About the role

The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of The Brilliant Club’s HR operations. Sitting within a wider HR team, this role is primarily focused on delivering high quality administrative support across the employee lifecycle, particularly in relation to attraction, recruitment, selection, onboarding and offboarding activity.

Working closely with the HR Director and wider HR team, the HR Coordinator will help ensure that HR processes are delivered efficiently, consistently and with excellent attention to detail. The role will involve maintaining accurate employee records within our HR system (Personio), coordinating recruitment administration, supporting compliance processes and assisting with a range of people-related activities across the organisation.

Alongside core HR administration, the HR Coordinator will also have the opportunity to support wider HR and organisational projects, including elements of equality, diversity and inclusion work, process improvement initiatives and systems development. At times, the role may also involve supporting related administrative activity connected to our tutor workforce and wider operations processes.

This role would suit someone with strong organisational and administrative skills who thrives in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys balancing multiple priorities. We are looking for someone who is proactive, flexible and willing to get stuck into a broad range of work, including opportunities that may sit slightly outside of their immediate remit in order to support their own development and the wider team.

Prior HR experience is not essential, however a genuine interest in HR, people, culture and organisational development is strongly encouraged and desirable. Position: Finance & Operations Manager 

• Working hours & Location:  2.5 days per week (20 hours) including both in-person hours in Norwich (Monday and Wednesday) and home working- we do offer some flexbility with the hours in office.
• Responsible for: Working with the Charity Director to ensure all financial and operational services are professional managed and organised.
• Type of Contract: Permanent role. The post is available for start in August 2026.
• Holiday entitlement: Paid annual leave (includes Bank holiday entitlement) is 14 days a year (28 days FTE)

As Finance and Operations Manager, you will play a central role in our organisation- contributing to strategic decision-making while enabling frontline staff to deliver high-quality services. You will help ensure English+ remains financially secure, maintains strong donor relationships, and continues to be a leading community-based ESOL provider in Norfolk.

What you will be working on:

• Working closely with the Charity Director and Trustees, you will develop and manage the charity’s financial strategy, including setting annual budgets and producing quarterly management accounts with clear spend-versus-budget reporting. You will liaise with external accountants to prepare year-end accounts and take responsibility for day-to-day financial operations, including payroll and maximising Gift Aid income.
• In partnership with the Charity Director, you will help secure the organisation’s financial sustainability by preparing funding bids, monitoring programme finances, and ensuring accurate financial reconciliation.
• You will also support the Charity Director and Trustees with staff recruitment, drafting contracts and job descriptions, and overseeing leave and timesheet processes.
• Working with the Charity Director and Support Manager, you will help ensure that policies and procedures are robust, up to date, and aligned with operational needs, contributing to policy development, updates, and risk assessments.
• In addition, you will manage and report on key data relating to students, volunteers, and donors, producing management information and contributing to both the Charity Commission Annual Report and the English+ annual report.
• As part of a collaborative team, you will also help plan and deliver events such as the Summer Programme and seasonal activities. Given the nature of a small organisation, there may occasionally be opportunities to support wider activities, including assisting with classes where needed.

About the role

This role is central to our Information & Advice service. You will provide high-quality initial information and guidance, assess urgency and risk, and ensure people are directed quickly and appropriately to advice services, support services or partner organisations.

About the role

Contract: This is a maternity cover fixed term contract. About the role:

As the Development and Fundraising Co-ordinator, you will support statutory and non-statutory funding across Advance’s services, with oversight by the Development Manager and support from the Bid Officer. You will also provide assistance to the Head of Fundraising.

• Assist the respective managers to review bid application processes, identify gaps, and increase efficiencies

• Support colleagues to generate standardised, high quality funder reports and communications to funders

• Lead on communication with Advance’s partners and internal teams to keep abreast of developments throughout the bid process

• Oversee due diligence of funders and delivery partners

• Support the Fundraising and Development team to maintain regular communication with existing and potential funders

• Maintain Advance’s donor database

• Keep up-to-date, accurate records on the progress of funding prospects and proposals

• Take responsibility for reviewing and keep clear, accurate records of agreement documents and contracts, following the team’s processes for filing and version control

Cranstoun Worcestershire delivers services across the county, working with partners to support individuals affected by drug and alcohol use. This is a key role at the front door of the service, combining operational coordination with leadership responsibility to ensure people can access support quickly and effectively. 

We are looking for an organised, proactive individual with experience in health and social care, who has experience of managing and coordinating a high-volume referral system or similar core service pathway.

You will oversee referral and allocation processes across the service, ensuring timely assessment, prioritisation and allocation to the right teams. You will manage demand, monitor referral volumes, and work with operational leads to address pressures and maintain a consistent flow into treatment.

Alongside this, you will take a lead role in supporting colleagues to improve decision-making at the point of referral, promoting high standards of practice, consistency, and accuracy in recording and allocation processes. You will also contribute to service improvement by reviewing pathways, identifying trends, and working with partners to enhance referral quality.

All post holders may be required to work some evenings, to meet our service delivery requirements. The core service operates Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

We have over 13 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with hundreds of Schools and Local Authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually.

What is the Role?
In this role, you will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. With a focus on building and sustaining long-term local council and school relationships, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, expand our service offerings, and ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. As the majority of our key client relationships are with local councils, we are looking for someone with knowledge of how they operate.

4. Line Management and Support Coordination

   • Lead, mentor, and manage junior member(s) of the team focused on bid/application writing, tender management, and client-related administration.

   • Provide oversight to ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently, supporting smooth client interactions and consistent follow-through.

   • Work with other area leaders, to ensure strong delivery of services.

5. Bid Management and Process Improvement

   • Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and bid applications, working closely with junior member(s) to ensure high-quality and timely submissions.

   • Continuously review and improve internal processes to optimise bid management, client onboarding, and service delivery.

   • Report on bid submission performance, review bidfeedback to continuously improve. 

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Detailed knowledge of the UK education sector. 

• Experience working in the education sector or with local authorities, particularly in roles involving SEND or children’s services.

• Proven track record in client relationship management, with experience in sales or partnership development roles.

• Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face and telephone interactions, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-lasting relationships.

• Experience managing a small team, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high-performance standards.

• High level of empathy and commitment to supporting vulnerable and underserved communities.

Main duties and responsibilities

Manage the DUK project portfolio

• Become a subject matter expert in applied and translational research in DMD, allowing informed decision making and effective communication with key stakeholders
• Support identification of new project and collaborative opportunities, including the ongoing management and delivery of our applicant-led funding call
• Support the Director of Research and Development in project scientific review, working with the Scientific Advisory Board, Patient Advisory Board, Senior Leadership Team and DUK Board of Trustees
• Manage project development and initiation, including contracting, the development of detailed project plans, including go/no-go milestones, and budgets
• Manage and oversee project delivery, including monitoring of progress, according to agreed timelines and deliverables (including written updates and formal reports), and managing project finances, including reviewing and approval of invoices and monitoring project expenditure
• Support research budget forecasting in liaison with the finance team and the Director of Research and Development, and ensure compliance across the project portfolio
• Build and manage relationships with external partners and maintain regular communication through the project life cycle

Research governance and processes

• Support the Director of Research and Development to ensure compliance with the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) requirements, such as - contributing to annual data collection and surveys; implementation of AMRC processes and reviews recommendations, as relevant; keep up to date with relevant news and opportunities for training, collaboration and networking

Support the Director of Research and Development on the following external engagement activities

• Development and implementation of outreach and engagement activities in the DMD patient and research community to inform areas for research focus and prioritisation
• Scoping and development of formal and informal strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholder organisations (e.g. membership societies, other charities, consortia etc)

Support delivery of DUK flagship strategic programmes

DUK has strategic programmes in clinical research access and capacity, care standards and care access, assistive technologies and patient data. Under the oversight of the Director of Research and Development and working closely with the relevant programme team:

• Coordinate key programme updates and discussions between the DUK team and the programme teams
• Working with DUK comms team, support the development of external comms and marketing
• Working with the Director of Research and Development and the programme teams, support development of new initiatives and external funding opportunities

Other key responsibilities

• Provide general research admin support (e.g. arrange research meetings, both internal and external, prepare agendas and take minutes)
• Work with DUK comms team to identify case studies and success stories and support the development of the research comms strategy

In 2020, Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation (RNCSF) was appointed as delivery partner for the DfE’s Broadening Educational Pathways (BEP) scheme. The scheme’s ambition is to secure independent day and boarding school bursary placements and access to partnership activities for care experienced children. Since its launch more than 300 children in and on the ‘edge of’ care (“Care Experienced & Vulnerable Children – CEVC”) have been supported to thrive within over a hundred participating schools. Partnerships have been established with more than 80 local authorities.

We are looking for a Regional Coordinator on a fixed term contract of two years to work 0.5 FTE, 39 weeks per year, working out of Christ’s Hospital School.  As regional coordinator you will need to combine excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement with strong organisational skills to ensure operational management. You will work with Local  Authorities and schools in the SE division of HMC to support care experienced and vulnerable children to access bursary support at independent day and boardign schools.
