About the role
You’ll be the main contact for the national training team providing support directly to kinship carers, training facilitators and others relating to the access and delivery of training events and workshops.
You’ll provide professional and effective administrative and technical support to training operations, including co-ordinating logistics, publishing event details, administrating the back-end data, supplier communication, financial administration and attending in person and online events to ensure smooth delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Training event coordination
- Provide administrative support, including supplier communication, coordinating logistics and delivery of all relevant general and financial administration tasks

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to coordinate and confirm event logistics for in-person and online events.

Identify and secure appropriate organisations to exhibit as part of Roadshow marketplace events, providing in event hosting of these organisations.

Source and secure venues and catering that meet event requirements for all in-person training events.

Provide administrative, practical and technical support at training events both online and in-person.

Act as central point for Zoom set-up, licenses and queries for team, kinship carers and external partners.
Systems and processes coordination

Monitor planned expenditure to ensure it is in line with event budgets.

Ensure invoicing and payments are accurate and processed to time.

Support the monitoring and reporting on training activity via our Salesforce database, including providing data reports as required.

Support the production, update, distribution and quality assurance of workshop materials and ensure all collateral is on brand, signed off as required.

Develop and maintain an asset register of all training materials and equipment, ensuring availability when and where it is needed.

Act as website champion for the team, managing and uploading all training content (workshop and events) and ensuring online training information is kept up to date.

Provide support to the training team as required including to assist service improvements and supporting manualisation and documentation of all processes

Set up and implement effective tools and documentation to support all operational needs of the training service.

As a Wilder Learning Officer, you’ll help shape and deliver an inspiring programme of outdoor learning, training and engagement that connects people of all ages with nature across Sussex. You’ll coordinate and deliver high‑quality sessions to teachers and children across EYFS, Primary and Secondary phases, in-school and outdoor settings. As Charity Officer, you will directly support our venues based at Mill Green Golf Club, The Arkley 9 Golf Club, and Ansty Golf Club, with a main presence at Mill Green and The Arkley 9.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Delivery:

You will have significant experience of working in a challenging, fast-paced news and media environment to secure high-profile coverage. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience of working with the media to help secure policy change at a national government level, demonstrate ability to secure high profile consumer media to support income generation and have proven experience when it comes to handling reputational risk. BACKGROUND
The Alan Turing Institute launched its first Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy in September 2021. This strategy provides a framework and action plan to direct the Turing’s work in the area of EDI and follows on the progress made by our EDI Working Groups.
We are seeking a Widening Access and Outreach Manager. The role holder will join the Culture and Learning Team within the People Directorate and will report into the EDI Strategic Lead. The role will involve working closely with our Defence and Security programme and partners.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The Widening Access and Outreach Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering a widening participation careers project within defence and security. The project targets activities for children, young people and undergraduates including summer schools, internships and school and university presentations. The project aims to increase awareness, understanding and connection to defence and security data science careers from groups previously underrepresented in these roles. The project will involve working closely with the Turing’s Defence and Security Partners and other organisations to deliver a range of activities aimed at increasing the diversity of those taking up data science careers in the defence and security field. This role will have line management responsibilities as well as supervise the facilitators working on the project.
DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Manage the delivery of the Defence and Security Data Science Careers projects. This includes summer schools and career talks in locations across the UK and an undergraduate careers programme.
- Prioritizing safeguarding and health and safety at all stages of development and delivery.
- Scope and shape additional opportunities for engagement aligning work strategically to the goals of The Institute.
- Manage multiple stakeholders, including the Turing’s Defence and Security Partners and youth delivery partner(s) to ensure stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, pastoral and safeguarding support of participants. This will include under 18s and undergraduates.
- Drive curriculum development incorporating Human-Centred Design (UCD/HCD) to ensure programs are relevant, engaging, and audience appropriate.
- Lead the end-to-end curriculum design and content creation process, including quality assurance and iterative review. This involves collaboratively engaging internal peer experts (e.g., from Defence and Security) and managing project volunteers to translate complex scientific research into vibrant, age-appropriate project topics and educational materials for school-age learners.
- Lead the development and execution of an audience-informed project communications strategy. This includes direct collaboration with the Communications team to create and deploy effective advertising and engagement materials.
Due to the nature of this role, key delivery periods take place during school holidays (including the summer period). During these times, some unsocial hours may be required and annual leave may be restricted. Time off in lieu will be provided in line with company policy. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This full-time post is offered on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2027. The annual salary is £54,612-£58,000 plus excellent benefits, including flexible working and family friendly policies.

Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, this newly created role offers the chance to support the delivery of our new Fundraising and Partnership Strategy (2025–2029) by helping to grow our community of supporters, increase individual digital giving and deepen engagement with corporate partners. We also welcome your ideas and experience in developing how we might approach digital fundraising.
Working closely with the Director of Partnerships, this role will lead on community fundraising development and provide hands-on coordination of partnership activities, from employee volunteering and group sessions to corporate fundraising events and payroll giving. The role will also contribute to communications and marketing content.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships and Engagement

Support the Director of Partnerships in managing and delivering high-quality partnership activities, including:

Plan, deliver and evaluate a calendar of community fundraising activities and events (third party) to build NHP’s supporter base, ensuring income and engagement targets are met. (We plan to have 2 community fundraising events a year, and support those our corporate partners organise).

Recruit, brief and support challenge event participants, fundraisers and corporate teams undertaking community activities.

Develop toolkits and resources to empower supporters (fundraising packs, JustGiving Guides and risk assessments)

Support the Business Support Administrator to manage the stock, ordering and distribution of fundraising materials to ensure event participants are equipped and engaged.

Support the Director of Partnerships to lead the event logistics (registrations, supplier liaison, risk assessments, volunteer coordination, on the day delivery and post event follow up)

Provide guidance, resources, and encouragement to individuals and groups fundraising on behalf of NHP.

The role

We’re looking for a Healthcare Improvement Officer to join our Improvement Programmes Team and help us deliver exciting initiatives that support healthcare professionals to improve prostate cancer services across the UK. As Healthcare Improvement Officer, you’ll play a central role in making sure our programmes run smoothly and have maximum impact. You’ll oversee on the logistics and delivery of events across the UK and online, from our Clinical Champions Programme and Clinical Advisory Group meetings to our annual healthcare professional conference. You’ll also oversee recruitment for programmes, manage databases and monitoring systems, and handle financial processes such as invoices and purchase orders, ensuring everything is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Your work will range from planning and scheduling programmes, to procuring resources, preparing materials and helping to facilitate sessions so that participants are fully supported in their learning. You’ll also contribute to quality improvement project development and coordination, working with teams across Prostate Cancer UK to share good practice and expand the reach of our initiatives.
Engagement will be a key part of your role, from maintaining webpages and digital channels to supporting our alumni network through newsletters, communications and opportunities for continued involvement. What we want from you
We’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, comfortable working with people and able to keep several projects moving at once. Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences, from clinicians to colleagues across the organisation.
You’ll bring experience in event planning and support, along with project coordination, and you’ll be comfortable managing webpages and creating online content. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, colleagues and senior leaders, so collaboration will be second nature to you.
An understanding of the healthcare and/or charity sectors will be valuable, as will experience in presenting and facilitating discussions. You’ll also need excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively when things get busy.
