About us
Foxglove is a non-profit that exists to make the use of technology fair for all. When Big Tech companies abuse their power, their workers or the planet – and when governments use technology to oppress, exclude or discriminate – we litigate and campaign to fix it.
Big Tech companies have become so large – gobbling up a huge slice of the global marketplace and an unprecedented treasure hoard of user data – that they’re now more powerful than many states. The harmful effects of this concentration of power are everywhere – threats to our democracy, to our privacy, decimated workers’ rights and platforms rife with disinformation and hate. Big Tech and AI data centres are rapidly expanding, resulting in huge strain on energy and water supplies. Worldwide governments are ploughing ahead with the use of algorithms and mass data systems to cut costs and increase efficiency often resulting in digital tools that entrench unfairness and leave the most vulnerable in society in crisis. All these problems are only getting worse with generative AI.
Foxglove works to bring the rule of law to the tech and AI giants who have upended our public square, workplaces, and social lives. We have a strong track record. We’ve launched landmark cases seeking structural changes to big tech’s harmful business models, supported 180+ Facebook content moderators fired for trying to form a union to sue Facebook and their outsourcing company, Sama – winning world-first judgements. We're urging competition regulators worldwide to stop Google’s theft of independent news. We’ve filed the UK’s first legal challenge to a data centre permission decision over the government’s failure to properly assess their environmental impact. We’ve forced disclosure of secret contracts between tech giants and the NHS, stopped a racist Home Office visa streaming algorithm, helped make grading fair for UK A level students, forced the government to pause the NHS Data Grab and challenged the Department of Work and Pension’s use of an algorithm unfairly flagging disabled people for benefit fraud investigations.
We are a small but growing team of lawyers, communications experts, and campaigners. Our work is global, and we work in partnership with lawyers, civil society, unions, and people impacted by Big Tech.

About Black Thrive Global
We exist to change the odds stacked against Black people by embedding race equity into systemic change so that thriving is not the exception but the norm.
Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.
Black Thrive Lambeth – Communities Workstream Overview
The Communities Workstream sits at the heart of Black Thrive Lambeth’s model and is the primary mechanism through which the organisation remains deeply connected to Black residents across the borough. Covering communities from Waterloo to Central Hill Estate, the workstream focuses on Black adults and their wellbeing, ensuring that lived experience directly informs strategy, systems change, and service design.
This workstream is responsible for building, maintaining, and nurturing relationships at grassroots level—with residents, community leaders, and Black-led organisations doing vital work across Lambeth. It acts as a bridge between community insight and institutional decision-making, ensuring that Black voices are not only heard but embedded within policy and practice.
The Communities Workstream plays a critical role in:
· Creating and holding trusted community spaces for dialogue, healing, and collective action
· Supporting community-led initiatives and amplifying grassroots leadership
· Facilitating co-production between residents and statutory partners
· Translating community priorities into practical recommendations for systems change
The workstream also underpins Black Thrive Lambeth’s strong relationships with Lambeth Council and other statutory partners, providing a credible, community-informed route for collaboration and influence. We are looking for an exceptional, value-driven candidate who can hit the ground running as our Legal Education Officer, working closely with the Director and the rest of our small and dynamic Right to Remain team.
The person must be someone who understands the Right to Remain ethos and is prepared to bring their whole self to our organisation. Needless to say, the role requires an impeccable grasp of the asylum and immigration system and its operation on the ground, including how it impacts our community of people seeking asylum, refugees, migrants, their families, friends and allies. It requires an ability to help and guide our community to navigate the complex and hostile asylum and immigration system.
You will be working closely with the Director and the rest of our small and dynamic Right to Remain staff team: another Legal Education Officer based in Leeds (generally) covering the North, the Organiser based in Manchester leading our mighty These Walls Must Fall, and the Engagement Officer based in London. In particular, the post holder will be closely coordinating their work with another Legal Education Officer in Leeds. The post holder is also expected to be already embedded in the local and regional asylum and migration field, familiar with its dynamics and able to tap into their existing relationships and connections with local groups and actors.
We are proud of Right to Remain’s unique and bold approach that really believes in collective power. We are focused on building knowledge, radical solidarity and the power of our community. We show up authentically at work and for our community, always giving our 100%. We are determined and calm amidst the crisis and chaos of the world. We know that now is not a ‘business as usual’ time, and we need to meet the moment as the anchor organisation for the migration justice movement. That comes with a lot of responsibility but we also carry it with lightness. We want our new team members to be similarly passionate, ambitious and compassionate.
With the rest of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and increasing usage of our highly popular and accessible resources about the asylum and immigration system, most notably the Right to Remain Toolkit. You will deliver interactive workshops on the legal system for people navigating that system as well as professionals and volunteers. You will engage with our network of community groups to ensure that we are apprised of developments on the ground and we are communicating important changes to these support groups. You will also work with the Director and other colleagues to develop and deliver specific public legal education projects, when necessary. You must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences, in a manner that reflects Right to Remain’s mission and values.
Right to Remain is a national migration justice organisation, creating a world where everyone can exercise their right to remain where they need to be

Are you a registered physiotherapist seeking a fresh challenge? Are you looking to further develop your leadership capabilities and looking for your next career opportunity? Do you want to use your knowledge, skills and experience to support other physiotherapists, students and support workers?
As a Professional Adviser for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), you can achieve this and more. We have an exciting opportunity to work with members, services and stakeholders in Northern Ireland for someone who wants to broaden their experience, influence decision-making and contribute to shaping the profession.
You will be a UK-resident, have recent or current experience of working within the health system in Northern Ireland, and ideally be based in, or within easy travelling distance of Northern Ireland to meet the requirements of the role and engage in member-facing activity.

The CSP has a network of regional and country teams across the UK to support our members wherever they live, work or study. You will join a country multi-disciplinary team with CSP colleagues from policy, communications and the trade union to develop robust networks and engage members. This role therefore requires excellent communication, influencing and networking skills to enable members to understand, evidence and articulate the value and impact of physiotherapy to influence local decision-making.
It doesn’t stop there. You will be part of a team of professional advisers who provide peer support and a professional advice service to CSP members. There are numerous development opportunities to work as part of other corporate teams, giving you access to a range of experiences such as lobbying government, influencing press and media coverage and working with local physiotherapy services to shape commissioning strategies and decisions.
