Purpose of job
The Support and Integration Officer are responsible for providing excellent standards of support, as well as quality information advice and guidance, to enable the resettlement and successful integration of refugees. This role is one of the main pillars of the service that ACH provides.
Key Responsibilities
Completing an initial Pre-Tenancy Assessment for each person referred to the service as well as developing a personalised plan of support for them ensuring that it is reviewed regularly
Giving advice and support on a range of issues including housing, finance, education, employment, health and immigration, as required.
Supporting people with budgeting / registering with care providers / creating social networks / advocacy/ volunteering / training / employment opportunities etc.
Making internal and external referrals to other services e.g. ACH / Careers and Enterprise or other relevant external agencies and referral partners as appropriate
Organising and attending group trips to local places of interest for our tenants
Developing links with external organisations or agencies to promote the needs of refugees and create opportunities for partnership working.
Effectively managing a designated caseload of tenants, as well as keeping accurate records and maintaining case files to a high standard.
Fully participating in team meeting, staff meetings, training sessions, supervision and any other relevant forum or communication processes.
Organising house meetings and visiting our tenants both at their properties and in the community
Making use of CRM Salesforce reports to improve case management

About the Service
Our Peripatetic Team provide front-line support to Solace’s Advice, Community and Accommodation-based Services across London. Crisis Intervention Workers enable our services to deliver a consistent high standard of service.
The team was created in order to have trained, skilled staff ready to cover gaps in service and facilitate the continued smooth running of services, proactively supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. They are required to go into different teams and quickly establish themselves and provide support in times where staff teams may be struggling.
About the Role
In all services, peri workers provide nonjudgmental, confidential, and psychologically informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Typical tasks include risk assessment, safety planning, and working with survivors to develop individual support plans.
Peri workers have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles across Solace’s services. Working across departments offers peri workers the ability to continually develop their knowledge, casework skills, advocacy skills, multi-agency working, and ability to manage and thrive in a changing environment.
The role will involve commuting to sites across London, and although hybrid working may be available in some projects it is not possible for all. Travel is taken into consideration when confirming placements, however you should be prepared for longer commutes.
As a Senior, you will need strong case management and the knowledge and confidence to advise others as you will often be in roles that involve supporting other staff members in their risk management and also career development. Your placements may involve partnership working and process development.
You will line manage up to three Peri employees in this role, so we are looking for someone ready to step in to a leadership role but training is available to develop these skills.
About You
The Peripatetic Team is dynamic – our colleagues bring a wide range of transferrable skills and different experiences to the team that informs our practice and work with survivors.
The Peripatetic Team is looking for passionate advocates who understand the importance of working in a trauma-informed way with both survivors and colleagues, who are willing to continuously learn and develop their skills, and who understand intersectionality and the impacts violence against women and girls can have on women with intersecting identities. While prior experience of working with survivors of abuse is desirable, it is not a requirement and if you have transferrable skills and a passion for supporting women and children then we would love to hear from you.
You will be a great addition to the Peri Team if you embrace change, have a growth mindset, and are comfortable working independently. Although peri workers are dispersed across different services, the team offers regular opportunities to connect with fellow peri colleagues.
You will need to be proactive and show initiative as there is lone working in roles and great time management skills to be able to balance your line management responsibilities as well as your case load.

The Role
The Senior Finance and Operations Administrator is a critical, multi-functional role supporting the financial, operational and administrative systems of GGF UK. The role will report to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Operations Manager on all operational tasks.
Acting as a key liaison between grants management, operations and finance, this role requires taking ownership of specific financial processes – particularly those intersecting with grants payments, forex providers and internal systems. The ability to clarify issues and relay technical information across functions will be essential and hence demand high attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to navigate and communicate complex financial and grant-related processes to non-financial colleagues.
Coordinating closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, the postholder will provide proactive administrative support including diary management.
The candidate profile.
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, human rights organisation, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit grant accounting/financial issues and dealing with both financial and grant information and processes, understand accounting principles, and have knowledge of accounting, and grantmaking processes. They have experience of using banking services and payment experiences (including international payments). They demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure the accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They will have the skills to give, receive, and work with feedback constructively. They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions. Multiple language skills would be ideal, while English fluency is a must.

Julie’s Bicycle’s Creative Green and Partnerships programme works with individual organisations and networks through consultancy and partnership. The programme combines sustainability expert advice, networking and peer-to-peer knowledge, supporting a wide variety of organisations in arts and culture to embed environmental sustainability into their value. From developing environmental action plans and training to designing net-zero pathways and sustainable exhibitions, we support organisations in incorporating sustainability into their strategy and governance, understanding their ecological impacts, and developing and monitoring action plans and practices.

Responsibilities
As part of the Creative Green and Creative Climate Partnerships team, our Climate Change & Sustainability Specialist will manage partnerships, working closely with a wide range of high-profile organisations in the arts and culture sector to help them understand, manage and improve their commitments to climate action and a just transition. A typical month might involve developing sustainability advice for cultural organisations supported by international cooperation, developing and delivering sustainability training for libraries, researching opportunities for climate action for artistic residencies, analysing environmental management data and writing recommendations and reports, helping write new proposals for partnership development, creating recommendations to influence cultural policy funding in the UK and Europe, creating a net zero plan for museums and theatres, supporting the sustainable production of exhibitions and performances.
With the Arts Council England programme, you will lead the management and delivery of the strand focused on decarbonisation, working collaboratively with the team. There is a significant opportunity to shape the programme to support organisations in decarbonising across key focus areas, including community energy schemes, district heat networks, nature-based solutions, circular economy initiatives, and energy management approaches, among others. Key responsibilities:

Experience And Skills
Essential
- Significant experience (five to seven years) of working in environmental sustainability programmes or a similar role.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully managing environmental projects, working in partnership with external organisations
- A degree in environmental science/studies/management/sustainability and/or another relevant academic discipline area, or evidence of equivalent expertise.
- A proactive, flexible approach, and the ability to progress work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- An interest in the arts and culture, the role they can play in the climate crisis, and the sustainability issues that impact this sector.

Compliance & Risk Management

Operate within charity law, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies

Safeguard Governance Standards and uphold principles of good governance, transparency, and accountability

Ensure teams operate safely and within SOPs

Oversee compliance for activities, societies, communications, and elections

Act as escalation point for safeguarding or risk concerns

Monitor systems for governance and student democracy and drive student engagement

Senior management experience
