The General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches (GA) is the central charity that supports its member congregations, ministers and societies in England, Scotland and Wales. Its purpose is to promote free and inquiring religion, through inclusive, free-thinking communities that draw on wisdom from all sources, without doctrine or dogma. Our congregations are autonomous and locally led; the GA is not a hierarchical leadership body, but one that supports and leads alongside our members.
As Britain’s religious culture and context has changed, so have Unitarian communities, and the GA is in a process of adapting to best meet these changing needs.
The purpose of this role
This is a new role, created as part of a restructuring of the GA's operational team. The Administrative Coordinator is the human face of the GA's operational work. This is a role for someone who is genuinely energised by working with people - warm, organised, and reliable - and who combines administrative excellence with the wish to maximise the potential of others.
You will provide the day-to-day administrative and coordination support that keeps the GA's work with congregations, ministers, and members running smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for many people who engage with the GA, and your ability to connect - to listen, to follow through, and to make people feel empowered, inspired, and part of something that matters - will shape their experience of the organisation.
We think of this role as needing three things in equal measure: people skills, administrative excellence, and organisational ability. Plenty of people are strong on one or two. We're looking for someone who ideally brings all three but we appreciate that's a bit of a unicorn, so please don't let that put you off applying.

About EJF
The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is a global non-profit organisation working to protect the natural world and our fundamental human right to a secure environment. EJF has a diverse team of campaigners, filmmakers and community mobilisers working across four continents, united by a shared ambition: to protect people by protecting the planet. Help strengthen the organisation behind the UK’s professional voice and trade union for midwives and maternity support workers.
Location: Hybrid, with travel to London and across the UK as required
Applications close: 9 a.m. Monday 12th October 2026
Who we are
The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) is the membership organisation, professional association and trade union for midwives and maternity support workers across the UK.
We support our members throughout their careers, from education and training through to the day they leave the profession. Our work is guided by members and focused on improving their working lives, amplifying their voices and building our midwifery community.
The RCM plays an important role in maternity services, workforce issues, professional leadership, campaigning and public policy. Our members need an organisation that is influential, responsive and trusted, with the systems, insight and confidence to support them well.
About the role
The Chief Operating Officer will help the RCM turn its strategy into disciplined, inclusive and member-focused delivery.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, Board, Executive Team and colleagues across the four nations, you will strengthen the business engine behind the RCM’s purpose. This includes financial planning, governance, risk, compliance, digital, data, CRM, operational performance, supplier management and organisational improvement.
The role comes at an important stage in the RCM’s development. We have made significant progress in working as One RCM, bringing together our professional association, trade union, membership and business functions around a shared commitment to members. The next COO will build on that work by improving financial grip, strengthening data and insight, developing clearer systems and helping teams work with greater confidence and accountability.
What we are looking for
You will bring significant senior leadership experience in a broad organisational role, such as COO, Deputy CEO, Chief Executive, Director of Corporate Services, Director of Resources or a comparable position.
You will understand how to build strong business infrastructure, improve systems and lead change through people. An accounting qualification is not required; however, you will have experience delivering strategic financial management. Importantly, we need someone confident with governance and risk, who is interested in how data, CRM and insight can improve member experience and decision-making.
You do not need to have worked in an organisation exactly like the RCM. Experience in a membership organisation, professional body, trade union, charity or values-led organisation would be helpful, but we are also interested in leaders from other settings who bring the judgement, curiosity and humility to understand our distinctive role.
If you connect with the RCM’s purpose and can help strengthen the organisation that supports midwives and maternity support workers across the UK, we would be pleased to hear from you.

You’ll work directly with residents who may be navigating challenges linked to mental health, substance use, trauma or contact with the criminal justice system. Day to day, you’ll build trusted relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate the right support at the right time, ensuring residents are prepared for successful move-on. We prevent homelessness, provide safe places to live and give people the opportunity to rebuild their lives and transform their futures. And we never give up.
We’re here for Londoners wherever they are on their journey. We start with trust, building relationships that help people feel safe, supported, and ready to move forward. Every day, we put people first in everything we do, challenging injustice and barriers that keep people from the safety, stability and opportunity they deserve. We stand alongside people as they rebuild and shape a future that feels their own.
Joining Single Homeless Project means joining a team that’s bold, compassionate and determined to do better for the people we support and for each other. You’ll work alongside colleagues with lived experience, in a space that’s trans-inclusive, disability-friendly, and actively striving to be anti-oppressive and equitable.
We’re not perfect, but we’re real. We listen. We learn. And we push forward, together. Because this isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to lead with empathy, spark change, and help build a London where no one is left behind.

Designer
Hours: Full time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £37,456 per annum
Location: King's Cross, London N1C – Hybrid (Minimum 2 days in office per week)
Who are we?
Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art. With over 148,000 members, we are leading the way in pioneering support for an inclusive and welcoming museum and gallery sector across the UK.
We work closely with a network of over 1000 museums and respond to their needs and aspirations. We're excited to see how they want to develop: to expand and diversify their collections and workforce, develop curatorial skills, make ambitious acquisitions, and create a welcoming, inclusive space for communities. With the support of over 148,000 members who buy a National Art Pass, patrons, and donors we can provide grants, encourage visiting and advocate for museums' essential role and value.
We have diversity, inclusion, and sustainability central to our thinking and the opportunity to be a force for good, galvanise support and help change things for the better inspires our team.
The role
We’re looking for a Designer who cares about the craft as much as the idea — someone who finds real satisfaction in getting things right, whether that’s a multi‑page publication, a set of digital assets, or a single piece of artwork that needs to be perfect down to the smallest detail.
This role sits at the heart of our Creative Team. Most days you’ll be deep in design lead - precision creative artworking: building high‑volume digital and social assets, shaping long‑form documents, preparing print‑ready files, and making sure everything is brand‑consistent, technically robust and ready to go. Alongside that, you’ll take on genuine design work — developing concepts for campaigns, events and digital formats, and bringing ideas to life across multiple channels.
You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to translate Art Fund’s visual identity / brand story across print, digital, social, environmental and campaign formats. Some days that means designing stage comps or signage for Museum of the Year, other days it’s delivering a full suite of digital and social assets, each one crafted with the same attention to detail, or building decks and mock-ups that help people see the idea clearly.
If you enjoy a balance of design and production (the thinking as much as the making) and you take pride in work that’s accurate, thoughtful and beautifully executed, then this is a lovely role for you.
