About the role

What the job involves
We’re looking an Events and Community Coordinator to join our Events and Community Team. We’re a results-driven team focused on maximising opportunities, reaching ambitious goals, and delivering an outstanding experience for our supporters.
Our team raise funds through a range of activities including:
· our own events (e.g. March for Men)
· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)
· third party events (e.g. London Marathon)
· Golf Days
· helping community fundraisers who organise their own activity
You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers, providing admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey you'll help motivate during challenges, offer fundraising advice and ensure thanks at the end of a first-class experience.
Whilst each Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also work across teams to support where needed during busy periods of activity. This role sits within the Community Fundraising sub-team, supporting people organising their own fundraiser, from bake sales to head shaves and unique walking and cycling challenges. Day-to-day, you’ll manage our inbox and proactively reach out to new fundraisers to offer support and guidance, as well as delivering core processes like thanking, fulfilment and volunteer management in collaboration with other internal teams.
You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising activity, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

About the role
Imperial College Union is seeking a Building Co-ordinator to play a central role in the day-to-day operation of the Beit Building, one of the Union’s most active and diverse spaces. This is a hands‑on operational role that sits at the heart of student life, ensuring that the building is safe, welcoming and ready to support a wide range of student, staff and commercial activity.
Working closely with the Head of Commercial Services, Duty Managers and a wide network of internal and external stakeholders, the Building Co-ordinator will ensure that building activity runs smoothly from first enquiry through to delivery. This role also leads the Welcome Desk function, providing a consistently high standard of service and information to all building users.
The post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, working a 35-hour week across any five days out of seven, including some evenings and weekends in line with operational needs.
What you would be doing
You will coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Beit Building, ensuring all spaces are safe, well presented and available to support student, staff and commercial activity. As the first point of contact through the Welcome Desk, you will provide clear information and high‑quality customer service, while maintaining oversight of access systems, key control and building security. You will carry out regular building checks and ensure that any issues are promptly reported and followed up.
You will manage and coordinate bookings across the building, using the digital room booking system to ensure effective use of space. This will involve liaising with internal and external clients to confirm booking details, coordinating room set‑ups and pack‑downs, and supporting Duty Managers with smooth event handovers when required.
You will lead and support the student Welcome Desk team, including recruitment, training and day‑to‑day coordination, helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. You will also work closely with the Health, Safety and Facilities Manager and College Estates to support compliance, report maintenance issues and contribute to improvements in building operations and user guidance.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with experience coordinating building or operational services in a customer-focused environment. You will have experience supervising staff or volunteers and be confident managing multiple priorities in a busy setting.
You will bring a strong understanding of building operations, space management and health and safety expectations within a large, multi-use environment. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential, as the role works across a wide range of teams and stakeholders.
You will be comfortable using digital booking and reporting systems, have a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and be motivated by supporting a positive experience for students and visitors. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and credible People & Culture Business Partner to join our growing team, combining hands-on operational support with the opportunity to contribute to strategic organisational change. Initially, the role will focus on employee relations and organisational stabilisation, supporting managers with complex casework, workforce challenges and change activity in a fast-paced environment. You will also contribute to wider People & Culture priorities, including workforce planning, management development, engagement, process improvement and the modernisation of people practices across the charity. Working closely with leaders and managers, you will help build confidence, capability and consistency in people management while supporting the delivery of organisational objectives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing practical problem-solving with longer-term improvement and is motivated to make a meaningful impact in a values-led organisation.

You will be an experienced HR generalist with strong employee relations expertise and the confidence to support managers through complex and sensitive people matters. Role Purpose
Responsible for helping to ensure the effective delivery of the Regional Fundraising strategy in relation to generating sustainable income from third parties and campaigns.
