The role entails identifying and leading on opportunities for the UK government to achieve environmental progress and implementing advocacy strategies to secure it. You will have direct access to senior policy makers and environmental leaders, so will need to articulate recommendations succinctly and persuasively.
The role requires excellent understanding of UK political processes (especially in Westminster, parliament and Whitehall) and experience of using it to influence policy effectively. Experience of operating within the system or of working directly with politicians and the media to achieve policy change would be a distinct advantage.

About the role
This is a senior role working across the whole Charity, tasked with growing public awareness and support for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. With a combined following of 600k+ across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn, our youth mental health content sparks millions of engagements a year. This role is a rare chance to take a subject impacting 1 in 5 young people under 25 and turn it into content our audiences actively follow, engage with and feel part of. About this role
The Social Media Manager will own and evolve YoungMinds' social media strategy from the ground up, leading a small, passionate team to create standout, community-led content for a highly engaged audience of 600k+. Our channels are increasingly critical to reaching young people and the parents and adults in their lives - and this role sits right at the centre of mobilising them around our new organisational direction, using insight and creative instinct to reach the people who need us most.
You'll take an audience-first, insight-led approach - finding the right tone and format for every platform. Never clinical. Never performative. Always rooted in genuine community and support. You'll work in a true test-and-learn environment, free to experiment, take creative risks and push our social presence further than it's ever gone.

As a Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of the full payroll lifecycle for a workforce of approximately 1,500-2,000+ employees, ensuring an accurate, compliant and timely payroll service.
You will lead a small payroll team, working closely with Finance and HR to ensure strong governance, reporting and continuous improvement across payroll operations.
