About the team

The Water Industry Partnerships Team develops and supports WaterAid’s relationships with water companies and the wider water industry in the UK. We inspire and manage volunteers, steering the development of high-income corporate

events, and build opportunities for water company employees and customers to connect with our work.

About the role

As our Engagement and Stewardship Officer, you will be responsible for the central coordination and delivery of all team communications requirements. This includes employee and volunteer engagement, content requirements for events and strategic projects, donor reporting and building a bank of case studies.

In this role, you will:

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality content and communications across the Partnerships team to support fundraising, stewardship, and partner engagement
• Create and deliver an annual calendar of employee engagement and partnership communications
• Own the production, update, and continuous improvement of standard partnership fundraising and stewardship materials
• Create and maintain a bank of high-quality case studies and visual assets for partner-supported projects, including Sanitation and Water Operator Partnerships (SWOPs), and to support pitches and proposals
• Produce case-study-led proposals and donor-facing reports in line with contract
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

• Experience generating audience-specific content and engaging communications, particularly for partners, donors or external stakeholders
• A thorough, methodical approach to research and planning
• Proven ability to manage a busy workload and deliver across multiple projects/teams
• Confident external engagement: written, verbal, presentation, and face-to-face.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Experience and knowledge of sustainability / corporate responsibility
• Experience of the voluntary sector
• Experience of the water industry and/or other utilities.

The role

Young Scot is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial and delivery-focused leader to help shape and drive a step-change in how we generate income and build partnerships. 

This is a pivotal role at a defining moment for the organisation with the recent appointment of a new CEO, as well launching a new organisational strategic vision. As we evolve our operating model and ambitions, you will lead the development of a more diverse, sustainable and innovative income portfolio - ensuring we can continue to deliver meaningful impact for young people aged 11–26 across Scotland. 

Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team (SLT), you will design and implement a new income generation strategy, unlocking opportunities across corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, public sector funding and earned income streams. The role

Cruse Bereavement Support is the UK's leading bereavement charity, offering free support to people affected by grief. As we expand our national volunteering team, we are recruiting a National Volunteer Administrator to provide accurate, timely, and well-organised administrative support across the full volunteer lifecycle.

This is a newly created role and a key part of building a more robust national volunteering infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining volunteer records, processing applications and compliance documentation, supporting training administration, and providing general coordination support to the team.

The Role:

The Donor Engagement & Communications Lead will creatively bring together the right people, information, and messaging to demonstrate the impact of philanthropy and partnerships at the Festival, and deploy appropriate strategies to maximise donor satisfaction and retention.

Able to write and develop content for a range of donor constituents on a variety of artistic forms, they will ensure fundraising is integrated into communication channels at all levels, and that frontline fundraisers on the team are equipped with the materials and content they need to grow and maintain fruitful donor relationships.

They will work closely with fundraisers and colleagues across the Development team to lead and manage the donor recognition and stewardship programme, as well as develop reports, updates and activities that connect supporters directly to the impact that they enable.
