The Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) is the professional home for archaeologists in the UK and overseas. We set high standards and benchmark good practice in archaeology to inspire trust in, and respect for, the profession of archaeology. As well as providing training and networks for over 4000 members, we develop and deliver regulated qualifications, accredit undergraduate degree programmes in archaeology and undertake a range of funded projects aimed at supporting the archaeology sector.
We are a fully remote organisation with home-based staff located across the UK. We work collaboratively online using MS Teams, with regular one-to-one, team and project meetings.
We are looking for a focussed and self-motivated individual to provide administrative support across the professional skills and standards areas of our work. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, good attention to detail and be confident communicating with stakeholders in a customer facing role. You will be familiar with a range of IT systems, particularly Office365 and be confident using databases and spreadsheets.

The post holder will join a growing, ambitious team delivering multi-benefit projects to protect and improve the Bristol Avon catchment, and the Trust Administrator will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of the Trust’s operations.
Job summary and purpose
The Trust Administrator is responsible for maintaining the core administrative functions of the Trust to ensure the smooth operation of the charity, enabling its mission to ensure healthy rivers for wildlife and people.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Trust Administrator will work with a range of internal and external contacts to ensure routine business functions, human and physical resources, supporter and governance liaison are working well. These roles are great for those passionate about having the opportunity to support our families directly, whilst also being involved in broader development work to enable strong collaborations and partnerships which empower people to achieve better outcomes.
We can't do it alone, so you will spend time working with other organisations and services in collaboration to ensure we don't duplicate provision, instead focussing on gaps in services supporting bereavement for Children, young people and families.
Posts are offered on a full-time basis, though flexible working patterns and some reduced hours may be considered.
