Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving and Legacy Marketing, you will lead the development and implementation of Barnardo's Legacy Marketing Strategy, with a focus on growing the number of legacy pledgers and intenders, delivering exceptional stewardship, and embedding legacy giving across the organisation.
You'll also play a key role in developing a long-term growth strategy for In Memory Giving, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver inspiring and engaging supporter experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of a long-term Legacy Marketing Strategy to grow income from gifts in wills and in-memory giving.
- Manage a team of legacy marketing professionals and oversee a budget of approximately £600k, with an income target of £240k.
- Design and implement sector-leading stewardship journeys for legacy audiences.
- Collaborate across fundraising, marketing, and supporter care teams to integrate legacy messaging and supporter journeys.
- Work with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality campaigns and supporter experiences.
- Monitor trends in the legacy giving landscape and use insights to inform strategy and innovation.
- Champion legacy giving across the organisation, building awareness and engagement internally.

You’ll deliver timely, targeted, relevant communications to our warm audiences; newly recruited and existing cash supporters and regular givers with the aim of strengthening loyalty and increasing their lifetime value.
With internal and external stakeholders, you’ll project manage existing direct marketing campaigns in the form of direct mail appeals, emails, telemarketing and occasional stewardship events. Aside from excellent knowledge and experience of working in a direct marketing environment, which includes developing and implementing retention focused direct marketing campaigns, you’ll also have a range of channel experience and marketing knowledge.

The ability to manage budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance. Sebastien discovered ClientEarth while studying anthropology and law at university. The high-leverage legal approach to achieve tangible progress on the climate and biodiversity crisis was immediately appealing. Since joining ClientEarth as a Philanthropy Officer, Sebastien has progressed to the Philanthropy Manager position where he supports and oversees two members of the Philanthropy Team. He has found that working in the Philanthropy Team has been a fantastic way to support ClientEarth's mission while learning about the world and developing skills in relationship management and communication.
Main Duties
- Actively manage donor relationships across assigned portfolio of largely UK supporters with first class stewardship and reporting to secure renewals and uplifts of approximately £500,000 pa.
- Support with oversight of engagement with supporters ranging from £10,000 - £50,000. Galvanise and coordinate the European Philanthropy team to identify opportunities to uplift giving and ensure all supporters feel valued.
- Develop the pipeline of new donors through effective prospect research, network mapping and connecting with new contacts at external and internal events as a representative of ClientEarth.
- Support the Philanthropy Manager, Philanthropy Lead for Europe and all the Philanthropy Team to create the conditions for success in the European Philanthropy Team. Collaborating with colleagues across Europe inclusively to achieve shared goals and strengthen processes.

Brief Description/Summary
As Patient Service Co-ordinator you will be responsible for managing referrals from our service users, who are all those affected by kidney disease in Wales, including children, youths, adults, and families. You will build and maintain constructive working relationships with people who use our services, people with kidney disease, carers, colleagues, and community networks
Our Patient Service Co-ordinator acts as a vital liaison, responsible for managing all referrals from our service users, identifying the support needed, facilitating appointments for peer support and counselling, communicating between patients, referrers, volunteer peer mentors and counsellors. Referring patients to internal services as well as external organisations. Other duties include providing general advice and guidance, developing links with external providers, organisation or individuals that can support our kidney community of Wales, administrative support include assisting accessing healthcare services, maintaining referral records, and resolving referral concerns to support efficient and effective care.
As Patient Services Co-ordinator you will also build relationships with Health Care Professionals to help raise awareness of our services, building our referral partners to ensure all patients are supported at the point of need.
Salary is Grade 1 to Grade 2, based on a 40 hour work week with paid breaks. It is also based on experience.

Purpose
This role leads the coordination of Kids’ online engagement and digital inclusion work for young people with SEND, including information provision, participation, and wellbeing support. You will deliver a two-year Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme, including identifying and engaging digitally excluded young people to help them access vital digital tools and services. The role also drives collaboration across the Digital Services Consortium (a collaboration of 12 children’s charities), embedding shared learning, outcome measurement, and inclusive digital practices across Kids, and will create new capacity to work with young people to scope and deploy online campaigning activity.
Responsibilities
- To lead and coordinate Kids’ online engagement and inclusion work for young people with SEND. This includes Kids’ online information provision; voice/ participation and wellbeing work.
- To develop and deliver Kids’ two-year digital inclusion programme, Online Wellbeing and Resilience Support Programme* to ensure reach and impact is maximised.

About the role
Reporting in to the Head of Partnerships & Impact Funding, the role of Partnerships and Business Development Lead is responsible for strategic leadership in developing and nurturing institutional funding partnerships (Government, Multi-lateral, Trusts & Foundations,
Corporates) at the global level, to create and manage compelling pipelines to mobilise income and resources for Christian Aid's programming worldwide.
The post-holder will champion collaboration, innovation, and inclusion, ensuring Christian Aid’s engagement, profile, and business development with key Government, Multilateral, Foundation, and Corporate Partnerships deliver a step-change in income generation, impact, and influence, and will foster cross-functional collaboration across Partnership and Impact units while empowering others to lead change through co-creation.
Some of the main areas of responsibility for the role of Partnerships and Business Development Lead will include:
- Inspire and motivate a high-performing team of multiple units through donor specialist managers and programme design advisor to deliver strategic impact and income goals and targets.
- Develop long-term global income generation strategies aligned with Christian Aid’s values and goals.
- Actively contribute to the Partnership and Impact Funding (PIF) Division management team, sharing ideas and insights to promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge, deputising for the Head of Partnerships & Impact Funding when required.
- Foster a culture of innovation and bold thinking, empowering collaboration across teams.
- Champion high quality funding partnerships and programme design.
- Approve global donor account engagement plans while coordinating opportunities across accounts to ensure targets are met.
- Lead direct donor engagement as part of a portfolio of relationships within the global partnerships donor strategy to achieve outstanding results.
- Build a wide network of contacts and funding relationships with donors, peers, consortia partners and implementing agencies.
- Oversee global pipeline mechanisms, including Go/No-Go, Global level bidding for grants and supplier contracts to align with organisational priorities.
- Lead cross-organisational project teams in programme design and development for major grant and contracting opportunities to ensure consistent and coherent messaging.
- Ensure monitoring of co-funding requirements across the global portfolio while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Ensures close coordination with Christian Aid Ireland Institutional Funding Unit
- Review donor contract agreements within delegated authority levels.
- Ensure effective onboarding of new programming with delivery teams and ensure effective reviews of reporting for quality assurance
About you
Who we are looking for
Essential:
- Proven track record in directly securing multi-million-pound contracts or grants from institutional, trusts and foundations, and corporate donors.
- Substantial experience in building and cultivating strategic donor partnerships including engagement at global, regional and country mission levels with senior stakeholders and demonstrable experience of engaging.
- Extensive management experience overseeing high-performing teams directly and remotely.
- Extensive experience of leading multiple bid teams to successful outcomes.
- Advanced negotiation skills at senior levels within HQ’s, regional offices, or missions.
- Detailed understanding of institutional, corporate and trusts and foundations donor funding landscapes and trends.
- Advanced understanding in interpretation and negotiation of government and foundation grant and contract calls for proposals and contract and compliance agreements and frameworks.
- Highly developed decision-making skills including working under high pressure, negotiation skills, organisational planning and prioritisation skills.
- Verbal fluency in English with a persuasive writing style.
- Highly developed communication and networking skills for engagement, relationship building and facilitation, including consortium development
Desirable:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in business, economics, international relations, development studies, or related fields.
- Understanding of humanitarian programming principles and practice.
- Substantial experience working within an international development organisation at a senior level.
