The Role

To provide health and safety monitoring support to the housing team. This will include maintaining and updating local and central health and safety records and carrying out local health and safety inspections and checks using CIHA’s standard recording processes. Ensure tenants understand their health and safety obligations and support housing officers to take enforcement action as necessary.

As Administration Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support for the Administration & Supporter Relations Manager and other staff with tasks such as processing and recording residents’ leave applications, preparing thank you letters, assisting in the preparation and despatch of the monthly prayer diary and supporting the wider staff team with other administrative tasks as applicable (copying, laminating, data entry, document creation and editing).

As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and residents. You'll warmly welcome guests and help direct enquiries as needed, and handle reception duties with professionalism. This includes staffing the reception desk, accessing calendars, sending emails, and performing other basic administrative tasks to keep the front office running smoothly.

Yeldall Manor is a Christian organisation, and this role requires a committed Christian faith to meet the occupational requirements (in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010). We ask all staff to engage with and support our residents in their recovery journey, offering encouragement in both practical and spiritual matters.

This is a part-time, permanent position (16 hours per week). You will share Reception duties with the existing Administration Assistant/Receptionist, based in the ground floor Main Office of Yeldall Manor, located in a beautiful rural setting. Lunch is provided daily with staff and residents.

We have two roles available - one is permanent and the other is a three year contract.

The post holder would be responsible for:

* Providing specialist advice and advocacy service to the homeless guests of our services, which include Partner Day Centres and Night Shelters throughout the winter season.

* Employing creative thinking and practices to ensure that guests are supported and motivated to achieve their goals.

* Referring and signposting guests to accommodation providers, health service and other relevant internal and external support services, as necessary.

* Attending meetings with the Casework team, external service providers and partner organisations when required.

* Collating statistics and outcome measurements of the casework servicce for both internal and external use.

* Maintaining a well organised and easily accessible administration system for the casework programme in line with relevant legislation (eg GDPR)

* Undertaking any other duties as required by the charity.

Person Specification

Essential:

* At least one years experience of working one-on-one and assessing the needs of homeless people or similar disadvantaged client groups

* Empathic attitude to homeless and vulnerably housed people

* Up to date knowledge of the welfare issues and legislation affecting homeless people

* Knowledge of relevant support services available to homeless people, particularly in West London

* Confident approach to and experience of, dealing with challenging behaviour

RNID Near You Coordinator Leicester City

As a Coordinator for our RNID Near You community service in Leicester City, you will focus and lead on developing and delivering our community service across the area through drop-ins offering:

• practical hearing aid support
• information on hearing loss and tinnitus

You will be responsible for co-ordinating up to 15 drop-in sessions and be able to recruit, train and manage a team of up to 30 volunteers to deliver the service across Leicester City.  You will have responsibility for the set up and running of these sessions and have good local knowledge of the area and seek new opportunities for delivery of the RNID Near You services.

We are looking to appoint a motivated person with a keen interest in supporting people with their hearing loss. While you will be home based, there will be regular travel to all venues where we will provide drop-in sessions in community and care settings.

You have experience managing people or volunteers and events, your own workload and are able to work evenings/ weekends if required. Senior Social Worker

Our client is a national charity whose mission is to improve the lives of individuals and communities facing disadvantage due to the impact of the coal mining industry.

They are currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to be based in their office in Pontefract to lead the service delivery within the Yorkshire and North East region, managing a team of office based and home-based Social Work Assistants providing advice and support to former Miners and their dependents.

Role Purpose

Responsibility for the professional leadership and management of service delivery within the regional personal welfare team. The role also involves promoting the service locally and developing partnerships with other agencies for the benefit of the client group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the personal welfare team for the Yorkshire and North East region to provide a high quality, professional, outcomes focused service for former Miners and their dependents.
• Ensure the effective management of casework across the team including case allocation and management.
• Manage a small caseload of clients, when necessary, with a variety of needs, by carrying out high quality assessments and providing a range of appropriate interventions in response to assessed needs of the clients e.g. welfare benefits advice, advocacy, emotional support and practical advice.
• Drive service performance and improvement, monitoring efficiency and effectiveness and taking action to address performance or practice issues should they arise.
• Support the team through supervision, appraisal, case reviews and observations.
• Act as safeguarding lead for the region, advising and supporting team members to take appropriate action, ensuring adherence to the organisations safeguarding policy.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Degree in social work or equivalent social work qualification and current professional registration.
• Experience of leading / managing a team in a social care setting with the ability to manage and effectively prioritise caseloads, work with integrity and professionalism and work under pressure.
• Experience of community based social care services with experience of delivery with older people and / or disability services.
• Experience of implementing systems and processes and facilitating change.
• Experience of contributing to the development and updating of policies and practice in line with legislative changes and good practice.
• Good working knowledge of welfare benefits system.
• Knowledge and understanding of the values and principles underpinning working with vulnerable adults and their Carers within the community setting.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure the College meets its legal and regulatory compliance requirements as an educational establishment and a charity.  The focus of the role is to be responsible, with the support of the Training Administration team, for all reporting to regulatory bodies in a timely manner to ensure the College meets the requirements of the Office for Students (OfS), The Open University (OU), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and other regulatory bodies. The postholder will also take on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) within the organisation and ensure that the college processes all personal data in compliance with UK data protection legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for reporting internal information and meeting the reporting requirements of regulatory organisations – primarily the Office for Students (OfS), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Open University (OU), the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). This will be with the support of the Training Administration team and all other teams within the college.
• Collaborate with senior management and other department heads to ensure compliance

ISEAL is seeking an experienced communications professional with content creation, writing and campaigns strategy experience to bring ISEAL’s narrative to life. This role is ideal for a strategically minded storyteller, who thrives in a mission-driven environment and wants to shape how global audiences understand the power of market action on sustainability.

ISEAL is the global membership organisation for sustainability systems, including many of the world’s most respected schemes. Our members work across diverse sectors and issues – from labour rights and livelihoods to biodiversity conservation and climate resilience. Businesses and governments use these tools to inform policy and frameworks, and to select the most impactful systems with which to partner.

As part of our small communications team, you will play a pivotal role in building ISEAL’s reputation as a trusted voice and thought leader. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, you will work with colleagues across programmes and projects creating content, providing campaigns advice and support, sharpening messaging, crafting compelling thought leadership material, and maximising the impact of our communications.

This role calls for an excellent writer who can think strategically and translate complex information into engaging stories, delivered in a range of formats. Whether your background is in journalism, corporate communications, or strategic storytelling, you will bring a strong editorial eye, creativity, campaign skills, and the ability to spot the stories that matter most. You are self-motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural environment with multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines. Key responsibilities

Content creation and storytelling

• Develop and deliver high-quality content, including thought leadership campaigns (featuring podcasts, videos, editorials, and webinars)
• Amplify the work of project and programme teams, positioning it through the broader organisation narrative
• Write engaging news and feature articles that align with organisational priorities
• Review, edit and advise on content produced by colleagues and consultants
• Bring together complex and technical information and translate this into easy-to-understand messaging
• Safeguard ISEAL’s brand identity by ensuring all communications reflect its tone of voice and style, support colleagues to embed brand storytelling in their work through guidance and training

Messaging

• Develop and maintain ISEAL’s overarching organisational messaging framework, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with the broader narrative
• Create key message templates and toolkits for staff to support consistent communication across programmes, campaigns and external engagements
• Ensure ISEAL’s messaging reflects its mission, values and strategic priorities while resonating with diverse audiences
• Embed core messaging in content and campaigns
• Empower staff to confidently represent ISEAL by delivering messaging guidance and training that deepens understanding of organisational priorities and voice

 Campaign planning and delivery

• Provide programme teams with communication campaign planning advice
• Oversee the communications campaign scheduler, ensuring activities are coordinated and strategically aligned
• Lead dissemination and growth of thought leadership campaigns, with a particular focus on expanding podcast reach and impact
• Work with the senior coordinator to ensure campaign delivery is well executed
• Analyse the performance of campaign strategies to identify the most effective ways to expand ISEAL’s reach and improve engagement

Editorial oversight and sign-off

• Fully understanding and absorbing the organisational narrative, review and sign off on key communications materials, including social media copy and graphics, news page articles and organisation newsletters
• Ensure content adheres to brand, tone, and quality standards
• Keep key message resources such as FAQs and explainers up to date

Other responsibilities

• Create issue and crisis-response communications as needed
• Work with the communications coordinator to oversee content monitoring and metrics and assess effectiveness of communication tactics and strategies
• Ensure that review and approval processes, version control, and filing systems are in place to keep content accurate and sign-offs efficient
• Line manage and mentor direct reports, fostering growth and development

Essential experience, knowledge and attributes

• Significant professional experience in content creation and campaign delivery, ideally in an international NGO, membership body, or mission-driven organisation
• Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with proven ability to produce thought leadership articles and multi-format content (digital, video, podcast etc)
• Familiarity with podcasts and digital storytelling formats, including audience growth strategies.
• Familiarity with facilitating virtual meetings and webinars
• Strong campaign planning experience, including oversight of schedules and coordination across teams
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex sustainability and technical topics into clear, engaging messaging for diverse audiences
• Proven track record of developing and delivering campaigns that increase reach and engagement across a range of geographical regions, including experience using LinkedIn (organic and paid)
• Experience reviewing, editing, and signing off on communications materials
• Experience of maintaining brand voice and quality
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise colleagues and work collaboratively across teams, displaying professionalism and tact
• Interest in and some understanding of sustainability issues
• Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms, including virtual meeting tools (e.g. Teams, Zoom, etc.), collaborative working tools (e.g. Monday, Miro, etc.), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Background in sustainability communications or eco-journalism.
• Understanding of sustainability systems, which may have been gained through professional, academic, or voluntary experience.

At Mosaic, our mission is to provide specialist support for children and young people, when they are struggling to deal with the death of someone close to them.   We offer specialist counselling support, fun activities and advice to them and their families right across Dorset.

About the role

As a Peer Support Worker, you will use your skills and experience to work directly with people with mental health issues in group and one-to-one settings. You will support and encourage participants to identify their own strengths, triggers and life goals and co-produce individualised plans to help achieve them.

Hours

Part-time, 28 hours per week - 4 shifts (working evenings on a rota basis, 4.00pm - 11.30pm).

About you

You will need to have personal, lived experience of a mental health issue, as well as experience of working with people with mental health needs, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the key difficulties and challenges faced by people on their recovery journey.
