All Nations Christian College has been leading the way in cross-cultural mission training for over 60 years. Role Purpose

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for managing key ICT projects to support the college’s organisational objectives. The role will project manage external ICT suppliers and partners. The college’s operational ICT services are in the process of being outsourced so the ICT Project Manager will need to ensure systems remain reliable and secure during the transition project.

Key Responsibilities

 ICT Project Management

• Develop and maintain project plans and schedules.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed budgets, scope and quality constraints.
• Provide regular progress reporting to senior management and teams.

Supplier Management

• Manage relationships with external ICT suppliers and service providers, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Oversee supplier performance against contracts, addressing issues and evaluating  service provision.
• Ensure suppliers comply with organisational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Operational ICT Oversight

• Provide oversight of transition to outsourcing of day‑to‑day ICT operational services, ensuring systems are stable, resilient, and supported.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure projects and services comply with information security, data protection, and organisational governance standards.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues appropriately.
• Maintain accurate project and service documentation.

Volunteer Safeguarding Lead  for Watford and Three Rivers Refugee Partnership (WTRRP)

Job summary:  The Safeguarding Lead will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and overseeing safeguarding policies and procedures. This individual will work closely with staff, volunteers, and the Committee to promote a safe environment and handle any safeguarding concerns effectively.

WTRRP is a registered charity (England, reg no 1162226) that exists to support people in the Watford Borough and Three Rivers District of West Hertfordshire, who do not yet have status in the UK, or who have specific needs related to their application process or welfare. Currently WTRRP has around 160 live cases (defined as a family unit or individual currently in need of our help).

WTRRP is run by a Committee, which includes several Trustees. The Committee meets typically every 2 months and also for an Annual General Meeting, but it also provides day-to-day support to our staff members (Casework Coordinator and part-time Office Manager) and to our ~80 volunteers.

The main roles of the charity are to run a drop-in session every Tuesday (at St Mary’s Church in central Watford), a social hub at the same time, and to provide financial and other assistance to its clients for their application process for leave to remain in the UK.

Commitment: [ approximately 5 hours per week]

Key Responsibilities:

Policy Development: Develop and regularly review safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with legal and best practice standards.

Training: Organize safeguarding training sessions for staff and volunteers and review exisiting training.

Support: Provide guidance and support to staff and volunteers on safeguarding matters, including responding to concerns and allegations.

Monitoring: Monitor the implementation of safeguarding policies and practices across the organization.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safeguarding concerns and incidents, and ensure timely reporting to relevant authorities and stakeholders.

Review: Conduct regular reviews of safeguarding practices and make recommendations for improvements.

Key Requirements:

Experience: Prior experience in safeguarding, child protection, or a related field is preferred. Experience in a leadership or advisory role is advantageous.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practices. Knowledge of working with vulnerable individuals is essential.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Commitment: A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.  The role will require approximately 5 hours per week.

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in safeguarding, child protection, or related areas are desirable. Training in safeguarding is a plus.

Volunteer Ice Cream Bike Operator

About The Role

We’re looking for positive minded individuals who can bring joy and some theatre to Ice Cream sales whilst on the move on our electric trike at Martin Mere Wetland Centre.

Become the face (and wheels!) of Martin Mere Wetland Centre – a mobile, bike‑powered ice‑cream experience that pops up where the crowds are. You’ll steer one of our fully‑equipped electric bikes, to delight customers with ice cold refreshments and Ice-Creams. Use your entrepreneurial flair to maximise daily sales. Expect plenty of sunshine, spontaneous dance‑offs with kids, and the buzz of being on the move. 

Volunteers are an essential part of the WWT team. You’ll get a warm welcome, including information on training, equipment and anything else you need.

•Helping out with school groups as appropriate, bringing their science curriculum to life.

•Engaging pupils in the natural world and helping to foster a love of the outdoors and wetland habitats.

•Interacting with children in a sensitive and responsive manner.

Admin Manager/Lead – VOLUNTEER ROLE

Remote | Approx. 4 hours per week | MINDSET Charity (UK)

Transforming men’s mental wellbeing through action, challenge, and real‑world connection

MINDSET is building a new kind of men’s mental wellbeing and personal growth movement in the UK — one that speaks the language men actually respond to: doing, belonging, challenge, and shared purpose. We’re not clinical. We’re not corporate. We’re not another “sit in a circle and talk about your feelings” model. We create experiences that help men grow, connect, and rebuild confidence from the inside out.

And now, we’re looking for an Admin Manager/Lead to build the operational backbone that keeps this national movement running smoothly.

This is a founding role. You will help build the administrative systems and processes that will support men across the UK for years to come.

What You’ll Lead

As our Admin Manager/Lead, you will:

• Build simple, effective administrative systems that keep the charity running smoothly

• Manage inboxes, documents, schedules, and internal communications

• Create and maintain clear processes that support volunteers and programme leads

• Keep information organised, accessible, and up to date

• Support onboarding processes and ensure volunteers have what they need

• Work closely with leadership to streamline operations as we grow

• Help build a movement that changes the way men experience wellbeing in this country

This role is remote, flexible, and designed for someone who wants to make a real impact in just a few hours each week.

Cats Protection in Poole are looking for a Volunteer Cashier in our charity shop.

Ideally you'll enjoy fashion, and the fun of a charity shop - you'll help shoppers find hidden gems. You'll help keep us looking beautiful - maintaining the shop floor, filling up our clothing rails, and using your creativity to help create exciting displays. You'll also be meeting our customers and helping them shop, as well as our kind donors, supporters, and cat-lovers!

Your kindness and hard work will help us care for cats and kittens in the Dorset area, with links to our Ferndown homing centre.

Full training will be provided, so experience is not necessary - but enthusiasm is a must!

As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising volunteers use their passion for cats and people to raise the vital funds needed to help more cats and kittens in need. As a fundraising volunteer we want to support you to fundraise in whatever way suits you best, whether that’s organising a fundraising event, fundraising online, promoting fundraising activities on social media, completing administration or supporting the development of new fundraising ideas! Whatever your skill set, this could be the role for you!

What we need from you

This is a eally flexible role, you can choose what you’d like to get involved with, for example: 

• face-to-face fundraising. Organising or helping with fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, monitoring collection tins 

• online fundraising. Setting up online appeals and writing impactful cat case studies that maximise donations

• marketing. Spreading the word about our fundraising activities, for example on social media and with the local press  

• completing administration. Processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, completing Gift Aid paperwork

● championing our work. Getting involved with developing new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement

● photography. Capturing images of cats in care, cats we are helping, events and all things Cats Protection

Time expectation

This is a flexible role that can fit around your other commitments to suit you. You’ll be part of a team raising vital funds while having fun in the process!
