Contract Type:  This is a 12 month fixed-term, part time role working 21 hours per week. The full time salary is £30,224 per annum. The part time salary is £18,134 per annum. The working pattern will be agreed with the line manager.

The structure of the team is set up to support the ongoing progression and growth of its members along the key verticals of Press, Website, Design and Outbound. We are looking for someone to support our Outbound communications (video production and development, supporter engagement, and design), as well as offering support across the verticals. The incoming Communications Officer should feel confident with engaging and supporting people to appear on video.

The successful applicant will have experience of these functions and will need to be a quick learner. They will have a can-do attitude with solid technical know-how and be reliable. Attention to detail is critical, alongside flexibility to evolving demands.

A confident communicator, they will be a self-starter with excellent prioritisation and time management and enjoy working in a highly collaborative setting. Key responsibilities and duties

The role will be diverse and varied. No two days nor two emails are the same! Key responsibilities will include:

· Engaging audiences through compelling content across communications channels, including our website, video, social media.

· Researching, writing and supplying communications materials in response to briefs from the department Head.

· Working with project Leads to promote outcomes, findings and impact across our various channels.

· Supporting Gypsy, Roma or Traveller people to cut through digital noise, via public-focused opportunities such as guest blogs or video.

· Working to maximise the impact of our communications strategies, and operational plans.

· Maintaining and updating digital content from evergreen pages to news items, as and when appropriate.

· Developing and producing short-form video content, along with other Adobe-based outputs.

· Other such duties as are reasonably appropriate to the job.

Key Responsibilities

Azure

• Provide global strategic leadership for the design, optimization, and lifecycle management of Azure core infrastructure across ODI and affiliates, ensuring cost efficiency, security, and compliance.
• Lead the design, deployment, maintenance and backup of Azure and M365 environments.
• Lead in state-of-the-art technologies such as infrastructure as code, AI, secure trusted technical relationships, and remote site management.
• Strengthen and maintain global infrastructure security posture across all environments.
• Lead automation initiatives using tools like PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform, and Power Automate to improve efficiency.
• Architect and implement global monitoring and alerting systems to enhance service reliability, cost effectiveness, response times, and customer satisfaction across all critical IT services.
• Provide 2nd/3rd line support when needed for the first line team and out of hours support for critical infrastructure incidents.

Organisational Engagement

• Engage with stakeholders, sharing information and working together to provide a technical environment that is unified in security and collaboration.
• Take an active lead with project managers, stakeholders and end users in the implementation of projects.

Key Competencies, skills and experience

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in IT or similar area preferably Masters or similar Microsoft Certifications.
• Minimum recent 5 years of proven experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly networking, databases, data management and architecture, app deployment and performance optimization, but all areas of Azure are of benefit.
• Demonstratable masters level critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a creative, driven, compassionate, Communications Lead to develop, lead, and implement an integrated communications strategy that supports our ambition to double the number of adults learning to read with Read Easy UK by the end of our current strategy.

As a strong communications generalist, with strategic and operational expertise, the Communications Lead will work closely with employees, volunteers and other key stakeholders to strengthen the charity’s national brand and position. This role covers all aspects of communications including media relations, digital communications, brand communications, stakeholder and internal communications.

The post holder will shape and deliver communications activity that inspires, informs, and engages our key audiences, including volunteers, potential Readers, funders, the media, and partners across the UK.

CXK delivers the Steps to Success programme across East Sussex, in partnership with East Sussex County Council.

The Team

The Project Coach will be based within CXK’s Youth Employability Service (YES) and will undertake regular careers-based interventions with young people, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and /or future employment. The coaches’ approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Coach.

You will support a caseload of young people in Year 11, seeing them in their school setting or in the community if they are not attending school. Working across the East of the county, with schools and FE Colleges you will play a key role in ensuring that young people receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. You will build positive working relationships through co-located working, and accurate input into relevant databases.

You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, building trust and ensuring that casework is delivered with care and consistency. Your role will involve assessing needs, action planning, reviewing progress, and adapting support as required.  Also supporting parents/carers to be aware of their young person’s next steps and the opportunities available.

About You

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with young people, especially SEND and Risk of NEET young people, who understands the post-16 education and training landscape and the importance of person-centred support. You will be a confident communicator and collaborator, able to manage your caseload and make a genuine impact on the lives of the young people you support.

The Communications Coordinator will contribute to all aspects of Groundwork UK’s communications activity, with a particular focus on digital communications – including coordinating and contributing to the further development of our social media channels and newsletter outreach.

The post holder will have a flair for copywriting and a key interest in telling Groundwork’s story through the lens of those who Groundwork supports, working closely with Policy and Communications team colleagues on exciting fundraising and positioning campaigns. The Communications Coordinator will work closely with the PR and Communications Manager to contribute towards the continued development of communications needs of new and established grant and delivery programmes, including collaborating with stakeholders in the private and public sector.

The postholder will have responsibility for the day-to-day line management and continued development of the Digital Communications Assistant and an expectation to work collaboratively with Policy and Communications and wider Groundwork colleagues.

Role overview:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, positive and creative communicator to help our small team support and empower people living with a genetic bleeding disorder. 

It might sound obvious, but we need someone who loves communicating - whether that’s chatting to supporters at events, writing engaging content or creating eye-catching social media posts.You’ll immerse yourself in the wide range of work our small charity does and help us maximise its impact.

Your main focus will be on shaping and improving content and engagement on our social media channels, with support from our Digital Marketing and Content Manager, but this is a varied role with lots of opportunities to get involved in a wide range of projects. There’ll also be ample of opportunities to develop your skills and experience – both learning from members of the team and through external training.

Background and purpose

We are the only UK-wide charity for all those affected by a genetic bleeding disorder, a community of individuals and families, healthcare professionals and supporters. 

For more than 75 years we have campaigned for better treatment, been a source of information and advice and supported people living with life-long conditions.

More than 40,000 men, women and children in the UK have a diagnosed bleeding disorder, and the number rises every year. Membership of the Haemophilia Society is free and open to all.

We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer to promote the vision, values and activities of the charity to grow our profile, membership and supporter numbers across the UK.

You will work closely with the small team at the Haemophilia Society to ensure a positive, engaging, consistent, regular and effective programme of communication. 

The Haemophilia Society is a member of the Charity Comms and Charity Digital organisations which offer a range of training opportunities.

Key duties & responsibilities

• Assume the day-to-day running of our social media channels, with support from our Digital Marketing and Content Manager. This includes planning, sourcing and creating content as well as monitoring the channels to ensure comments, queries and feedback is responded to as quickly as possible, liaising with relevant teams where necessary to formulate an agreed response
• Liaising with services, fundraising and public affairs to ensure engaging and informative messaging
• Work with all departments to create content to promote activities, drive member recruitment, fundraising and engagement
• Help to plan, source and create content for our twice-yearly members magazine Community Matters
• Be a guardian of our charity’s tone of voice and ensure it is appropriately used in communications, maintaining consistency and brand awareness 
• Work alongside our infected blood community, assisting with relevant updates
• Keep up to date on best practice within the charity sector and particularly changes to digital communications and codes of practice.

The Head of Philanthropy will lead on day-to-day fundraising across individual giving, memberships, appeals and campaigns for Leeds Playhouse. This role is central to building and sustaining a robust philanthropic programme, with a particular focus on developing a strong pipeline of mid- and high-level donors, cultivating and stewarding High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), and driving engagement through compelling communications and events.

We are seeking an excellent communicator and strategic fundraiser who is creative, resilient, and highly motivated. The Head of Philanthropy will play a key role in shaping and delivering sustainable income growth through individual giving, and major donor engagement—ensuring our work is resourced for the long term.

The post-holder will report to the Strategic Director of Fundraising & Development, deputising as required, and will line manage the Development Administrator. This role is predominantly based at Leeds Playhouse with some scope for hybrid working, complementing the Strategic Director role (a part-time role, mostly working remotely).

This is a permanent, full time contract. We would like to fill a requirement for 35 hours per week, which is full-time for this role, with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required. However, we are open to hearing from people interested in part-time work or job sharing. Pay for the role is £35,700 per year based on 35 hours per week.

Background Information

Spitfire Advice & Support Services (Birmingham) Limited is not-for-profit organisation that offers help, information and support to clients from the most excluded communities.  We are currently funded to deliver our services in Castle Vale Ward and all the Sutton Coldfield post codes. Other funding we have enables the delivery of a number of projects that support our client’s including our Money Advice and Financial inclusion programmes.

Our Money Advice Caseworkers’ support clients who are affected by welfare reforms and have complex welfare benefits and debt issues. The appointee will need to have extensive experience of Legal Services Commission casework in the context of the Advice Quality Standard and will have worked in a target driven environment but who will also understand that people will always be our priority.

Essential Qualifications:

a)Educated to degree or equivalent level or have demonstrable work experience in the delivery of debt and benefit advice.

b)Hold either an IMA (Institute of Money Advisers) qualification or have recent GGDA (Giving Good Debt Advice) training.

Job Purpose

The key purpose of the role is to deliver a first-class specialist debt and money advice service to clients in need of support. ensuring income maximisation for all clients through the take up of appropriate welfare benefits.

We use a digital case managment system which enables hybrid working to function smoothly.

Case Workers Core Duties (extracte from the full Job Description for the role)

a) The delivery to AQS standard of the core Money Advice Service. This may be via telephone, MS Teams, email or face to face

b) The provision of advocacy and court representation at tribunals or other statutory bodies as appropriate.

c) Taking client instructions; this may include but is not limited to; drafting letters/emails to the client and third parties, preparing financial statements and negotiating with third parties.

d) Ensuring income maximisation through the take up of appropriate welfare benefits.

e) Working to targets to ensure that we meet all our contractual obligations.

f) Managing own caseload, opening and closing cases appropriately and carrying out reviews as required by AQS and the Head of Advice

g)  The support, with other team members/volunteers, of the delivery of the service on an outreach basis if required.

h) Maintain accurate case and client records using our digital case management system and for purpose of continuity of client casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring and reporting preparation to AQS standards.

i) Ensuring that all casework meets AQS standards and complies with Money Advice Team Procedural Manual.

j) The maintenance of records and other data ensuring that it is up to date and accurate; either paper records (as required by Tribunal cases) or on our digital casework management system.

k) Ensuring that all confidential information is managed in line with the company’s Confidentiality Policy and GDPR Policy.
