About You

We are looking for an inspiring leader who is passionate about unlocking the potential of young people, championing educational equality, and driving lasting change. Skilled at building powerful partnerships, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and championing an inclusive, purpose-driven culture, you’ll also be a dynamic fundraiser, ready to support the growth and diversification of our income so we can expand our impact even further.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• A proven track record of senior leadership and management at a Chief Executive or Director level, likely in the charity or mission-driven sector
• Experience leading a complex organisation, with strong financial oversight, including managing a budget of comparable scale
• Demonstrated success in securing £1.5m+ a year of funding aligned with programme delivery; strong understanding of the connection between mission and sustainability
• Excellent leadership, management and team-building skills with a collaborative working style
• Strong political and organisational awareness, with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder environments
• Exceptional relationship-building skills and experience working with senior stakeholders across sectors
• Outstanding communication skills—written, verbal, listening, and presenting

The Development Manager plays a central part in enabling the Royal Court Theatre’s Development team to reach and grow ambitious fundraising targets for the charity’s mission.

The role will be responsible for a range of fundraising relationships and initiatives across a variety of sources, including high-level donors, corporate partners and trust & foundations (with scope to focus the role around the specialisms and interests of the appointee). This includes managing and stewarding key individual and corporate relationships, leading on applications, proposals and campaigns, and contributing to long-term fundraising targets and strategies.

The Development Manager will work closely with the Director of Development and wider Development Team (including as manager for team-members), as well as collaborating with other departments across the theatre.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience successfully planning and writing proposals and/or pitches for funding across a range of contexts and funders/partners.
• Experience managing relationships with key stakeholders including high level individual and/or corporate partners.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent organisational and management skills to handle a busy workload, tight deadlines and conflicting priorities.

We are seeking an experienced Communications Lead Officer who will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategic communications plan for the Diocese of St Davids and will shape and deliver a pro-active, strategic and mission-aligned communications function. WHAT WE OFFER

Black Thrive is looking for a Project Officer to support community-led change as we improve Black LGBTQ+ mental health and wellbeing across the Black Thrive localities through our programme Black Queer & Thriving.

Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people in Lambeth. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.

We're looking for someone who is confident in supporting the design and delivery of community-led research projects, supporting community engagement activities and providing administrative support to the programme. An understanding of health inequities, systemic racism and the experiences of Black LGBTQ+ communities is essential.

This role will focus on co-production, community engagement and participatory research. It is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful community research while gaining experience in influencing health systems and supporting strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities:

 1. Training and Development

• Collaborate with Learning and Development Lead and Practice Team to ensure training programs are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of diverse communities.
• Use adult learning principles to design and deliver creative, innovative, and bespoke training solutions aligned with local demand, strategic priorities, and funding requirements.
• Will deliver training through online learning systems, including learning management systems (LMS), virtual training tools, and e-learning platforms.
• Develop and apply robust quality assurance and evaluation processes for all training activities. Collect feedback, analyse outcomes, and implement improvements where required.
• Deliver both internal and external training sessions across TLC subject areas.

2. Income Generation

• Support the Learning and Development Lead to collaborate with TLC’s Development Team to identify and apply for funding opportunities to expand and enhance training services.
• Following successful funding applications, plan, deliver, and monitor training programs in line with funding agreements and outcomes.

3. Quality Assurance

• Support the Head of Practice and Safeguarding, and the Learning and Development Lead, in maintaining high quality standards and compliance with accreditation frameworks.
• Contribute to achieving and maintaining accredited quality awards through ongoing monitoring, review, and implementation of quality action plans.
• Work with the Operations Team to collect and analyse customer feedback and reviews, using insights to support continuous improvement, funding applications, and marketing initiatives.
• Support the Learning and Development Lead in ensuring all policies, procedures, and training materials are in place to support staff, volunteers, and placements, including induction and ongoing learning.

4. Partnership and Community Engagement

• Represent TLC at partnership meetings and events to promote training and development services.
• Support the Marketing and Communications Team in promoting services, sharing information, and engaging the local community through social media and other communication channels.
• Actively contribute to raising the profile of TLC through collaboration, partnership working, and effective promotion of training opportunities.

General

Partake in evening and weekend work as required. Support the designated safeguarding lead to ensure all staff, volunteers, trustees and students at TLC understand that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, this newly created role offers the chance to support the delivery of our new Fundraising and Partnership Strategy (2025–2029) by helping to grow our community of supporters, increase individual digital giving and deepen engagement with corporate partners. We also welcome your ideas and experience in developing how we might approach digital fundraising.
 
Working closely with the Director of Partnerships, this role will lead on community fundraising development and provide hands-on coordination of partnership activities, from employee volunteering and group sessions to corporate fundraising events and payroll giving. The role will also contribute to communications and marketing content.

Key Responsibilities 

Corporate Partnerships and Engagement 

• Support the Director of Partnerships in managing and delivering high-quality partnership activities, including: 

• Organising employee volunteering sessions – including mapping / tracking volunteer hours and activities (where possible) 

• Organising and supporting group visits, insight events, and work experience placements (as needed) 

• Work closely with NHP colleagues, Local House Project staff and partners to develop impactful partnership activities 

• Fundraising activities and events organised by corporate partners 

• Liaise with LHPs to coordinate partnership activity across different regions. 

• Maintain accurate partnership records and activity tracking in NHP’s CRM. 

Communications and Collaboration 

• Work closely with the Business Support Administrator and Admin Team to create and share communications and marketing materials that promote partnership activities, volunteering, and fundraising opportunities. 

• Support the preparation of partnership updates, impact stories, and social media content. 

• Contribute to internal communications about partnership successes and learning. 

• Support the rest of the NHP team from time to time, as required.

Community Fundraising, Individual Giving and Supporter Engagement 

• Plan, deliver and evaluate a calendar of community fundraising activities and events (third party) to build NHP’s supporter base, ensuring income and engagement targets are met. (We plan to have 2 community fundraising events a year, and support those our corporate partners organise).

• Recruit, brief and support challenge event participants, fundraisers and corporate teams undertaking community activities.

• Develop toolkits and resources to empower supporters (fundraising packs, JustGiving Guides and risk assessments) 

• Support the Business Support Administrator to manage the stock, ordering and distribution of fundraising materials to ensure event participants are equipped and engaged. 

• Support the Director of Partnerships to lead the event logistics (registrations, supplier liaison, risk assessments, volunteer coordination, on the day delivery and post event follow up) 

• Provide guidance, resources, and encouragement to individuals and groups fundraising on behalf of NHP. 

• Support the development of our long-term individual goals (one-off donations and regular giving via our website) 

• Coordinate fundraising communications, updates, and impact stories to strengthen donor engagement and retention. 

• Track and evaluate community fundraising and individual giving performance and supporter feedback. 

• Maintain accurate CRM records of donor giving/community fundraising 

• Support with sharing best practice and resources that enable local teams to engage effectively with partners and supporters

About the role

As Senior Community Partnerships Manager, you will:

• Report to the Head of Partnerships and line manage three Community Partnerships Managers, ensuring plans are focused, targets/KPIs are set and met and ROI is prioritised
• Oversee key accounts worth circa £1m across the team, seeking opportunities to uplift/evolve, whilst delivering exceptional donor experience for SME, community group, and association partners
• Be the key account manager for a range of partnerships that have the potential for growth, are higher profile or have a wider geography than one patch alone
• Work closely with the Corporate Team to ensure smooth handover of partners with higher value potential or commercial complexity or in reverse for those that focus more on staff fundraising alone

About you

Essential skills and experience: 

• Proven experience of growing income through regional community engagement, ideally within a charity setting
• Either line management or substantial coaching/mentoring experience
• Experience of working with community leaders
• Experience and evidence of first-class relationship management techniques and donor care
• Experience of organising events, managing volunteers, risk assessments and health and safety requirements
• Track record of cross-team working with examples of impact, ideally this will include collaborating with corporate partnerships teams

Out The Box (OTB) – hands-on analogue mixing workshops in leading London studios, giving emerging producers practical experience with desks, outboard gear and professional engineers while bridging digital and analogue production techniques.
