Looking to improve life after brain injury for the 150,000 people and their families admitted to hospital each year with a brain injury? Then why not join Headway as our Services Co-ordinator? In this role you will take the lead on vital Headway UK projects and work alongside colleagues in the wider Services Department to help support our key front-line services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As Services Coordinator, you will take the lead on three of Headway UK’s vital services. You will be responsible for processing applications to our Emergency Fund, which provides travel and accommodation grants to family members, to support them to be at the bedside of loved ones, when their family member is in hospital, after acquiring a brain injury. Your role will include making recommendations for funding, signposting applicants onto other organisations, keeping detailed records and producing basic financial reports to highlight the Emergency Funds’ position throughout the year.
You will also lead the annual renewal of the Headway UK’s Solicitor’s Directory, ensuring it remains a vital resource for those seeking specialist solicitors with experience in handling brain injury cases.
You will support the delivery of Headway UK’s training programme through effective administrative support, including managing the training mailbox, responding to enquiries, distributing certificates, and liaising with delegates and associate trainers.
You will work alongside colleagues within the wider Services Department to provide exceptional administrative support
On occasion you will also be required to work with the Project Lead for Brain Injury Identity Cards and assist with processing Brain Injury Identity Card applications.

Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.
In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home.
To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Head of Fundraising role. You will lead and work closely with the Trusts & Foundations Officer, Sponsorship & Individual Giving Officer and Community & Events Fundraiser to deliver an annual income target of £400K+.

The Head of Fundraising is a senior leadership role with overall accountability for the strategic development, operational effectiveness and performance of all fundraising activity at Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW).
The role will drive, lead and grow our fundraising strategy and has responsibility for developing diverse, sustainable income streams and building strong relationships with supporters, partners, and funders.
The role holds end‑to‑end accountability for income delivery across trusts and foundations, community and event fundraising, and sponsorship and individual giving.

Join a well-established charity team in London and play a key role in growing and nurturing individual donor support. This is a fixed-term opportunity where you’ll immediately contribute to live campaigns, with the potential to move into a longer-term role. You’ll use your marketing skills to strengthen donor relationships and drive income through targeted individual giving activity.
About the Role:
You will support the planning, delivery, and optimisation of individual giving campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels over an initial 3-month contract, with possible temp-to-perm employment. Working closely with fundraising and data teams, you’ll help ensure campaigns are insight-led, donor-focused, and aligned to income targets. Your work will directly impact donor retention, acquisition, and overall supporter engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver individual giving campaigns across mail, email, and digital channels to agreed timelines and budgets.
* Create and adapt compelling copy and content for fundraising appeals, newsletters, and supporter journeys.
* Coordinate campaign production, including briefing designers, liaising with external suppliers, and managing approvals.
* Set up and schedule email and digital campaigns, ensuring accurate segmentation and personalisation.
* Monitor campaign performance using data and analytics tools, producing clear reports and recommendations.
* Support donor stewardship activity, including tailored communications to improve retention and lifetime value.
* Maintain accurate campaign records and supporter information in relevant databases and tracking tools.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with wider fundraising activity.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in individual giving or direct marketing within a charity or similar fundraising environment.
* Proven track record in planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns (mail, email, digital) to drive response and income.
* Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences.
* Confident using data to segment audiences, inform campaign decisions, and interpret results.
* Proficiency with email marketing platforms and basic digital marketing tools.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in campaign setup, testing, and reporting.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and communicate clearly with stakeholders and suppliers.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in donor relationship management and supporter journeys within a fundraising context.
* Familiarity with CRM or fundraising databases for managing supporter data and campaign selections.
* Understanding of A/B testing and optimisation techniques for direct marketing campaigns.
* Knowledge of charity fundraising regulations and best practice in donor communications.
* Experience producing insight-driven campaign dashboards or visual reports.
Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, or a related discipline.
* Professional qualification in marketing (e.g. CIM or similar) is desirable but not essential.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development in digital or direct marketing is advantageous.
