About the role
As Head of External Affairs, you will lead a team of seven and set the strategic direction for our external affairs function. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring our media relations, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement activities enhance the Health Foundation’s reputation, support our strategic objectives, and position us as a leading voice in health and care policy.
As a senior member of the Communications team, you will be responsible for contributing to the leadership and smooth running of the Communications team, as well as providing advice to senior staff and colleagues across the Foundation. In this role, you will:
- Lead the external affairs team, providing direction, motivation, performance management and development for team members and working with them to develop a vision for first class external affairs at the Foundation.
- Lead our public affairs work, ensuring that our work is seen, our voice is heard, and we are influential at the highest levels in Westminster and Whitehall.
- Oversee the effective management of the Foundation’s media relations by overseeing proactive and reactive media work, building relationships with journalists and providing robust media relations advice to senior staff and other colleagues
- Provide expert advice to the Chief Executive, other senior leaders and colleagues across the Foundation.
We are looking for a confident and strategic leader with a strong track record in media and public affairs, ideally within the health, public policy, or not-for-profit sectors. You will bring:
- Proven experience in leading high-performing communications or external affairs teams.
- Excellent public affairs and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- A strong understanding of the UK media, with experience of leading proactive and reactive media work
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex issues into compelling narrative
- Ability to write high quality briefings and other written materials for external and internal audiences.

About the Role
We have a strong Fundraising & Communications team with a clear strategy in place to achieve growth of voluntary income from £2.7m-£4.1m a year by 2028. We’re seeking an innovative and driven fundraiser to lead some of our less-developed areas of Fundraising to achieve the potential that we know that they have. This includes Major Gifts, Trust Fundraising and Legacies, and supporting our Service Delivery team to identify opportunities and submit Statutory tenders as appropriate.
In addition to leading on the strategic planning for growth in the areas outlined above, you’ll be confident in establishing relationships across the organisation, collating the data and information needed to ensure that Fundraisers are able to build an excellent case for support to take to their donors. You’ll also be excited about helping us to incorporate our clients’ lived experience of homelessness into our fundraising activity wherever possible.

The Finance and Funds Business Partner will be a new role for The Christie Charity (Charity) and a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to work for a fast moving, growing organisation. The role
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic self-starter to support the Director of Finance and Head of Finance with:
- The financial management of the Charity’s funds and individually funded projects; and
- The financial control and governance of The Christie Charity group including, but not limited to, The Christie Charity and its two wholly owned subsidiaries (The Christie Trading Company Limited and Northern Pathology Developments Limited).
You will be joining The Christie Charity at an exciting time as we seek to diversify the Charity’s income streams through use of innovative social investments and strategic commercial ventures. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop a deep understanding of charity and commercial finance within a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation.
Financial management
In relation to the financial management of the Charity’s funds, you will ensure designated named funds comply with governance requirements and are utilised in accordance with their Terms of Reference. In relation to the financial management of individually funded projects, you will monitor spend against budgets through accountability mechanisms agreed with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust finance team. The postholder will be an integral part of the Charity finance team and partake in the annual budget setting process to the extent budgets relate to the Charity’s designated named funds or individually funded projects.
As part of your role in the financial management of individually funded projects, you will act a finance business partner to the broader Charity. You will be integral in liaising with fundraising teams to ensure the Charity is aware of new projects, live projects, and projects which have ended to help inform fundraising activities.
Financial control and governance
You will play a key role in ensuring robust financial control across the Charity group, with the opportunity to take ownership of its two wholly owned subsidiaries: The Christie Trading Company Limited and Northern Pathology Developments Limited. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for overseeing the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, supporting the Charity’s aim of maintaining strong governance across both charitable and commercial operations.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing the monthly balance sheets and income statements for both subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations are completed, and addressing any variances or discrepancies.
Additional information
The Finance and Funds Business Partner is a newly created role that marks an exciting step in the Charity’s transition toward greater in-house financial management. Previously managed under a service level agreement with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, key aspects of financial management are now being brought into the organisation to strengthen control and governance.
Day-to-day financial transaction processing will continue to be delivered by The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, therefore, the postholder will be expected to work closely and collaboratively with their finance team to ensure seamless operations and continuity across the Charity group.
This post would suit an individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, evolving environment, where responsibilities may shift in response to organisational priorities. The postholder must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The postholder will also provide support to the Director of Finance and Head of Finance on an ad-hoc basis as required and deputise as appropriate.

At Boaz Trust, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home. For over 20 years, we’ve provided accommodation and specialist support to people who are facing homelessness and destitution because of their insecure or unresolved immigration status. We’re now looking for a strategic, relationship-driven fundraiser to join our senior team and shape a new phase of growth. Brand and Marketing

marketing and communications strategy that is driven by audience insight.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
- Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
- Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.
Write applications and reports
- Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
- Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
- Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
- Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner.
Data Management and Monitoring
- Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
- Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.
Line Management
- Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

The Head of Media is responsible for the Spokesperson Network and helping people in NEON’s networks make the most of media opportunities. They lead on strategy, developing high-level media contacts and managing staff associated with the programme.

We are a leading choral singing organisation and run residential summer courses for children and young people. About this role:
The main duties and responsibilities for the Heads of Development role are as follows:
INDIVIDUAL GIVING
· Maintain and build relationships with our donors, and identify new individuals who would like to see the Rodolfus Choral Foundation thrive
· Use our extensive alumni list to source and maintain donors
· Use contacts from the artistic director and trustees to generate new donors
· Ensure that our top and potential donors are well looked after and researched, passing on key information to the Artistic Director and, where appropriate, arranging meetings between him and our donors

The Role
The Head of Fundraising is a pivotal leadership role, reporting to the CEO and joining the SMT.

Overview:
Spires supports homeless and vulnerably housed people in South London. Spires has undergone a period of rapid transformation, moving to a model of multi-site working across three London Boroughs. Our core services include, day centre style drop ins for homeless people, a Women’s drop in, a Refugee drop in and outreach targeted at supporting Women who are sex working.

Part 1: Job profile
1.1 Purpose of job
To generate income from a diverse funding pool that includes trusts and foundations, legacy and individual giving, community giving, government contracts and corporate support. Trusts and foundations remain the primary funding source for Spires so maintaining consistent application output is a core element of the role.
Oversee Spires’ external relations and public profile. The post holder will be responsible for all communications and will look for areas to increase the organisations profile.
