We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Compliance, Risk and Audit to join the wider Compliance, Audit and Risk team at SIG! You will have the overall responsibility of keeping participants, residents, and staff safe. The team manages the development, monitoring, and reporting of several areas including but not limited to accidents, incidents, and near misses (AINMs), safety reviews, safeguarding, whistleblowing, complaints, policy and procedure, health and safety, internal audit, business continuity planning and data protection.

As The Head of Compliance, Risk and Audit, you are the lynchpin of the wider team, linking strategic vision with solid and accountable implementation. You will be responsible for developing the team in the broad space of compliance as well as in their own areas of specialism, ensuring that a transparent and accountable compliance framework is implemented and embedded in line with regulatory and legislative change.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. At least 2 days per week in central office (Islington) and our services which are in and around London, Brighton & Hove, Kent, Havering, Bedford, Luton, Nottingham, and Liverpool.
The additional 3 days can be worked from home. You may at times be required to visit a service more than 2 times within a week. 

Our Central Office is based a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station, Angel station is a 15 minute walk away

ABOUT YOU

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Line Management and leadership throughout employee lifecycle this includes; Recruitment, Onboarding, Inductions, training, support and supervision, relations, wellbeing support, and other areas.
• Formalise Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to monitor objectives.
• Provide both line management and professional consulting using best available forums and mechanisms, including meetings, support effective teamwork and communication. Facilitate a culture where constructive challenge is welcomed, and conflict is managed supportively in line with relevant policies and procedures.
• Deputise for the Director as required.

Safeguarding, Audit, and Compliance

• Oversee the compliance audits across departments and services, providing support, and follow up with operational teams on a regular basis.
• Oversee the Safeguarding infrastructure, deputising for the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) as necessary. Oversee complaints and other processes and develop these to ensure they are safe, fair, equitable, and fit for purpose.
• Support services with commissioner led quality assurance framework (QAF) inspections and those registered with the CQC to maintain their portfolios and ensure they are ready for inspection at any time to retain their registrations.
• Promote and support a positive whistleblowing culture, assist Champions, People and Culture, managers and the audit and compliance team on concerns raised and ensuring the whistleblower is protected.

Reporting and Analysis

• Attend and develop AINMs review meetings for maximum impact in terms of positive safety culture. Ensure the lessons learned from AINMs reviews, safety reviews, and safeguarding concerns are shared and feedback loops are closed.
• Review the collation and analysis of AINMs and Safeguarding alerts, developing the Audit and Compliance team, as well as other operational teams in reflection and root cause analysis

Data Protection

• Monitor the use of external data protection and compliance partners to ensure we maintain ICO requirements and maintain our Data Security Protection Toolkit Certification.
• Monitor and ensure integrity in document control, policy, and procedures as they are developed, reviewed, and published.
• Understand and support an Information Security infrastructure alongside additional teams in the organisation and support Managers and teams with training and challenges where necessary.

Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position. Please refer to JDPS attached for more info

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in complaints and incident handling, safeguarding, data protection, and audits
• Proven experience in governance systems and structures which can include auditing, risk management, investigations, complaint handling, policy, procedure, and report writing
• Experience and/or ability to coach, develop, and manage direct reports
• Background in health, social care, criminal justice, and/or supported housing systems
• IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, and ability to confidently use and utilise Microsoft programs
• Adequate understanding of the importance and mechanics of document control and writing policy and procedure
• Working knowledge of health and safety processes and procedures
• Ability to write reports in a clear, readable format

Purpose of the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager will implement and help develop a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to the ongoing development of ArtsEd’s profile and reputation and the successful delivery of all our programmes.

Understanding the needs of current and prospective students and pupils and their parents, and being able to identify digital plans and initiatives which will enable ArtsEd to meet both the long and short-term needs is a central aspect of the role.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.

Digital Marketing

• Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
• Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.

• Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.

• Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms

• Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.
• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
• Monitor social media communications (both comments on posts and direct messages) and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.

Design & Brand

• Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.
• Ensure all digital information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
• Ensure ArtsEd embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion through all digital marketing touchpoints.
• Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.
• Ensure all touchpoints communicate ArtsEd visual identity. Working with the wider Marketing team to review and implement ArtsEd brand architecture structure on digital platforms

Graphic Design

• Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
• Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
• Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.

Recruitment

• Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
• Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
• Managing an associated  programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
• Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
• To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
• Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.

Social Media

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
• Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
• Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
• Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.
• Be the expert in understanding movements regarding social networks ensuring ArtsEd has a presence and brand building content on the right platforms.

Website

• Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-
• Ensuring factual content is kept up-to-date, imagery and video is regularly refreshed and that the overall site reflects ArtsEd’s unique offer.
• Identifying opportunities to create and update brand focused content

Market Analysis/Planning

• Review and analysis of data to identify competitor tactics, market trends, new opportunities and challenges.
• Ability to understand different audiences and relevant content to ensure successful conversion rates and enhance the student and stakeholders experience.
• Explore  new methods for collection of data and how this can be used to improve recruitment processes
• Complete quarterly digital impact reports
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Implement regular surveys of students and staff, collecting quantitative and qualitative material to support marketing and communication campaigns.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Consultancy Title: Microsoft Apps Developer for Travel Request Automation

Role Classification: Depending on the nature of services this contract will require the consultant delivering these services to have undertaken Standard or Advanced pre contracting checks

Scope and Nature of Services

Relief International (RI) is a leading nonprofit organization working in 14 countries to relieve poverty, ensure well-being and advance dignity. We specialize in fragile settings, responding to natural disasters, humanitarian crises and chronic poverty. 

RI is seeking proposals from Microsoft App developers to develop an automated Travel Request Form (Lot 1) and Expenses Claim Form (Lot 2) within RIs Microsoft environment. The Forms will need to be able to populate relevant budget code data from RIs finance management system (Oracle Netsuite), use RIs single sign on (SSO) and MS Identity Service (EntraID) and preferably be able to work offline (sync’ing when the user has internet connectivity). Based on the data collected in the forms RI also requires a dashboard of relevant data to be generated using PowerBI (Lot 3).

Developers should bid for both Lot 1 and Lot 2 separately. The fees for Lot 3 (PowerBI) will be agreed with the successful bidder on completion of the initial scope of work related to Lots 1 and 2 and as such no quote is required for Lot 3 in this submission..

RI is open to revising its requirements based on recommendations from a developer where this can improve the functioning of the forms.

RIs IT department will be part of the developer selection process, and will review and sign off on all deliverables prior to any payment.

Lot 1: Travel Request Automation Requirements

A Travel Request (TR) form is to be created in Microsoft (MS) Apps, with an approval workflow automated using MS Automate, and using MS Lists if needed. It will be run on RIs SharePoint, and accessed the RI Sharepoint MyApps page. It can also preferably be used offline, with the data synchronising when a user has internet access. 

Any RI staff can access and create a TR and submit it for approval in the RI MS environment. The fields for the TR are defined in Annex 1. Note that Annex 1 is broadly based on the RI pdf Travel Request form (with some differences), which is available in Annex 5.

Once a TR is submitted for approval it obtains a system generated unique serial number and follows the approval process and subsequent actions as outlined in Annex 2.

Once a TR is approved a traveller receives an approved TR via email, with a link to a form they can save and/or print, which they use to book relevant travel.

Traveller draft and approved TRs will be available for a traveller to access at any time on a dashboard within the RI Microsoft environment that only shows those relevant to the Travellers RI email address.

Lot 2: Expenses Claim Form Automation Requirements

A form is to be created to support Expense Claims and Cash Advance Settlements, called the Expense Report Form (ERF). 

The ERF is to be created in Microsoft (MS) Apps, with an approval workflow automated using MS Automate, and using MS Lists if needed. It will be run on RIs SharePoint, and accessed the RI Sharepoint MyApps page. It can also preferably be used offline, with the data synchronising when a user has internet access. Any RI user with access to RI SharePoint can complete and submit this form. Based on the data collected in the forms RI also requires a dashboard of relevant data to be generated using PowerBI (Lot 3)

Once an ERF is submitted for approval it obtains a system generated unique serial number and follows the approval process and resulting actions as outlined in Annex 4.

Once a TR is approved a traveller receives an approved TR via email, with a link to a form they can save and/or print, which they use to book relevant travel.

Consultant Profile and Submission Requirements

RI is seeking a developer who

• Has significant experience with developing such automations within customer Microsoft systems
• Is registered as a consultant and can provide formal invoices against which payment will be made within 30 days of satisfactory sign off of work by RI

Proposals must include

• The developers CV, showing relevant experience with MS Apps, MS Automate, MS Identity Services, MS Identity Service (EntraID), MS Lists and MS PowerBI, as well as experience with integrating data from other systems (e.g. Oracle Netsuite)
• A supporting letter with
  • a fixed price cost for Lot 1 and Lot 2 separately, including any VAT
  • your hourly or daily rate for any additional work related to Lot 3
  • examples of similar work completed in the past 2 years
  • a proposed timeline for the work, which must include
    • at least 1 detailed scoping session with relevant RI staff to finalise the requirements
    • at least 2 review cycles by RI staff to ensure the final product meets RIs needs.

The Amber Trust provides musical opportunities for blind and partially sighted children, including those with additional disabilities, via its Music Awards and Music Services.

Amber Music Awards fund instrumental and singing lessons, the purchase of musical instruments and specialist software, funding for concert tickets, and travel to musical activities for vision impaired children throughout the UK. In addition, there are structured programmes in its Music Services.

‘Little Amber’ is a service that offers music resources and quarterly sessions with a specially trained music practitioner to children under five and their families. ‘AmberPlus’ provides music resources and sessions offered on a termly basis to children over five who also have complex needs.’ ‘With Music in Mind’ is a new service for visually impaired children and young people with life-limiting neurodegenerative disease. Amber’s workshop scheme offers music sessions for groups of children in schools, charities and community organisations.

We have also developed extensive online music resources for teachers that are freely downloadable from anywhere in the world.

The Charity has a turnover of around £400k, employs a small central administrative team, and, for the music services, works through a large network of self-employed practitioners.

 Role purpose

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible to the Board of Trustees for leading The Amber Trust, developing and realising Amber’s vision and strategy, and playing a key ambassadorial role with funders and other senior stakeholders. The CEO is responsible for the management of the charity and its staff and the execution of Amber’s targets, plans and policies, ensuring that resources are used to best effect in meeting the needs of beneficiaries. The CEO is responsible for initiating and overseeing new initiatives that will ensure Amber plays a leading role in the field of music and blindness in children and young people into the future.

Role Description

Accountabilities: To develop, lead and manage The Amber Trust, in particular:

 Strategy

•      to develop and deliver innovative projects and services in accordance with Amber’s strategy.

• to ensure Amber flourishes, meeting all its charitable objectives and its legal obligations as a charity and a company limited by guarantee, and to honour its duty of care to its staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders;

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the following essential requirements:

Role: Poppy Appeal Manager

Location: North East London

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 35 Hours, Monday to Friday

Salary: £32,910 to £36,072 (Inclusive of London Supplement)

Are you looking to ensure the success of this unique initiative for the Royal British Legion as a  Poppy Appeal Manager?

As the Poppy Appeal Manager in North East London, your main role is to achieve income, expenditure, and contribution targets, ensuring the success of the appeal. Collaborating with the Regional Poppy Appeal Manager, you will create and manage an income and expenditure budget, providing monthly commentary. Your responsibilities include to coordinating local supporters, partners, and volunteers, building relationships to maximise fundraising potential.

Relationship management plays a crucial role, where you'll oversee a portfolio of regional corporate partnerships and collaborate with internal departments to achieve collective goals. Effective communication skills are key, enabling you to engage with supporters and stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved.

A distinctive aspect of this role lies in the unique Poppy Appeal activity. Beyond managing relationships and budgets, you'll recruit and induct new Poppy Appeal Organisers, ensuring they have the tools and resources for success. Planning and coordinating the Poppy Appeal launch, including PR and media activities, contribute to the appeal's overall impact.

Your role also involves representing Royal British Legion locally, engaging in outreach activities, and providing updates to key stakeholders. Flexibility is essential, as some evenings, weekends, and overnight stays may be required. The successful candidate will embody the values of the Royal British Legion, demonstrating empathy with its mission and objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess commercial knowledge, financial management skills, and experience in supporter relationship management. Strong planning, organizational, and IT skills are necessary, as is the ability to assess the commercial implications of decisions. The role demands a team player who can engage with diverse client groups, showcasing effective communication skills both in writing and verbally.

You will be expected to travel regularly in the course of your work including regularly round North East London. This is a newly created role and there is a great deal of untapped potential here for a proactive leader to support the CEO and SLT to create efficiencies in how we manage our internal infrastructure (IT Systems and processes), Finance and charity Governance, and HR/people to ensure we maintain and develop a thriving and nurturing working environment. The individual will have significant involvement in the strategic vision of the organisation as a whole. With a broad portfolio, the role combines both operational and strategic elements and must be able to flex up and down accordingly. 

As our Senior Operations Officer, working closely with the Head of Operations, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of our organisational operations. The remit of the role covers a wide range of functions including senior officer responsibility for ICT systems, office management, building management, and also contributing to Quartet’s strategy in response to carbon reductions and equality, diversity and inclusion.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous relevant ICT experience, operational experience of supporting a team in an office environment – preferably for a charity or not for profit organisation – and will have the necessary skills to work both practically and professionally with staff and trustees, tenants, and other third parties to deliver the best possible operational delivery across Quartet’s varied services.

Highlights of the role:

• Permanent Full Time Contract: 35 hrs per week
• Salary: circa. £33,000 per annum.
• 25 days annual leave, plus all public holidays, and 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year
