office365 including malware/phishing audits, creating new users,
deleting users, and managing access to groups, Intranet pages and shared
mailboxes.
• Maintaining public website pages including the About, Contact and Press/PR
Hub pages (WordPress CMS).
• Helping with Linux Server Management tasks including audits, virus scans and
weekly monitoring activities.

Our hospice provides compassionate care and support for people with life-limiting illness and their families. The Role

As a Trustee you will help provide strategic leadership, governance and oversight of the hospice.

Role Summary.

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to help build, maintain, and scale Roots Academy’s data infrastructure. You’ll take ownership of key data pipelines, working closely with the data lead and collaborate with teams across Digital Platforms, Marketing, Fundraising, and Operations to ensure our data is reliable, well structured, and useful for decision making. Your work will directly support how we measure student transformation, programme impact, and organisational performance at every level.

Beyond this, you’ll contribute to the design of our data architecture, helping shape how data flows from source systems into the database. You’ll also support management of our GCP environment (e.g. BigQuery datasets, IAM, performance), ensuring the platform remains clean, scalable, and secure as Roots grows.

Tech Support Volunteers provide one-to-one support to clients with their phones, tablets, computers, and other devices. The hours and time commitments are flexible depending on your availability, but we require volunteers to commit to a minimum of 3 sessions of 1 hour per month.

Full training and equipment are provided, and reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Bridge the Gap Ending Digital Poverty C.I.C is a community interest organisation based in Hackney, dedicated to supporting families, children, and the wider community. We strive to provide an inclusive, non-discriminatory service where everyone feels welcome. We invite you to join our friendly team as a Volunteer Digital Skills Champion and help shape our future. This role will be based in our community hubs, this could be job centres, food banks, libraries etc. If you have 3-6 hours to spare per week, are tech-savvy, and live in or near Hackney, don't miss the chance to support those in need and make a difference!

Role Description

• Must live in or be local to Hackney
• To support residents in basic tech knowledge using digital devices such as Laptops, tablets /Ipads or phones
• To support/guide participants to navigate through their devices safely
• To support residents on a one to one basis weekly
• To Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents enabling them to build confidence
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
• To support residents to give feedback on what they have learnt
• Understand safeguarding or willing to undertake training
• Knowledge of basic first aid

Commitment

The role requires a weekly commitment of around 3-6 hours on a weekly basis.
