Liberty is looking for an exceptional Policy & Campaigns Officer with a strong understanding of civil liberties and human rights to join the team as we begin work on our exciting new three-year strategy.
This position, which sits in the Policy & Campaigns team, plays a key role in developing and implementing Liberty’s policy and campaigning priorities: undertaking high-quality research, influencing decision-makers, building coalitions, producing policy and campaign materials, providing policy input to strategic litigation, and building public and political support for Liberty’s work.
We are seeking someone who holds Liberty’s values and ambitions close to their heart, as we work to ensure everyone in the United Kingdom is treated fairly, with dignity and respect. This is a key role in securing the long-term policy change needed to protect the human rights and civil liberties of everyone who lives in the UK.
Policy & Campaigns Officers monitor and respond to policy threats to our human rights frameworks, to our rights to protest, and to live free from discrimination. They work with political players and civil servants to steer policy and legislation. They produce high-quality, persuasive content and translate complex legal and policy arguments in a clear and compelling way for mass audiences. They lead and support other human rights and civil society organisations, lending expertise and building solidarity. We have worked with civil society to fight back against the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the Public Order Act 2023, and to see off threats to our Human Rights Act.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong political instincts who brings a collaborative approach to their work. You will have policy and research experience in human rights, or a related field. You will have a strong understanding of how to secure policy change in challenging political environments.
You will have a strong commitment to Liberty’s anti-oppression values and strategy.

About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in two of our schools in Hornsey and East Finchley, London. If there is a possibility to extend contract beyond the fixed term, this may include a move to a different school/programme.

Role responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.
You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.
You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice helps babies, children and young people who are seriously unwell, and their families, make the most of every day. The charity aspires to become a centre of clinical excellence for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
We’ve been on a major upward trajectory in recent years, with more children being supported, more major hospitals being partnered with and more supporters donating. We’ve transformed from being an enthusiastic start-up delivering care in the community, to a serious player delivering major impact both in the community and at our state-of-the-art hospice building, The Ark, opened in 2019.
Philanthropy, which covers Grants, Trusts & Foundations and Major Donor fundraising streams, is pivotal to Noah’s Ark, typically accounting for around 50% of the charity’s voluntary income. This is an area of real expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further refining. The successful candidate will therefore enjoy opportunities to manage and add to an exciting portfolio and gain further training and support, working as part of a high-performing and super supportive team, ready for its next exciting growth phase.
The Philanthropy Officer will work closely with and report to the Grants, Trusts & Foundations Manager and Head of Philanthropy to develop the Trust and Major Donor pipelines, along with instrumental cross-team work on applications and reporting processes for other income streams. Whilst we work towards developing a more diverse funding model and navigate changes to the external Trust and HNWI environments, sustaining and growing income from both of these income steams will remain vital.
The post-holder will be key in taking the Trust and Major Donor programmes to the next level, securing new grants, building relationships, increasing multi-year gifts and improving both quality and volume of applications. They will also support the Grants, Trusts & Foundations Manager, and the wider team, to the same end with their respective portfolios.

We are looking for a dynamic Programme Manager. The post-holder will play a key role in managing specific programme and partnership activities in partnership countries such as the Gambia, Kenya and Sierra Leone as well as project management, monitoring and reporting for our cross-partnerships strategic project on strengthening health systems through strengthened postgraduate medical education of health worker.
The post-holder will also support the design and management of new programmes, working closely with the KGHP Director, Head of Programmes, Partnership Leads, Advisors and with our partners.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape innovative and impactful health systems strengthening programme, rooted in strong local partnerships.
Based in the UK, this role may require line management support to in-country coordinators/UK based Programme Officer(s).The role will require travel for 1 week at a time to monitor projects abroad to our projects/ partnership countries, totalling no more than three times a year.

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per year
Contract Type: Fixed term for 24 months, with possible scope to extend subject to budget considerations
Location: UK (minimum 2 days per week in the London office)

Reporting To: Chief of Staff (Executive Office), with regular contact with the CEO

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EXECUTIVE SUPPORT TO THE CEO (70%)
Provide high-quality, proactive executive support to the CEO, ensuring they are able to operate effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Manage the CEO’s complex and evolving diary, including scheduling internal and external meetings, prioritising requests, anticipating conflicts, and ensuring time is protected for strategic priorities.
Coordinate all CEO travel and logistics, including itineraries, briefings, and expense processing, ensuring a seamless and well-prepared experience.
Act as a trusted first point of contact for the CEO, handling enquiries with discretion and professionalism and ensuring timely, high-quality communication with internal and external stakeholders.
GOVERNANCE AND SENIOR LEADERSHIP COORDINATION (15%)
Support the effective functioning of Mission 44’s Board and governance cycle, working closely with the Chief of Staff to coordinate Board and Committee meetings throughout the year.
Manage end-to-end logistics for Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling, circulation of papers, and maintaining a forward planner for the governance calendar.
Support the preparation and circulation of high-quality Board materials, ensuring papers are accurate, timely, and clearly presented.
DELIVERY, CULTURE AND ORGANISATIONAL IMPACT (15%)
Play a hands-on role in delivering the smooth and effective operation of the Executive Office, coordinating meetings and supporting priorities to be executed to a high standard and on time.
Track actions and decisions arising from Board, SLT, and Executive Office meetings, following up with owners to support delivery and accountability across the organisation.
Contribute to the delivery of key organisational moments, such as team and SLT away days and Board meetings, supporting planning, logistics, and on-the-day execution.
Actively contribute to a positive, values-led culture by modelling professionalism, collaboration, and a delivery-focused mindset within the Executive Office and beyond.
ESSENTIAL
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest levels of integrity, judgement, and discretion.
Proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to anticipate needs, spot issues, and take initiative.
Proven experience of maintaining high-quality output whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and confidently with senior leaders, trustees, partners, and external stakeholders, sometimes on behalf of the CEO.
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering work to a consistently high standard.

DESIRABLE
Proven experience providing high-quality executive support in a fast-paced, high-trust environment.
Experience supporting Board and Committee processes, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and action tracking.
Familiarity with governance requirements and best practice in a charity or non-profit context.
Experience supporting a CEO, senior executive, or Board in a charity, foundation, or mission-led organisation.
Experience working in a small or growing organisation, with the flexibility to adapt as priorities evolve.
Experience using Google Workspace and CRM tools.

About the role
We’re looking for a senior digital marketing officer – email to deliver high performing email campaigns and automations to support the charity’s activity. You’ll work autonomously and collaboratively with all teams across Breast Cancer Now to deliver and improve our email marketing.
You’ll be working to optimise engagement of our communications, as well as the supporter experience of those receiving them.
Line managing the email digital marketing coordinator – email, you’ll support their development and maintain positive close working relationships across the charity.
About you
You’ll have a high level of email experience and technical knowledge of relevant email platforms (ideally Adestra) and delivering complex email campaigns and projects.
You’ll be passionate about delivering the best email experience and engagement and understand best practices and the importance of data and testing.
