This is a new role at a genuine moment of growth for SSE - we expect to recruit over 600 social entrepreneurs across our learning programmes next year and every one of them starts with a good assessment. 

Our assessment work spans a large pool of staff, freelancers and partners, and this role exists to bring it all together: clear frameworks, consistent data, and a process that's welcoming to people who don't always find application processes easy.

We're looking for an assessment lead to design and embed the systems, training and guidance that help our wider team assess applicants fairly, consistently and efficiently - and to carry out assessments and interviews directly. You'll work closely with the Head of Grants and Assessment, our Tech Team, and Programme Managers across the organisation.

You’ll will need to have a rare combinations of skills – a good understanding of a wide range of social enterprises and charities, gained through experience of training, business consultancy or development support, combined with the ability to design systems to support data collection and assessment, and the ability to support others to use those systems. Role Overview:

The Woodland Trust is looking for an Operations Officer - Wildlife. This role will work collaboratively with colleagues across a number of teams, particularly in Operations and Nature Recovery, to advise and help deliver our plans to reduce adverse herbivore impacts (with an initial focus on deer populations) and make meaningful and lasting improvements to the woodland ecological condition of our estate. 

This role is based within the North and covers from the Northern Forest up, including Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The Role:

This role will join an ambitious programme developing the capacity of the Libraries Connected public library networks. We want to help them evolve as strategic partnerships able to deliver social impacts at scale and to secure resources and investment from national, regional and sub-regional government. The role is part of a small team of two Regional Managers, supported by an Administrator. 

By developing our existing regional networks into formal, resourced structures we can enable the regions to: 

• Secure investment for the service and for the libraries from regional and devolved / combined authority funds.
• Create unique regional offers to meet specific needs across and within the regional areas.
• Deliver at scale. For example, the Yorkshire & Humber regional network has 15 library services, and 348 library buildings. 
• Create opportunities for cost saving – through joint procurement and shared / collaborative services. 
• Share good practice and experience on a formal and integrated basis. 

We have 9 regional networks in England, covering all library services and ranging in size from 9 to 33 services. Role Summary

Account Management & Stewardship

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners and selected trusts and foundations, delivering excellent relationship management, stewardship and reporting.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality partnership reports, impact updates and funding reports that demonstrate the value of support and strengthen long-term relationships.
• Act as the Funding Relationship Lead for their portfolio, ensuring reporting commitments, stewardship activity and internal coordination are managed throughout the life of each partnership or grant.
• Identify opportunities to renew, grow and enhance existing partnerships, maximising income and engagement.

Business Development & Income Generation

• Develop and secure new corporate partnerships by identifying, cultivating and converting prospective supporters into long-term partners.
• Prepare compelling funding proposals, partnership pitches and applications tailored to corporate and trust funding opportunities.
• Develop attractive ESG partnership opportunities and other funding propositions that align with Ocean Generation's mission and strategic priorities.

Partnership Activation & Organisational Collaboration

About Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. The Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.

The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM and data professional who enjoys hands-on responsibility for systems, process improvement and data management, and enabling colleagues to deliver exceptional fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activity. Working closely with teams across the charity, you will ensure our CRM remains effective, compliant and fit for purpose while helping us better understand and engage our supporters. This role can be offered on a fully remote basis, with the option to work from Perth Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located or our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, if preferred.                    We are looking to recruit 2x Screening Co-ordinators to join our wonderful Screening Department.

You will have:

Main Duties:

Coordinating your allocated CRY cardiac screening events which includes:

o Being the main point of contact for the family, school or other party that is funding or requesting the screening event.

o Liaising with the CRY Screening Managers / Drivers / Bookings Coordinator with all details regarding the event.

o Working with and managing the online booking system for your CRY screening events.

o Confirming event information and updating the screening spreadsheet (known as the ‘Screening Calendar’) with any changes.

o Producing screening posters via Canva to advertise screening events.

o Producing results letters, mail-merging letters and ensuring they are created and sent in a timely manner.

o Managing email distribution lists (waiting lists) for individuals who wish to be notified about future screening events in their area; including updating the lists as needed and sending notifications when new event dates are released.

o Ensuring all equipment and consumables are ready for the screening event and all prepared for the Driver to take on the CRY van.

o Managing and inputting data into various CRY screening spreadsheets – e.g. producing information spreadsheets for use by the screening team on the day of the screening event.

o Providing support to other members of the screening team with their assigned CRY screening events when needed (e.g. to cover annual leave, sickness, etc).

o Answering telephone queries and emails about screening.

o Secondary telephone answering duties for both the screening phone number and the main CRY office phone number.

o Secondary ‘ECG’ mailbox answering duties.

o Ensuring that records (physical and digital) are kept in accordance with general data protection and information security regulations (GDPR and related legislation)

o Other office administration tasks at the request of the Screening Team Leader, Screening Manager or the Director of Screening and Research.

The Mason Foundation is a national charity that supports neurodivergent young people and communities to thrive. (Neurodivergent means people whose brains work differently, for example autistic people or people with ADHD.) You would deliver all three programmes, Propel, Community Mile and our community programmes, by running training and sessions, building relationships, and championing neuroinclusion, which means helping everyday settings work better for neurodivergent people.
