This year, we’ve embarked on introducing a bold, exciting new operating model and structure to improve our services and support to help everyone affected by MS.
We’re making it easier for people who use our services to find and connect to the support they need. And we're looking at ways to make our support more accessible and personalised to meet people’s individual needs, no matter where they are on their MS journey.
We’re creating services that are flexible so that, when someone's circumstance changes, we’ll change too. As demand for our services grows, we’ll always be ready to support everyone who needs our help.
Our new structure and our new ways of working will bring all of these services together under one delivery model launching next year. We're creating a new virtual support hub to bring together everything our community needs to manage their MS or support and care for someone living with MS.
Our Services Delivery team are responsible for: virtual support hub, community support teams, service comms and engagement
Our Director of Services Delivery will be:
- providing strategic direction and leadership to our Service Delivery function, spanning services such as a helpline, digital and remote, and community engagement
 - taking overall responsibility for and providing thought-leadership to our strategic approach for all national and community service delivery, as well as our engagement and comms across our Services and Support
 - ensuring our Services and Support are delivered to a consistently high standard and be accountable for the performance of our services in our Live Well activity.
 - using evidence and insights, development and delivery of a UK-wide Service Delivery and Development strategy that ensures our services achieve maximum reach and impact, responding to the evolving needs and priorities of people with MS, and their families and carers.
 - leading ongoing development and continuous improvement of MS Society’s service delivery operating model, responding to evolving needs and external environment to drive cultural change and inspiring staff and volunteers.
 - leading by example, encouraging and role modelling transparency, learning from failure, reducing complexity, user centricity, collaborating, and seeking feedback and ideas from all

- substantial experience in Senior Leadership/Departmental Management roles, with the ability to manage large teams at all levels.

 - able to provide sector-leading thought-leadership and strategic expertise within Service Delivery of similar type services and scale.
 - proven analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions and improve services through development and embedding of strategic transformation.

About Sitopia Farm:
Sitopia Farm is a modern, urban farm located in Greenwich, SE London, dedicated to reconnecting people with the origins of their food and promoting a healthier, more equitable and sustainable food system. As a hub for community engagement, education, and regenerative, organic farming practices, Sitopia Farm is a space for cultivating not only crops but also ideas about a better future for food and farming.
We have been successful to date in raising money for our farm including through crowdfunding, grants and other sources, but are embarking on the next stage in our development: an ambitious project to raise £650,000 to build an eco-barn: a sustainable structure that will serve as the heart of our operations. This transformative project will significantly enhance our productivity as well as our ability to serve the community and promote sustainability.
This is a largely remote working job with occasional visits to Sitopia Farm, Greenwich, London.
Role Overview:
Sitopia Farm is seeking a part-time freelance Fundraising Consultant to lead all aspects of fundraising, with a specific focus on securing the £650,000 needed for our eco-barn project. This is a critical role that offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping us bring this vision to life. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fundraising strategy, grant writing, major donor engagement, and ideally an understanding of capital campaigns. We have had a strong track record in securing smaller amounts of funding to date and have a strong network and potential opportunities that this role could capitalise on.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy principally to secure c. £650,000 for the eco-barn project and support and develop fundraising for other farm activities as required.
 - Identify and pursue diverse funding streams, including grants, corporate sponsorships, major donors, as well as crowdfunding and events.
 
2. Grant Writing and Proposal Development
- Research and apply for grants from trusts, foundations, and public funding bodies.
 - Write compelling funding proposals tailored to funders’ priorities and ensure timely submission.
 
3. Major Donor and Corporate Engagement
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
 - Develop tailored donor engagement plans, including pitches and impact reports.
 
4. Campaigns and Events
- Plan and execute an innovative fundraising campaign to raise awareness and funds for the eco-barn project.
 - Work in partnership with external event advisers and in collaboration with the wider Sitopia Farm team to create successful fundraising events.
 - Collaborate with the Sitopia Farm team to create engaging content and materials.
 
5. Project Management and Reporting
- Track and monitor fundraising progress against targets, providing regular updates to the team.
 - Ensure compliance with funders’ requirements and support the Sitopia Farm team to deliver impact reports as needed.
 
Essential:
- Proven track record of leading successful fundraising initiatives, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
 - Excellent skills in a range of fundraising techniques, in particular major donors, trusts and foundations.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in building relationships with donors, businesses, and stakeholders.
 - Strong understanding of the UK fundraising landscape, fundraising regulation and code of practice.
 - Strong organisational skills- capable of managing multiple income streams with strong attention to detail and great record-keeping and project management.
 - Ability to work independently and drive results in a part-time, freelance capacity.
 
Desirable:
- Passion for sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and community-building projects.
 - Experience of fundraising for a capital project.
 - Experience of event and campaign management/ ability to work with others to deliver those aspects of the strategy.
 - Knowledge of AI tools to enhance efficiency of fundraising.

About The Role
We are recruiting for a Direct Response Marketing Officer to join on a full-time, permanent contract, working 35 hours per week.
As Direct Response Marketing Officer you will manage and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns, driving participation for our sports, challenge, and mass event program. By working with different teams across the organisation and our media agency and external stakeholders, you will brief, optimise and evaluate marketing campaigns.
You will monitor the results of communications, make recommendations to help inform and improve future campaigns and provide timely and accurate updates on key campaign metrics to senior stakeholders.
Every day will be different, for example, the role can include writing compelling marketing copy for a campaign, working with internal and external designers to develop creative ideas, or producing a post-campaign report.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have experience of planning, developing and delivering paid, multi-channel marketing campaigns. You’ll have experience of managing day-to-day relationships with suppliers and agencies and you’ll be able to brief internal teams or external suppliers on print, copy, design or market research requirements.
Crucially for this role, you’ll be able to stay organised and prioritise effectively while juggling multiple tasks or conflicting deadlines. You’ll also understand budgets, financial management and reporting and you’ll be able to monitor, collect and analyse data to make decisions and recommendations.

- Planning, developing and executing event marketing campaigns for Alzheimer’s Society fundraising events.
- Leading on the development and implementation of events marketing across a range of channels, including but not limited to TV, Radio, Digital (including social media), Direct Mail, Door Drops, email and SMS.
- Overseeing part of the events budget, including monitoring spend and monthly reporting.

At Friends of PICU, we’re dedicated to supporting the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Southampton, funding lifesaving equipment, providing family support, and enhancing care for critically ill and injured children. We’re looking for a Community and Events Fundraiser to lead and grow our community and events fundraising activities, inspire supporters, and make a lasting impact for families when they need it most.
The Role
As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you’ll be the driving force behind our community and event fundraising. You’ll build relationships with existing and new supporters, community groups, and corporate partners developing opportunities to raise income and awareness for Friends of PICU.
Working closely with our Operations Manager, you’ll deliver an annual calendar of exciting fundraising events, from local community challenges to large-scale campaigns, ensuring each activity connects people to our mission and delivers excellent supporter experiences.

At the British Heart Foundation (BHF), we believe survival from cardiac arrest shouldn’t depend on your postcode. That’s why our Community Resuscitation work focuses on delivering two impactful programmes—CPR training and community defibrillator funding—to reach people wherever they live.
As our Community Resuscitation Programme Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of these lifesaving programmes. You’ll help ensure our processes run smoothly, applications are managed efficiently, and our customers receive the best possible experience. From handling funding applications and responding to enquiries, to working with suppliers and internal teams, you’ll help place defibrillators in areas of greatest need and support the rollout of digital CPR training.
You’ll act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, gathering insights to improve our services and representing the programme in cross-organisational meetings. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact and support BHF’s mission to improve survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.
About you
You’ll be a proactive and organised individual with a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for delivering excellent service. You’ll thrive in a busy environment and enjoy working collaboratively to support impactful programmes.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in administration and customer service, with confidence handling a wide range of enquiries
 - Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a good understanding of finance processes such as purchase orders and invoices
 - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
 - A customer-focused approach, with the ability to interpret and respond to different needs
 - Experience working across diverse programmes and with a range of stakeholders
 - A willingness to learn new skills and build knowledge of Community Resuscitation and wider BHF activity
 - The ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
 
Working arrangements
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London (NW1 7AW) Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
