Overall job purpose
Sudbury Arts Centre is seeking a dedicated Hospitality & Facilities Assistant to support the smooth operation of our cafe/bar, to ensure the venue is clean and presentable, and to support setting up and breaking down of tables, chairs and staging on an event-by-event basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our cafe/bar runs efficiently during events, workshops, and other activities hosted at the Sudbury Arts Centre. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to meeting the needs of those using the cafe. The position includes working flexibly as required, including evening and weekends.
About Sudbury Arts Centre: Located in Sudbury, Sudbury Arts Centre hosts various events, exhibitions, workshops, and performances, fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment for the community. The Philharmonia is looking to appoint an experienced and inspiring Head of Education & Community Engagement to lead on the day to day running of learning projects, with a firm focus on developing and growing this work. Strategic Planning:

This is a key role for an organised and accurate administrator with strong attention to detail to support the Fundraising Team across a broad portfolio - from community and challenge to philanthropy – with a focus on stewarding our dedicated in-memory supporters.

OVERVIEW OF THE POST
The Youth & Communities Programme Manager provides leadership and management for the youth & communities team and their programme of work, driving quality delivery and growth.

About the opportunity
We're in a fantastic position to have recently have partnered with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) for an evaluation of our programmes.
We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Bristol. The role will also oversee our partner schools in Dorset remotely, with infrequent travel to Dorset.
- The Bristol Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
- The Bristol Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.

What’s the job?
In this exciting and varied role, you will take the lead in delivering commercial marketing initiatives that add real value to both students’ unions and our supplier partners. Working within the Commercial Development team, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing the activity against brand development programmes across key sectors including retail, catering, and licensed trade. Department/Service:
The finance department is responsible for the overall financial management and administration of the 4million turnover at GSU. The department plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, including HMRC, Charities Commission, Companies House, and pensions. This includes supporting our annual external financial audit.
The finance team act as Business Partners to the rest of the organisation ensuring they understand financial processes to aid effective working. The team also work alongside our external payroll provider and our external digital system provider to ensure smooth and effective working.
Job Purpose:
Provide a professional, accurate, and timely accounting service in respect to all management and statutory reporting. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external support services to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance department, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
Reports to:
- Currently reporting to the CEO whilst the senior management role in the Finance Department is under review. The senior management post is currently vacant.
Responsible for:
- Supporting, managing, supervising, and developing one Finance Coordinator and one Finance Assistant.
- Temporary Interns and/or student staff supporting the Finance team as required
Duties and Key Responsibilities
1. Management and Statutory Reporting:
- Prepare accurate management accounts on a timely basis each month.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly, including accruals and prepayments.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, including VAT Returns, Companies House, and Charities Commission Annual Returns.
- Support the preparation of the annual accounts for the external financial audit and play an instrumental role during the audit process.
- Reconcile GSU bank accounts including PayPal online accounts weekly and monthly.
- Reconcile Commercial Income to Bank Accounts producing weekly sales and analysis reports.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cashflow Statements:
- Support in the preparation of the annual budget and reforecasts.
- Create forecast reports and statements as and when required.
- Produce monthly and annual cashflow and liquidity statements.
3. Business Partnering and Collaboration:
- Act as a business partner to all GSU staff members, providing financial insights and support to meet organisational goals.
- Work alongside external support services (e.g., payroll providers and digital finance systems) to ensure smooth operations and excellence in the Finance department.
- Collaborate with external auditors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective financial management.
4. Managing and Supervisory Duties:
- Supervise and support the professional development of two GSU finance staff members.

5. Digital Systems and Processes:

6. General Finance Department Duties:
- Oversee and assist with sales ledger, purchase ledger, and payroll functions as needed.
- Support the Finance Coordinator and Finance Assistant to issue and maintain records of purchase orders and associated invoices.
- Support the Finance Coordinator and Finance Assistant to maintain and post all petty cash transactions.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and information for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Trustee Board, and other stakeholders as required.

The purpose of the role
The Mass Market team’s mission is to inspire the UK public to financially support the IRC to help people impacted by conflict and disaster. The purpose of this role is to support the Director, Mass Markets by implementing the Retention strategy in order to generate long-term sustainable growth, cultivate a loyal and engaged donor base and maximise net revenue.
As Retention Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for annual operational planning and delivery across for the retention programme, including for emergency appeals. You will work closely with the Director, Mass Markets to create and manage significant annual budgets, ensuring return on investment is maximised at all times. Supported by the Retention Marketing Executive, you will oversee all campaign activity, ensuring that it meets the strategic objectives and financial goals of the department.

Key accountabilities
Strategy and planning
- Support the Director, Mass Markets in the development and delivery of the retention strategy and priorities
- Identify, scope and deliver new and innovative opportunities that advance the retention strategy
- Manage retention operational planning, including leading annual, quarterly and monthly planning sessions, defining key deliverables and ensuring all activity supports the aims of the retention strategy

What we are looking for:
· Proven experience in developing and delivering comprehensive social media strategic plans within a complex organisation.
· Extensive experience in managing social media functions across multiple platforms, with a strong understanding of platform-specific nuances and best practices.
· Expertise in social media listening, data analysis, and reporting, with the ability to derive actionable insights to inform strategy and optimisation.
· Experience in managing and optimising social media management platforms and analytics tools.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and senior stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at the highest levels.
· Experience in developing and delivering social media training and upskilling initiatives for non-specialist teams

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.
