About Action Tutoring
At Action Tutoring, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to succeed in school. But in the UK today, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to
achieve the grades they need to progress in life. This isn't because they are any less able; they have less access to the tools to help them reach their potential.
We don't think this is fair. We know tutoring is an effective way of improving academic attainment and so we harness the power of volunteer tutors to bridge the gap and ensure this help can be accessed by every pupil who needs it, not just those who can afford it.
We specifically help pupils facing socio-economic disadvantage and who are at risk of leaving primary or secondary school without reaching national standards in their exams. We work in partnership with schools in different cities and regions across the UK, delivering weekly tutoring in English or maths to those pupils who need it most.
About the opportunity
We are looking for a strong candidate with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core National Curriculum subjects to join our established Impact and Quality department as Curriculum and Quality Manager. This role has oversight for ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality, tailored tutoring resources for pupils and tutors, and managing the quality assurance processes within our organisation. This role includes line managing a team composed of two Curriculum Leads. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department to provide matrix project leadership for the delivery of Initial Tutor Training.
To achieve this, we are looking for a candidate with experience teaching either English or maths (or equivalent) with a willingness to quickly understand the curriculum requirements in the other subject. You will have a strong understanding of how to set the standard for excellent tutor training and tutor quality assurance, using your educational expertise to shape effective training and quality assurance frameworks that enable tutors of varying experience levels to flourish. The position would suit someone who loves working in education, values pedagogical best practice, and thrives when balancing creative curriculum and quality development with operational realities.

Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital communications professional to join the Living Wage Foundation team as our Digital Communications Manager. The ideal candidate would have demonstrable digital communications skills and experience, on top of an enthusiasm for engaging supporters across our social networks, website and email communications. The candidate will be tech savvy and have experience managing social media, using a website CMS and other digital tools that will support engagement with the real Living Wage and other key areas e.g. Living Hours and a Living Pension, across multiple stakeholders. The role
We're looking for an exceptional Head of Membership to join our Audiences Directorate and take ownership of Art Fund's core membership portfolio at a pivotal moment in our growth. This is a leadership role that combines commercial weight (you'll own the membership budget, income targets, and product roadmap) with real creative purpose: shaping the propositions, pricing, and member experiences that bring art within reach of more people across the UK. You'll lead a talented team, own our CRM transformation programme, and shape the products and strategies that will grow our membership base - from retaining our loyal existing members to attracting a new generation. If you have a strong track record in membership, subscription, or loyalty programme leadership, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for what arts and culture can do for people, we'd love to hear from you.

INTERVIEW STAGES

ABOUT THE ROLE
Mission 44 exists to drive change and build a fairer, more inclusive future for young people around the world. As our work continues to expand, so does our ambition to influence policy, shift power, and drive systemic change by addressing the barriers young people face and advancing evidence-based solutions.
The Senior Manager, Policy & Campaigns will be central to this mission, leading the development of policy positions and research that strengthens Mission 44’s ability to influence decision-makers and shape public discourse.
Mission 44’s impact model brings together strategic investment (through grantmaking) and targeted influence to drive systemic change. The Senior Manager will work closely with grantmaking teams to ensure that insight from funded work is embedded in policy and research, while also feeding learning and evidence back into funding strategies to strengthen decision-making and maximise impact.
The role will lead and manage Mission 44’s policy and research agenda, acting as a key point of contact for partners and building trusted relationships across government, the education and youth sectors, and civil society. The role will lead the development of policy recommendations, commission and translate research into clear, actionable outputs, and collaborate with internal teams and partners to align policy priorities with wider organisational objectives and maximise influence.
The role also plays a critical role in advocacy and external engagement, ensuring Mission 44’s voice is present in key policy moments, supporting strategic campaigns, and connecting research and insight to high-impact opportunities that drive political attention and sustained change at a national and global level.

Philanthropy Officer
Do you have experience or knowledge of major donor fundraising (or transferable relationship-based fundraising/sales experience?
We’re looking for a motivated and confident fundraiser to join the High Value Engagement team, helping to grow our philanthropy programme and ensure everyone affected by stroke can access the support they need to rebuild their lives.

The Role
Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, the Philanthropy Officer will manage and grow a portfolio of supporters, focusing on cultivating and stewarding lower-level major donors. You’ll build strong, authentic relationships through thoughtful stewardship, and compelling communications, while identifying new prospects and securing vital income.
