Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will play a key supporting role within the fundraising team, assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the Communications team. With a key aim of delivering agreed activity and growing income from corporate partnerships.
This role focuses on supporting the identification and recruitment of new regional, national and international corporate supporters, while also playing a lead role in managing and stewarding existing partnerships, with particular responsibility for communications activity and delivery of sponsorship activities and events.

The Pepper Foundation is a local charity funding children’s hospice care at home, specialised play and family days for children living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The Community Fundraiser will be joining Pepper at an exciting time as we launch our new three-year fundraising strategy. We have a strong track record in fundraising from trusts and foundations, and we are currently in receipt of grants from Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other significant environmental funders.
Our Fundraising Team comprises a Rewilding Investment Lead (who develops corporate partnerships) and a Trusts and Foundations Lead, led by our Fundraising Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Trusts and Foundations Lead, you would establish and maintain relationships with a wide portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, and be responsible for securing both project-specific and core income.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifying and researching funding opportunities, including due diligence as appropriate.
Networking, and building and stewarding relationships with prospective funders.
Liaising with senior, project and finance staff to identify, prioritise and cost key fundraising needs.
Managing a dynamic pipeline of applications matched to the agreed fundraising priorities.
Preparing and submitting compelling expressions of interest and funding proposals, including accurate financial information as required.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Salary: £35,500 - £37,500 FTE, depending on experience. Salaries are paid on the last working day of each month by bank transfer and cover the period of the first of the month to the last day of the month.
Contract: Permanent position.
Place of work: This role is home-based and will require a suitable home office working environment. SBP will provide a laptop and additional equipment as needed.
Travel: Attendance of team meetings held across Scotland will be required (typically two to three times per year), and the role may also involve occasional travel elsewhere within the UK. Travel expenses will be paid in accordance with SBP’s expenses policy. Applicants must be based within a reasonable commuting distance and must have the right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide visa sponsorship).
Hours: We are open to this role being full-time or part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE, equating to
22.5 hours per week). Working hours are flexible. The nature of the post may require occasional evening and weekend work. Paid overtime is not routinely available, but time off in lieu will
be given.
Flexibility: Subject to ensuring that the needs of the charity and the role are met, SBP endeavours to meet the flexible working needs of its staff.
Holidays: 28 days FTE (pro rata for part-time), including public holidays, plus 5 additional office closure days between Christmas and New Year.
Pensions: We offer a workplace pension scheme with a 5% employee contribution and 3% employer contribution.

ABOUT YOU
You will have proven experience in fundraising, business development, or partnership management, with a track record of generating income and building strong external relationships. Ideally, you will have experience developing fundraising plans, pipelines, or income streams from an early stage, and will be comfortable working in an environment where processes, opportunities, and supporter journeys are still evolving.
You will be confident identifying and pursuing new opportunities, developing compelling proposals and cases for support, and managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including corporate partners, community fundraisers, volunteers, and individual supporters.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and creative, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with colleagues across fundraising, marketing, and operational teams.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a confident, ambitious, and entrepreneurial Fundraising Manager to help grow sustainable income for Adoption UK by building and developing strong relationships with corporate partners, supporters, volunteers, and local communities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supported by the Director of Fundraising, take ownership of developing, delivering and monitoring fundraising events and activities in line with our fundraising strategy.
Lead on key income streams to maximise net income and develop sustainable income streams for short, medium and long-term growth.
Monitor and evaluate progress against plans using management information and budgets to produce reports and forecasts as required
Deliver effective supporter journeys to improve supporter experience, retention, and long-term engagement.
Work alongside the Director of Fundraising to develop and implement processes and policies.
Grow and diversify income across corporate partnerships, community fundraising, events, individual giving and digital activity.
Develop compelling proposals and pitches for corporate partners, clearly articulating social value, impact and return on investment.
Build and manage a strong corporate prospect pipeline using research, data and structured follow-up to convert opportunities. Identify opportunities to sponsor projects and activities.
Collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop assets and digital campaigns to support fundraising appeals and events.
Work with all Adoption UK teams to support local fundraising activities in each of the four nations including membership and community teams.

About the role
The Trusts & Statutory Fundraising Manager will play a key role in delivering Sands’ ambitious income growth plans and strengthening long-term philanthropic partnerships that support Sands’ work to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.
Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy Manager and sitting within the Partnerships & Philanthropy Team, the role will lead the development and growth of a strategic portfolio of trusts, foundations and statutory funders, securing significant multi-year income and building long-term relationships with supporters and partners.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and relationship-driven fundraiser to help shape and grow a high-potential area of fundraising at Sands. The postholder will work closely with senior colleagues across research, training, bereavement support and engagement teams to develop compelling funding propositions aligned to Sands’ strategic priorities.
The role combines strategic planning, relationship management and high-quality bid writing, alongside leadership of the trusts pipeline, stewardship activity, cross-team collaboration and line management of a Trusts Fundraiser.

Partnerships and Engagement Manager
As part of our ambition to reach more families and secure the long-term sustainability of services, we are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Partnerships and Engagement Manager to help expand our client’s profile, build meaningful partnerships, and create new opportunities for support across the South West.
This is a newly created and strategically important role focused on developing new relationships with businesses, community organisations, professional networks, and other stakeholders who share a commitment to improving outcomes for children with disabilities and additional needs.

Location: Home-based with regular travel across the South West and attendance at the National Therapy Assessment Centre, Bridgwater.

Through the evidence-based Therapy Programmes and National Therapy Assessment Centre in Bridgwater, the organisation delivers life-changing outcomes for families across the UK. Acting as a key ambassador, you will represent the charity across the region, identifying opportunities to raise awareness, build engagement, and develop partnerships that support this work.
You will help maximise the Therapy Assessment Centre as an engagement hub, encouraging prospective supporters and partners to visit, learn more about the services, and get involved meaningfully.
Working with fundraising, communications, retail, and service delivery teams, you will strengthen regional presence, generate support, increase awareness, and contribute to sustainable income growth through corporate partnerships, Charity of the Year relationships, community engagement, networking, and strategic introductions.

You will spend significant time meeting supporters, partners, and stakeholders across the South West. Applicants should therefore be based within the region and comfortable with regular travel, including visits to Bridgwater, as well as attendance at networking, partnership, and engagement events.
