About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Lead IT infrastructure engineer to take ownership of our IT infrastructure and play a pivotal role in our migration from on-premises to Microsoft Azure.
This is a deeply hands-on, delivery-focused role where you’ll lead the technical design, build, deployment and maintenance of our infrastructure services across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments. You’ll be responsible for modernising and optimising our infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with best practice.
You’ll take the lead in executing our move to a hybrid Azure environment. Designing, building and deploying solutions yourself while guiding and mentoring engineers across the team. Alongside transformation work, you’ll also own day-to-day infrastructure operations, troubleshooting and driving continuous improvement.
You’ll play a key role in strengthening our cyber security posture, including vulnerability management, configuration hardening, incident response, compliance activities and maintaining accreditations such as Cyber Essentials Plus.
Working with the Head of IT, you’ll contribute to the development of the infrastructure roadmap, act as a subject matter expert across the organisation, and ensure our systems support the charity’s vital work.
About you
You’ll be an experienced infrastructure professional with strong hands-on expertise in:
- Designing, building and maintaining hybrid environments, particularly Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, compute and monitoring).
- Leading and delivering on-premises to Azure migration projects.
- Working across a wide range of enterprise infrastructure technologies across networking, virtualisation, storage, security, identity, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
- Managing Microsoft services such as Windows Server, Hyper-V, Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, Defender, Exchange, SharePoint etc.
- Strengthening infrastructure security across technical controls and operational procedures.
You’ll bring excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to lead technical decision-making. You’ll work proactively, take ownership of outcomes, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll have proven experience delivering end-to-end infrastructure solutions, driving transformation projects, and maintaining secure, resilient and cost-efficient environments. You’ll also be confident working with security frameworks, implementing technical controls, operational processes and delivering compliance activities needed to keep an organisation secure.
Alongside your technical expertise, you’ll provide leadership and mentorship to engineers, helping to build capability and support a culture of continual improvement.

About the Bristol Men’s Crisis House
The Bristol Men’s Crisis House is a warm and supportive 10-bed home based at Bradford Lodge in Avonmouth. We’re here for men who have recently been through a mental health crisis—whether they’ve just left hospital or are finding it difficult to stay safe where they currently live. Our house offers a calm, safe environment where residents can take time to stabilise and focus on their wellbeing. We provide therapeutic support to help each person feel ready and confident to return home. Stays are usually up to 10 days, although men who are of no fixed abode (NFA) may stay a little longer if needed.
- We’re a non-CQC registered service.
- Our team is here day and night, 24/7, every day of the year.
- The service is run by Rethink Mental Illness, working closely with AWP, who handle all referrals through their Crisis Teams.
How you will make a difference:
Staffing, Leadership & Oversight
· I will ensure that staff have the correct guidance and support to fulfil their roles and will ensure that a monthly 24/7 rota ensures enough staffing capacity to deliver effective support.
Quality of Support & Environment
· I will ensure that a high standard of support is embedded within the service and will promote and support an inclusive environment.
· I will ensure that high quality support planning, risk management, outcomes measurements are in place for all residents in the service at all times.
Referrals & Risk Management
· I will review all referrals into the service and ensure these are appropriate for the service remit and that risks are manageable during the residents stay. I will ensure that all referral documentation is received.
Partnership & Multi-Agency Working
· I will work closely with AWP Crisis Teams and ensure highly effective working relationships are in place at a management and front line level to ensure the crisis house provides the right standard of support to residents using a multi-agency approach.
Activities & Resident Engagement
· I will ensure activities offered to residents in the house and externally are varied and meet residents needs and demand and are within agreed budgets.
Incident Management & Learning
· I will manage and review all incidents and severe untoward incidents that occur at the crisis house ensuring that learning is adopted and shared as needed with AWP and the commissioners. I will support joint investigations with AWP where relevant following the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
Essential skills and experience required:
· Recognised housing related qualification or equivalent relevant housing experience
· Experience in a comparable role of management, preferably in housing, social services, residential care or supported housing.
· Experience and knowledge of enhanced housing benefit, housing management, related legislation, letting procedures and Local Authority guidelines
· Ability to identify support goals and evaluate progress.
· Knowledge of risk assessments and ability to identify potential risks and how to manage risks.
· Understanding of housing management, law, policy and best practice
· Ability to motivate people and achieve positive outcomes
· Ability to communicate effectively at different levels
· Knowledge of housing needs / barriers faced by people who experience mental ill health.

About the Role
In this newly created role, you will work directly with the CEO, providing oversight and direction to Team Leaders to ensure that services operate effectively and meet contractual requirements. You will be passionate about making a difference to the lives of unpaid carers in Buckinghamshire, with the ability to make an impact quickly. You’ll bring proven hands-on experience in a similar role working with a team to establish effective and innovative ways to deliver services.
Main Responsibilities
1. Strategic and Operational Leadership
· Hold overall accountability for service performance and quality, working through the Adult, Young and Hospital Carers Team Leaders who lead day-to-day operations
· Ensure alignment with our strategic priorities and our commissioned outcomes.
· Contribute as an active member of the Senior Management Team, supporting organisational strategy, planning and delivery.
· Ensure that all carer services operate cohesively, with smooth transitions between age groups and consistent quality standards.

· Line-manage and support the three Team Leads, ensuring clarity of priorities, effective supervision and professional growth.
· Support wellbeing, resilience and a sense of shared purpose across teams.
4. Safeguarding
· Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for Carers Bucks, providing advice and guidance to staff on safeguarding issues, ensuring compliance with policy and statutory requirements, and escalating concerns appropriately.
· Maintain oversight of all safeguarding cases across the organisation and support Team Leaders in their DDSL responsibilities.
5. Partnership and Representation
· Provide strategic coordination across thematic leads (Diverse Communities, Hospitals, Volunteers) to ensure alignment and shared priorities across services
· Represent Carers Bucks strategically with partners across social care, education and health.
· Support the CEO in relationships with commissioners, primary and secondary care, schools and VCSE partners to enhance identification and referral of carers.
· Champion the voice of carers of all ages through partnership boards, networks and other forums.
6. Performance, Impact and Reporting
· Monitor performance against contract outcomes, KPIs and quality standards.
· Work with our Data Lead to ensure accurate reporting and a strong evidence base for our work.
· Analyse trends and learning to inform service design and improvement.

· Provide effective feedback upwards to the CEO.

About the role
Reporting in to the Director of Finance and Corporate Governance, the Head of Technology & Data will champion the development, implementation, and use of information technology and data throughout Christian Aid, creating a culture of innovation and empowering IT users.

The Head of Operations at the Donmar Warehouse is a critical role working in collaboration with all Donmar departments, contractors and freelance staff to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of all operational, facilities and Health and Safety processes.
The role will manage the Facilities & Operations Coordinator and between the two posts ensure adequate coverage is in place across the required hours on a shift basis. ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Head of Funding and Partnershipsis a key member of HACT’s Leadership Team and leads the organisation’s business development, tendering and fundraising function. As part of the management tier, the role is responsible for scaling HACT’s impact across and beyond the housing sector through innovative commercial approaches, strategic fundraising, and exceptional customer relationships.
This position combines fundraising expertise, partnership building, developing and maintaining high-value relationships with funders, partners, and clients, as well as market intelligence. It identifies new opportunities for R&D development, pipeline growth, product sales and tender submissions while managing core business development activities that support HACT’s strategy.
The Head of Funding and Partnerships creates and executes annual fundraising and commercial plans, fosters collaborative relationships across the organisation, and embodies HACT’s values through transparent, supportive leadership. From time to time, the role presents to the Trustee Board and provides strategic advice and leadership to the executive team.
JOB PURPOSE
To lead HACT's fundraising, tendering and business development function, delivering ambitious fundraising targets while providing strategic market insights that drive organisational growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
Strategic fundraising leadership
- Create and deliver a fundraising strategy aligned with HACT's business strategy and ambitious growth target, with annual and multi-year targets
- ·Identify new funding opportunities through market research, relationship building, and strategic intelligence
- Lead the development of high-quality tender responses and proposals
- Maintain a register of frameworks and procurement opportunities aligned to HACT’s strategic priorities
- Oversee the production of high-quality client proposals within agreed deadlines, ensuring compelling cases for support
Partnership building:
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, foundations, and other organisations to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Manage existing funder relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth of funding commitments
- Support cross-sector collaborations, innovation pilots and consortium funding bids.
Market intelligence & business development
- Contribute to organisational strategy development through participation in Leadership Team activities
- Proactively identify collaboration and innovation opportunities, supporting business growth and diversification
- Provide market insights that enable R&D development, supporting innovation and new service creation and market analysis to support pipeline growth in new markets and enhance existing product sales
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the housing and social value sectors
- Contribute to strategic decision-making through robust market intelligence and competitive analysis
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with the Head of Communities and Projects to ensure project delivery meets funder expectations, leading on managing key grant funding relationships
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to align fundraising and marketing strategies for maximum impact
- Work closely with the Head of Services to create proposals that maximise income opportunities
- Work closely with Head of Customer to identify commercial opportunities and enhance service delivery, using insights form Social Value Insight to strengthen funding propositions.
- Work with the Head of Business Functions to develop commercial pricing and funding models and ensure compliance with due diligence and funder requests.
- Support colleagues across the organisation by providing proposal support, market insights and funding intelligence
Team leadership & operational excellence
- Line manage and develop the Funding and Insights Officer, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management
- Develop and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for proposals and grant applications to ensure consistency and quality
- Establish accessible, reliable management information systems to track performance and inform decision-making
- Ensure efficient processes and systems that support high-quality proposal development, tender submissions and relationship management
- Leverage AI tools and platforms to enhance business development processes
- Champion the adoption of AI-enabled solutions to improve productivity, personalise engagement strategies, and uncover new opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience & skills
- Proven track record in senior fundraising roles, with demonstrated success in securing and managing significant grants from charitable foundations, government, and other funding bodies
- Demonstrated success in proposal writing, developing tenders and commercial bids
- Strong background in business development and market research, ideally within the charitable or public sector
- Experience in relationship management with high-value stakeholders and complex funding organisations
- Strong communication, influencing and project management capabilities

The Facilities Manager will ensure a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment across Charleston’s two sites at Firle and in central Lewes. The postholder will oversee the day-to-day facilities operations of both sites, including security, building maintenance and health & safety procedures.This role requires the post holder to carry out physically demanding tasks such as moving furniture and other manual handling.
Duties and responsibilities
Operations and facilities
- Responsibility for the management of Charleston’s buildings and facilities.
- Coordinate and oversee cleaning, maintenance, utilities, and supplies, ensuring smooth, cost-effective operations.
- Manage supplier and contracts relationships including waste management, building maintenance, cleaning and security; review chosen suppliers against Charleston’s criteria including value for money.
- Act as the main contact for tenants and ensure efficient resolution of queries.
- Oversee the relationship with the external IT provider to ensure organisational IT requirements are met and value for money achieved.
- Work closely with the Head of Collections and Research and Head of Exhibitions to maintain excellent environmental conditions for the protection of the house and objects.
- Proactively improve the sites in collaboration with the Visitor Experience Manager, leading on wayfinding, sustainability, and access initiatives.
- Actively manage and monitor the annual operations and utilities budgets, seeking cost savings and service improvements through regular contract reviews.
- Maintain records to ensure any discrepancies are followed up, allowing pro-active, timely review of invoices.
Site maintenance
- Schedule and manage routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance.
- Ensure regular inspections of plant and equipment to deliver safe operational standards, documenting results and addressing concerns proactively.
- Carry out maintenance requirements and lead on scheduling external contractors as required.
- Schedule regular contractors as required for servicing and maintenance visits.
- Hands-on approach with the ability and willingness to carry out minor repairs and fixes as needed.
- Actively manage and monitor the budget for site maintenance.
- Research and source cost effective and sustainable materials and supplies.
- Maintain records to allow proactive timely review of invoices and follow up of any discrepancies.
Health and Safety
- Lead annual health and safety reviews and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Support the development of comprehensive method statements and risk assessments for all areas of work throughout the gallery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Carry out operational maintenance work identified by Health and Safety assessments.
- Attend and contribute to monthly Health & Safety meetings.
- Work with the Visitor Experience Manager to ensure all facilities are accessible and inclusive for visitors with additional needs.
Emergency and security procedures
- Act as a keyholder and respond to emergency callouts as required.
- Manage building security systems and records and serve as Fire Marshal.
- Lead staff inductions on emergency and security procedures.
General duties
- To act at all times in the best interests of Charleston.
- Ensure that data capture, storage and processing related to finance and resources activity complies with Charleston’s policies and GDPR regulations.
