Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for our service users. You will provide immediate support to individuals experiencing crisis situations, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance and access to emergency services where required. Working calmly and professionally, you will respond to out-of-hours enquiries, offer first-contact advice, and treat all service users with dignity, respect, and compassion, even in challenging circumstances.

You will be responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and smooth running of the building during night shifts, including carrying out regular health and safety checks, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, conducting building patrols, and responding appropriately to emergencies such as fire alarms or other incidents. The role also includes recording maintenance issues, supporting the upkeep of the premises, completing cleaning duties, and ensuring all project records are maintained accurately in line with procedures. Working closely with management and on-call support, you will help ensure policies and procedures are followed while contributing to a safe and positive environment for both service users and colleagues. Additionally, you may support wider organisational objectives through collaboration on service development opportunities and the retention of existing services.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of housing management, including maintenance and repairs, and be able to accurately maintain records, follow established policies and procedures, and use computer-based systems to document work and client information.

You will have experience of working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges and a good understanding of the signs, symptoms, and treatments associated with mental illness, enabling you to identify changes in a service user's wellbeing and take appropriate action. About the Role

With no appointment necessary, service users can access a community built on prevention and crisis support.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The Alessia Project is a commissioned independent service based in Newham, supporting individuals aged 16+ who sell sex and/or experience sexual exploitation. Working within a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and person-centred framework, the service empowers individuals to make informed choices about their lives while accessing tailored support. Through strong multi-agency partnerships, service users are supported with a range of needs including housing, finances, health, emotional wellbeing, therapy, and safeguarding. The project prioritises autonomy and empowerment, while recognising and responding to the vulnerabilities, risks, and exploitation that can be associated with survival sex work.

As an Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocate (IDSVA), the role involves providing specialist advocacy and high-quality support to sex workers and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments and safety planning, managing a caseload of high-risk clients, representing victims at MARAC, making safeguarding referrals, delivering outreach and drop-in support, and working collaboratively with police, health, housing, and community organisations. Using a strengths-based and harm-reduction approach, the IDSVA supports individuals to increase their safety, confidence, independence, and overall quality of life while ensuring their voice remains central to all aspects of support and decision-making.

The role requires experience of supporting individuals involved in both on-street and off-street sex work, alongside a strong understanding of the barriers they may face when accessing services. A thorough understanding of risk assessment, safety planning, safeguarding, and the impact of trauma is essential, as is the ability to effectively support individuals with complex and multiple needs.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, record-keeping, administrative, and time management skills, with experience of managing a caseload and maintaining accurate case records. They will be confident working within multi-agency environments, building strong partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector agencies, and contributing to processes such as MARAC. A sound knowledge of housing law, welfare benefits, legal remedies available to survivors, safeguarding legislation, and the legal framework surrounding sex work is highly desirable. Above all, the role requires someone who can build trusting, non-judgemental relationships, empower service users to achieve their goals, remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate a commitment to collaboration, service user involvement, and continuous professional development.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and supporter-focused Challenge Events Officer to help deliver an exceptional experience for Thames Valley Air Ambulance’s London Marathon 2027 participants and wider challenge events community.

Your role

Working closely with the Events Manager, you will lead on the recruitment, delivery and stewardship of London Marathon 2027 participants, while also supporting other events across the challenge events portfolio. You will be the main point of contact for participants, providing outstanding supporter care from registration through to event day and beyond, helping each person feel motivated, supported and valued throughout their fundraising journey.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of the challenge events programme, with a primary focus on recruiting, supporting and stewarding London Marathon 2027 participants.
• Providing excellent supporter care from registration through to post-event thank you, helping participants feel informed, motivated and valued.
• Keeping in regular contact with participants by phone, email, post and in person to encourage fundraising activity and maximise income.
• Supporting recruitment through digital campaigns, partnerships and enquiries, and helping to share supporter stories with colleagues across marketing, communications and volunteering.
• Coordinating event administration and logistics, including registrations, fundraising packs, participant tracking, event-day support and accurate CRM records in Dynamics 365.

About you

You will be a confident communicator with excellent customer service skills and a warm, professional approach to building relationships. You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will bring strong attention to detail, good administrative skills and a genuine enthusiasm for charity fundraising.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience of building positive relationships, delivering excellent customer service and communicating clearly with a wide range of people.
• Is highly organised, able to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines, and brings strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Understands charity fundraising, is motivated by the difference supporters can make and can work with others to achieve income goals or targets.
• Is confident using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records, with experience of fundraising databases or digital platforms being an advantage.
• Is positive, enthusiastic, flexible and professional, with a can-do attitude and willingness to support occasional evening or weekend activity.
• Experience of events fundraising, supporter engagement, digital fundraising platforms such as JustGiving, or motivating runners and challenge event participants would be an advantage. A UK driving licence and access to your own car would also be desirable.

Therapeutic Management

• To manage and support a staff team, including the Head of Active Recovery, a Counselling Lead, Nexus Counselling Manager, a Family Support Group Facilitator, and administrators.

• To oversee all of the charity’s therapeutic services and ensure that efficient and high-quality services are delivered.

• To be the charity’s Designated Safeguarding Lead to respond effectively and efficiently to safeguarding concerns.

• To ensure staff are sufficiently trained in adult and child safeguarding and that training records are kept up-to-date.

• To oversee the charity’s pre-trial therapy processes and be a point of contact for the police.

• To develop and improve the charity’s therapeutic services, including any expansion of the services.

• To manage therapeutic recruitment, inductions and training.

• To hold monthly staff meetings and service team meetings when needed.

• To oversee the individual and group supervision arrangements and reporting for all staff. 

• To manage and have overall responsibility for the ongoing use of an online Case Management System, ensuring that data is inputted accurately for reporting purposes.

• To support the charity’s quality assurance and development of its services through monitoring  and responding to client feedback and outcomes data.

• To develop the charity’s survivor voice work and ensure that the charity’s services are informed by survivors and their lived experience. 

• To manage any complaints raised by clients. 

Leadership

• To work collaboratively as part of a Leadership Team to make decisions and resolve issues affecting the day-to-day running of the charity and management of its staff team.

• To strategically plan and develop the therapeutic services of the charity.

• To develop relationships with partner agencies and professionals to raise awareness of our therapeutic services and strengthen our work.

• To build and maintain a positive working relationship with the Board of Trustees.

• To attend and contribute to trustee meetings and trustee working group meetings, reporting on the therapeutic services and any clinical matters arising.

Client Work

• To provide one-to-one counselling for survivors of abuse of all genders, both online / by phone and face-to-face, with a caseload of approximately 4 clients. 

• To maintain confidential and accurate counselling notes of all sessions.

• To attend monthly one-to-one clinical supervision with a supervisor approved by the Southmead Project. (Supervision is a requirement of this charity as members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

• To attend monthly one-to-one line management meetings.

• To work to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical guidelines.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Working with individuals, community groups and clubs you will build meaningful relationships and deliver excellent supporter experiences, increasing engagement and maximising fundraising income. Job Summary

The Senior Data and Analytics Officer plays a key role in ensuring the organisation's data is accurate, accessible, secure, and used effectively to drive informed decision-making. Responsible for managing, analysing, and reporting on data across multiple systems, including Raiser's Edge NXT and third-party platforms, the role leads on data integration, reporting solutions, data quality, and GDPR compliance. Working collaboratively across fundraising, finance, marketing, HR, and operational teams, the postholder transforms complex data into actionable insights, supports strategic planning, and champions best practice in data governance and analytics across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain key organisational data sources, with a focus on Raisers Edge NXT and other core systems
• Manage ETL processes (Extract Transform, Load) for importing and integrating data from external platforms such as JustGiving, Eventbrite, and survey tools.
• Undertake routine data entry and, following proper procedures, ensure that information is accurately entered in the organisation's CRM (Raisers Edge NXT).
• Working with our Finance Team, reconcile and process donations from various sources including BACS donations, Standing Orders, Stripe credit cards donations, JustGiving, and CAF.

About the service

Safenet delivers specialist services across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse through safe accommodation, community services, recovery support and prevention work.

This role is based at Jane’s Place which provides 24‑hour accommodation and specialist support for women who are experiencing domestic abuse and who want to address substance use, mental ill‑health, or other complex needs as part of their recovery journey.

At Jane’s Place, many of the women we support have been excluded elsewhere. We don’t see “complexity” as a problem to manage, but as a response to trauma – and recovery as something that happens in healthy relationships, community, safety and hope.

This service sits at the intersection of domestic abuse, addiction recovery and mental health, and we are proud to offer a psychologically informed, trauma‑responsive environment where women are supported to rebuild their lives on their own terms.

About the role

As Service Manager, you will lead and be accountable for the refuge and lead a skilled, compassionate team delivering round‑the‑clock support to women and their children.

You will be a values‑led leader who understands recovery, trauma and risk, and who can balance clarity and accountability with warmth, curiosity and care.

You will:

• Lead and support a multidisciplinary refuge team working with women affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse and mental ill‑health
• Create a culture of psychological safety, reflective practice and trauma‑informed care
• Oversee the safe delivery of a 24‑hour residential service, including participation in an on‑call rota
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding, risk management, and housing management
• Work in partnership with recovery services, mental health providers, criminal justice partners and local authorities

• Use lived experience insights, feedback and data to continually shape and improve the service

With this role you’ll be working as part of Family Support and Safegurarding team within Ashfield Children's Social Care. This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027

Working as part of the new multi-disciplinary safeguarding teams (FSST) alongside Children’s Services, Domestic Abuse services and Mental Health, the Recovery Coordinator will coordinate a package of support and care to the adult substance user, enabling them to improve safety and resilience, in relation to substance use and the associated safeguarding risks.

Responsibilities

About the role: 

• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary safeguarding team to provide appropriate co-ordination and interventions that help to reduce the impact of substance use. Types of interventions to include, engagement and assessment, time focussed whole family, group and 121 psychosocial based.

• Undertaking direct work with families and parents, utilising recognised evidence-based interventions that build resilience and enable positive changes to family functioning.

• Supporting the effective safeguarding of families through contribution to multi-agency plans, timely identification of risks, vulnerabilities and responding accordingly via appropriate assessment, safety planning and onward connection and referrals to the relevant services where required.

• To work closely with local Social Care Teams and other associated family support services

• To promote family members involvement to improve outcomes for children.

• To provide effective case co-ordination for all the family in support of the children’s Child Protection or Child in Need Plan.

• Active participation in agreed supervision and development meetings.

• Review ongoing care and support liaising closely with the full range of specialist workers across the multi-disciplinary team both within CGL Nottinghamshire and the Family Safeguarding Team ,

About you: 

• Experience of working with families with complex problems in one or more of the following fields: social work; youth offending; substance misuse; probation; health; family work; education; youth and community
• Ability to manage behaviors of distress in a calm and professional manner
• Knowledge of current legislation surrounding young people, families and safeguarding practice. Eg - the Adfam and Think Family reports
• Sound working knowledge of Child Protection
• Sensitivity in working with complex and diverse cultural family issues
• Experience of working with families and individuals where children have a Child Protection or Child in Need Plan in place.
• Experience of delivering training and groupwork
• Sound working knowledge of the impact of hidden harm, honor based violence, child sexual exploitation and FGM
