About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Shop Supervisor to make a difference and deliver positive social impact in the local community while also raising money to fund Crisis’ work ending homelessness.

As a Shop Supervisor, you will support the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will play a key role in delivering customer service and supporting volunteers, as well maintaining the look and feel of the shop and processing stock. You will work towards ambitious sales and training targets, maximising the impact on our mission to end homelessness.

This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have significant retail or customer service experience alongside a genuine interest in charity retail. You will be seeking a challenge that stands out from other retail roles and will be looking to build a career in this sector. As a Housing Domestic Abuse Advocate, you will provide intervention, advocacy, and support to survivors of domestic abuse. Working within a fast-paced team, you will help empower women and ensure that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. You will have your own caseload of survivors who hold social tenancies with local authorities or housing associations, and you will encourage them to engage with our service and ensure they have access to support. You will also co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support which focuses on working with domestic abuse survivors to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.

About You:

To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

You will bring solid experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms; coming from a sector with transferrable skills or possess a feminist/VAWG degree and be keen to learn and to train on the job. You will have a good understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families, and communities. You will have proven skills and experience in conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse, including carrying out short risk management and safety planning. We will expect that you have experience in assessing the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have and an understanding of the criminal justice system and relevant legislation with regard to legal and civil options, housing, benefits, matrimonial and children. Lastly you will bring your knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures, and legislation.

With many skills and qualities to add to this role, if you have good IT literacy, data collection and monitoring these skills are maximised in your role. If you have experience or have been trained or are qualified in the fields related to substance misuse, criminal justice, law, social work or domestic abuse we would love to hear from you.

Overseeing the management of caseloads and casework to a high-quality standard and monitoring the performance of your team, offering continuous coaching and feedback to ensure that Advance meets the specific KPIs and outcome measures for the contract, taking immediate action to manage poor performance as necessary.

About You:

To be successful as the Domestic Housing Manager you will need the below experience and skills:

You will bring your management experience of providing services to women experiencing Domestic Violence and Abuse including VAWG. With a significant experience of managing, developing and leading teams across a geographically dispersed region and remotely, including harnessing the strengths and potential of staff at all levels, building a strong team culture and maintaining staff motivation, particularly through periods of change. You will have substantial delivery of collaborative working with external agencies, stakeholders, subcontracted partners and extensive management of frontline workers

The main purpose of the Administrative Assistant is to provide a welcoming
reception to everyone who uses our public spaces and to provide accurate and
timely administrative support to facilitate the efficient running of our services.
By providing effective administrative support, this role will help to ensure that
the charity’s resources are used effectively to support cancer patients across the
region.

Key responsibilities
Reception Duties
 Greet all visitors and service users in a warm, friendly, and empathetic
manner
 Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person queries with
empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality, responding to questions
or concerns and signposting to appropriate services and colleagues
 Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
 Provide refreshments for guests and support hospitality for in-house
events
 Manage appointment bookings and room usage for services, meetings,
and events
 Manage appointment bookings for transport, counselling, therapies,
group activities, and support sessions, ensuring schedules are accurate
and up to date, sending appointment reminder calls/texts/letters to
clients as required.
 Coordinate volunteer transport driver and freelance therapist schedules
 Liaise effectively with staff, volunteers, therapists, and healthcare
professionals to ensure that every individual receives the right level of
care and support at the right time
 Maintain clear and accurate records of client interactions, appointments,
and referrals in line with GDPR and safeguarding practices
 Act as a vital communication link between service users and the wider
team, flagging any concerns or urgent needs promptly
 Offer a calm, reassuring presence to individuals who may be distressed,
anxious, or seeking information at a vulnerable time, engaging senior
colleagues, as appropriate
 Open and close patient spaces and set up the centre space for workshops,
support groups and other events.

Administrative Support
 Maintain accurate records and update databases, including service user
information
 Inputting data into relevant systems accurately and in a timely manner
 Assist with preparing correspondence, reports, and materials for
meetings
 Assist in the processing of post, deliveries, and office supplies
 Liaise with volunteers, staff, and external service providers as needed
 Managing the consumables within this patient space and ordering
replacement stock as and when required.
 Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.
 Take donations in any of the Weston Park Cancer Charity locations
 Arranging room bookings both internally and externally.

About the role

As our Compliance Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring that CIUK operates with integrity and confidence in a complex global environment. Reporting to the Risk and Internal Audit Manager, you will be the organisation’s lead expert on compliance — from charity law and fundraising regulations to data protection and anti-financial crime measures.

This is both a strategic and hands-on position. You will advise senior leaders and trustees on regulatory obligations while working closely with teams across the organisation to embed a proactive culture of compliance. Your work will span everything from guiding fundraising campaigns to meet regulatory standards, to coordinating due diligence on international partners, to leading the organisational response to compliance incidents.

You will also shape and strengthen our internal frameworks by overseeing whistleblowing processes, leading investigations, and ensuring that policies, training, and reporting mechanisms remain robust and effective. At the same time, you will monitor emerging regulatory developments so that CIUK is always prepared for change and positioned to meet new challenges with confidence. What the role involves

LMK (Let Me Know) is on a mission to change that. We are a young and thriving charity providing education about healthy and unhealthy behaviours so that young people have the knowledge and skills to avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships. Job Description

This is a new role, joining a small and growing fundraising team. The purpose of this Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager role is to grow LMK’s income generation from Charitable Trusts and Foundations, to support delivery of LMK’s mission. 

The role is a true combination of independent and collaborative working. Independent in the writing of bespoke funding applications and reports, maintaining accurate records on LMK’s CRM, and researching to continually build LMK’s pipeline of Trusts & Foundation prospects. 

And collaborative in the close working with LMK’s core team to monitor and report on restricted grants, and working together with the wider fundraising team on creative projects such as: maintaining an updated library of cases for support, implementation of fresh and creative stewardship strategies that bring LMK supporters closer to our work, and cultivation strategies that engage supporters to whom LMK is brand new. 

The role requires strong relationship building skills, which will be drawn upon in your direct working with Trust & Foundation supporters and internally with LMK colleagues. 

Key Responsibilities

• Writing bespoke funding applications: you will be responsible for maintaining a regular pipeline of applications, writing and submitting proposals to new and existing Trust & Foundation supporters, including six-figure and multi-year grants, working to targets for both income generated and outputs (e.g. number of proposals per month).

• Grant reporting: using LMK’s CRM system and working collaboratively with the core team to produce high quality, timely reports for both restricted and unrestricted grants.

• Providing excellent relationship management: to build trusted and lasting relationships with existing and new supporters, including delivery of stewardship and cultivation strategies.

• Case for support development: with support from the wider fundraising team, you will maintain a library of creative and compelling cases for support for use in Trusts & Foundations fundraising. 

• Researching Prospects: identifying suitable new Trusts & Foundations for LMK to approach, and developing and delivering approaches to cultivate early, new relationships. 

• Maintaining accurate, data-compliant records on LMK’s CRM: ensuring all grant records are stored securely, and delivery commitments are effectively communicated to relevant staff members in a timely manner.

Person Specification 

• Proven experience of leading on Trust & Foundation applications generating  high 5-figure and multi-year grants.

• Experience of working with colleagues to provide financial information to funders e.g. developing budgets for grant requests and financial reporting at the end of a grant.

• At least 3 years’ experience in successfully delivering and/or supporting a grant fundraising programme, including demonstrable experience of working to targets and managing multiple deadlines, and understanding the trust & foundations fundraising landscape.

• Successfully managing a portfolio of at least 15 Trusts and Foundation relationships, with evidence of providing excellent relationship management and stewardship strategies resulting in renewed and/or increased levels of financial support from partners.

• Experience of using a CRM system to manage all aspects of grant fundraising, including maintaining a pipeline of grant prospects, managing live grants, and regular data input that helps to store a full picture of our funder relationships.

• Excellent written skills, with proven experience of developing a compelling case for support that connects prospective funders with the charity’s mission and is grounded in the charity’s strategic priorities and funding needs.

• Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and attention to detail. 

• Strong MS Office/Google knowledge, numerate, comfortable with data

As a Store Associate you will support the manager with all aspects of running a busy store, it's the best of both worlds as you will have responsibilities but also the chance to develop and learn with an experienced store manager by your side. You'll need to be well organised with great communication skills and ready to learn how to lead your team of colleagues in store to maximise sales and profit and meet your stores targets.
