As CEO, you will lead the operational and strategic running of the charity, make sure that the organisation runs well every day and that it has the people, systems and income to grow.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Significant experience of leading at senior level in a charity, social enterprise, public or community organisation. This might be as a Chief Officer, Director or Head of a significant function with clear accountability for people, budgets and organisational performance.
• Experience of working directly with or supporting a Board of Trustees or similar governing body, including preparing papers, giving honest advice and implementing decisions.
• Experience of organisational development or change, for example improving systems, structures, culture or ways of working in a small organisation.
• Understanding of the issues faced by LGBTQIA+ people, including those who are Black or from other communities of colour, disabled people and people with insecure immigration status, and a commitment to intersectional practice.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Work alongside the CEO and Senior Management Team (SMT) to develop and implement the Charity's strategy and business plans including setting and managing budgets, targets and outputs and reviewing progress against these.
• Develop and implement the strategy and business plans for Finance & Compliance and Central Operations (IT, HR, Facilities and Programme Office)
• Manage annual and 2-year strategic business planning to produce effective budgets and forecasts for approval by the Board of Trustees
• Lead the Programme Office that leads on standardised project tools, processes and operating practices, providing oversight of cross-functional activities and resource planning across the Charity
• Manage the implementation and maintenance of strong strategic and operational financial planning processes and controls to safeguard the Charity's finances
• Lead the Finance & Compliance and Central Operations teams to deliver against plans and work efficiently and effectively
• Oversee the development, recording, storage and updating of the Charity's Standard Operating Practices
• Develop relationships with relevant suppliers and lead on procurement, contract review and supplier cost effectiveness projects
• Lead the drive for cost efficiency throughout the Charity
• Understand the effects and implications of relevant government and Charity Commission policies, legislation and directives and develop effective strategies to integrate them within the Charity
• Ensure appropriate levels of insurances are in place to fully capture the needs of the Charity and reduce financial risk appropriately
• Provide the SMT, CEO and Trustees with regular and timely financial and operational reporting and insights that clearly identify opportunities and gaps and inform key decisions, planning processes and policies
• Work with Budget Holders to develop their financial understanding and ownership of individual budgets
• Oversee the effective management of financial resources to achieve the best possible ROI, delivering against the charity's objects
• Work with the Trustees to ensure the charity's investments are in line with the investment policies and ethos of the charity, and effectively deployed and properly managed
• Oversee the day-to-day financial and operational management of the Charity, including budgeting, monitoring, risk management and GDPR
• Provide strategic oversight and guidance to internal and external HR resource
• Line manage, and work alongside, the HR Manager to ensure that relevant HR policies are in place and adhered to
• Provide leadership, guidance and advice on all HR matters including employment law issues
• Work with the HR Manager, CEO and SMT to strategically plan the HR resource requirements for each department and oversee the appointment of new staff
• Prepare salary forecasts to demonstrate affordability and sustainability of staffing structures required
• Lead the implementation of other HR processes as necessary eg payroll
• Manage the professional development, appraisal and training processes for the Charity
• Work with the CEO and SMT to develop and implement the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) for the Charity
• Work with the HR Manager and SMT to ensure that appropriate Diversity, Equality Equity and Inclusion (DEEI) policies and practices are in place, effectively implemented and monitored for the charity
• Oversee the IT set up and training of staff to provide appropriate tools to work effectively
• Oversee the Charity's CRM and database requirement(s) to ensure it enables optimal financial and operational insight, and automation to support the strategic needs of the Charity
• Lead the Risk Management process and Risk Register updates across the organisation with the support of the SMT and CEO
• Lead on Data Protection for the Charity and manage the third party Data Protection Office/r to ensure compliance and reduce risk of data breaches
• Design, develop and manage the Charity's internal audit approach with the support of SMT

This role will involve working closely with senior finance colleagues and auditors to ensure a smooth and accurate year-end process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce statutory accounts across two finance systems and liaise with external auditors
• Post year-end adjustments for expenses and income
• Provide supporting schedules, documentation, and explanations

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA)

The Principal Practice Tutor will play a leading role in and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work.  This is an exciting role for someone who wishes to combine management and leadership responsibilities whilst keeping a close connection to the work of their team by working directly with participants on the programme.  

The role of Principal Practice Tutor is to provide programme leadership and team management ensuring a high-quality teaching experience as well as ensuring excellent participant placement experience by supporting Consultant Social Workers. 

The role comprises of six core areas of responsibility: 

• Programme leadership and team management
• Resolve escalated participant issues
• Practice learning of participants 
• Support of Consultant Social Workers 
• Delivery (teaching) and Quality Assurance (marking) of the programme’s curriculum

You will work alongside the Head of Delivery, Principal Curriculum Leads and Principal Partnership Leads to ensure a high quality, effective learning experience for our participants. The Business System Administrator (FTC) role is a support role focused on managing application support requests and providing routine application support, advice, and system administration for key business systems.

The post holder will act as the first point of contact and work as part of a team to maintain these systems. You will play a central part in disciplinary proceedings, providing high-quality legal, procedural and administrative support. This includes minute-taking for hearings, drafting outcome correspondence, and supporting the accuracy and consistency of decisions across our complaint’s framework.

About the Role

As an Independent Domestic & Sexual Violence Advocate you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse through on-going risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, information, and advocacy and enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.

You will work within a hospital setting to support both patients and staff. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic and sexual abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management. Support could include empowering the client to report to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pretrial therapy and sexual violence counselling.
