We have two exciting opportunities for SLTs (one adults focused and one paediatrics focused) to join the RCSLT and contribute to a diverse range of work, from supporting member enquiries and shaping projects around SLT practice and workforce sustainability, to contributing to consultations, endorsement requests and key professional issues.

The RCSLT is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK. The RCSLT has over 24,000 members and employs around 65 staff predominately based in a London office. The RCSLT also has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.
Our mission is to improve the lives of people with communication and swallowing needs by facilitating and promoting research, producing guidance, holding events, and influencing government. We aim to promote better education and training for speech and language therapists and provide information to our members and the public about speech and language therapy.
The role
The role will provide timely, evidence-informed clinical and professional advice to support members and colleagues across the RCSLT, including member enquiries, SLT practice projects, consultations, endorsement requests and resources to support workforce resilience and sustainability. The postholder will work collaboratively across the organisation and with RCSLT’s volunteer Clinical and Leadership Advisors and professional networks, using data, research and professional insight to inform advice and identify emerging issues and opportunities affecting the profession. They will also horizon scan developments in clinical practice and the SLT workforce, contribute to relevant events and workstreams, and provide clinical content to support RCSLT communications and member engagement.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, and you’ll be comfortable facilitating, collaborating, influencing and adapting your communication to different audiences, as well as building and maintaining professional networks.

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. The team leads research across a range of policy areas, produces Centrepoint’s Youth Homelessness Databank, analyses national and local data, and translates findings into clear policy recommendations. It also supports external influencing, engaging with Government, Parliament, local authorities and other organisations to ensure evidence is used to shape policy and improve outcomes for young people.
Hybrid Working

Budget and Strategic Management
● Support organisational financial decision-making through financial analysis, management accounts, budget monitoring and variance reporting.
● Attend regular month-end finance meetings with the Treasurer and General Manager to review financial reporting.
● Develop and maintain templates for recording budgets, cashflow, freelance payment schedule and continuously improve financial systems and processes.

● Gift Aid Claims: Maintain accurate Gift Aid records and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements. Reconcile GoCardless transactions with supporter databases (RABBLE Rousers) and prepare and submit quarterly Gift Aid claims.
● Theatre Tax relief (TTR): Coordinate with the organisation's accountant on eligible Theatre Tax Relief claims, working with project leads to maintain accurate production cost records and provide supporting financial information.
● Grant Reporting: Support project leads with providing financial evidence packs and spend validation reports back to external institutional funders.
Payroll, Pensions & Tax
● Payroll Processing: Work with the payroll provider to support monthly payroll processing, ensuring statutory deductions are accurate.
● Pensions: Oversee pension administration and employer contributions for eligible employees.
● PAYE Administration: Support the onboarding of new PAYE staff by ensuring required payroll, tax and pension information is collected and accurately recorded.
Reporting & Audit Support
● Management Accounts: Assist project leads in preparing termly variance reports for leadership.
● Reporting: Prepare quarterly finance report for Trustee meetings
● Budget Tracking: Monitor organizational cash flow and alert leadership to potential financial risks.

Essential Requirements
● Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hands-on bookkeeping, finance administration or management accounting.

The Greater Gola Landscape, covering approximately 350,000 hectares and straddling the Sierra Leone-Liberia border, is one of the largest remaining blocks of Upper Guinea Forest. It supports exceptional biodiversity and provides critical ecosystem services, including climate regulation, water conservation and resilience for local communities.
The Gola Programme is implemented through a partnership between the Conservation Society of Sierra Leone (CSSL), the Gola Rainforest Conservation Leadership Group, the Society for the Conservation of Nature of Liberia (SCNL), the Governments of Sierra Leone and Liberia, local communities and the RSPB.
The programme aims to conserve this globally important forest ecosystem and its exceptional biodiversity, while contributing to climate change resilience, water conservation and sustainable livelihoods and resilience for communities living in and around the landscape.

Introduction to the role
The Digital Communications Coordinator will coordinate the digital communications for Surrey Coalition of Disabled People as well as the projects/networks that we coordinate such as The Independent Mental Health Network (IMHN).
Purpose of the role
To lead on the coordination, design and delivery of vibrant and engaging communications for The Coalition.
We want to expand our reach and increase our engagement.
