We're looking for a strategic and relationship-focused fundraiser with experience leading complex, high-value fundraising campaigns. You'll be equally confident working with major donors, senior colleagues, Trustees and volunteer leaders. You'll combine excellent judgement with strong planning skills, bringing together people, resources and fundraising strategy to deliver ambitious campaign goals.

While initially focused on The Art Works, you will have a longer-term remit to help shape future capital fundraising priorities that emerge from our strategic ambitions. You’ll personally progress high-value donor relationships while ensuring fundraising campaigns are strategically structured, insight-led, appropriately resourced and effectively delivered.

You'll help broaden our philanthropic reach by expanding a strong and diverse prospect base across local, national and international audiences. This includes developing approaches to high-value and discreet funders and making the best use of senior volunteers and networks.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will:

• Provide excellent strategic management of capital fundraising campaigns across the organisation, with an immediate focus on The Art Works as well as responsibility for supporting the planning and delivery of future campaigns, including the Mound Level Galleries redevelopment and other major capital priorities.
• Contribute to the development of long-term capital fundraising strategies, campaign plans and prospect pipelines to support future organisational priorities beyond The Art Works, ensuring continuity of donor engagement and campaign readiness.
• Translate campaign strategy, timelines and gift table requirements into clear delivery plans and actions across teams.
• Monitor progress toward income and activity targets, identify variances early and recommend tactical adjustments based on internal insight and external conditions.
• Lead the development and maintenance of campaign reporting, including dashboards, risk logs, income phasing and governance papers.
• Engage directly with major donors, trusts and foundations to cultivate, solicit and steward high-value gifts, working with senior colleagues, Trustees and Campaign Board members as appropriate to maximise outcomes.
• Oversee and direct cultivation and stewardship activity across the capital campaigns team, ensuring delivery of agreed fundraising strategies and a structured and strategic approach to progressing prospects and delivering income targets, while working closely with the wider Development team to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to donor engagement.
• Expand the philanthropic prospect base by identifying new opportunities and supporting approaches to high‑value or discreet funders.
• Oversee the preparation of high‑quality briefings, materials and follow‑up for senior‑level donor meetings and solicitations.
• Coordinate all donor hospitality activity for the campaign, liaising with colleagues across the Development team and other teams as required, including events, briefings, site visits and other cultivation opportunities.
• Lead the implementation of donor recognition and stewardship frameworks, ensuring consistent, high‑quality supporter experiences.
• Ensure operational readiness for the public phase of the campaign, coordinating colleagues across Development, Communications and Visitor Experience to create effective giving pathways and engagement opportunities.
• Provide day‑to‑day direction to the Development Manager – Capital Campaigns; the Campaigns Coordinator and other team members (to be brought in on a temporary basis as required at key campaign stages) to support high standards of documentation, planning and internal communication.
• Promote collaborative, inclusive working practices across the team and wider organisation.

Who we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following range of knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Significant leadership experience in capital or multi‑year fundraising campaigns with £multi-million targets.
• Experience of developing and sustaining a portfolio of high net worth prospects at 5, 6 and 7-figure levels including discreet and invite-only funders.
• Experience modelling and managing fundraising cash flow, campaign pacing and income phasing across multiple fundraising priorities, ensuring alignment with organisational and project delivery requirements.
• Ability to expand donor networks at local, national, and international level.
• Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to influence, articulate complex ideas and inspire support.
• Experience planning and delivering high‑quality cultivation events and donor engagements.
• Strong understanding of fundraising sector trends, major donor behaviour and the philanthropic landscape.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, including Directors, Trustees, volunteer fundraising campaign board members and other high‑level advocates.
• Strong knowledge of UK charitable giving and tax considerations relevant to fundraising.
• Highly motivated, with the ability to act on initiative while exercising good judgement about when to involve others.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with confidence interpreting financial, pipeline and performance data.
• Experience using CRM/database systems such as Spektrix or similar.

It would also be great if you have

• Experience of fundraising for multiple capital projects and transitioning donor relationships between successive major campaigns. Knowledge of the arts, culture, heritage, community engagement or education sectors.
• Understanding of how environmental sustainability, climate action and low‑energy design influence contemporary philanthropic priorities.
• Enthusiasm for the mission and work of the National Galleries of Scotland.
• Experience of fundraising in an international context, particularly in North America and Asia.

You will represent UKSR at community events, recovery walks and conferences and get involved in defined projects.

Giving and receiving feedback, gathering data and other evidence to inform service development, and exercising reflective practice are all essential attributes.

You’ll also contribute to key projects that move SMART Recovery forward, adding your voice and insight to help shape what comes next. The role therefore requires project mangement skills as you will work on specific projects that develop our publications, training, communications and marketing. If you have a special interest and expertise in certain areas of our business such as social media and campaigns, training, volunteer management or copywriting we can develop this skill and interest as an enhancement to your role. Developing areas of expertise within our Co-ordinator team is something we are keen to do. 

As this is a home-based role, you’ll need to be comfortable forming meaningful relationships online, building trust and connection via email, phone, and video calls. We’ll provide the equipment you need, but you’ll bring the energy and adaptability to make remote working feel personal and productive. Regular travel across the defined regions is a vital part of the role, visiting SMART Recovery meetings in the community and within partner organisations, and offering continual support to facilitators, are all essential in helping our network continue to grow with the quality we strive for.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Events and Engagement Coordinator to provide excellent operational support to the Engagement Directorate to enable Mission 44 to build meaningful funder relationships and deliver impactful experiences. 

The role sits at the intersection of the donor experience, events and supporting the functionality of the wider, newly established Engagement Directorate. It will have two priorities: to provide administrative and operational support across the team, including to the Chief Engagement Officer, and support the Events and Engagement team to execute first-class events.

This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. A successful candidate will enjoy bringing structure, organisation and effective processes to a busy team. They will have high attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and a rigorous approach to project and task management.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EVENTS COORDINATION (60%)

• In collaboration with colleagues support the planning and delivery of Mission 44's events, including fundraising and stewardship dinners, receptions and roundtable discussions, as well as trackside hospitality and donor experiences. 

• Manage invitations, RSVPs and attendee communications, acting as a first point of contact for events attendees, providing exceptional customer service. 

• Coordinate event logistics, including venue bookings, catering, accessibility requirements and wider production supplier management.

• Support the preparation of live event materials, briefing packs, attendee lists and run sheets.

• Support the wider Fundraising team with securing sponsorship, ticket sales, and securing auction items. This includes production of targeted collateral for outreach. 

• Work closely with the Fundraising Data and Operations Manager to ensure that events and donor data is updated accurately and in a timely manner to our CRM system (Virtuous). 

• Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure events materials are aligned with brand and messaging. 

• Provide on-the-day event support, including registration, stakeholder hosting and logistics management.

• Support the production of  post-event evaluation, feedback collection and reporting.

ENGAGEMENT TEAM OPERATIONS (40%)

• Coordinate internal team meetings, workshops and planning sessions.

• Schedule meetings and support diary coordination for internal team meetings, and select high-level funder meetings for the Chief Engagement Officer. 

• Prepare agendas, take minutes and track actions arising from meetings.

• Arrange domestic and international travel, accommodation and itineraries for team members and guests.

• Support budget tracking, purchase orders and expense administration.

• Maintain team trackers, project plans and operational documents on Monday. com 

• Act as a key point of contact for administrative and operational enquiries.

• Ensure data quality and compliance with organisational processes with the Fundraising Data and Operations Manager. 

ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

• Experience supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of events, with a strong interest in developing a career in event management.

Could you be our new Fundraising and Events Coordinator at Destitute Animals Shelter?

We're looking for someone who not only loves and cares for animals but is also resilient and resourceful in dealing with humans! If you're the sort of person who isn't afraid to develop and try out new and creative ideas to put us out into the community, but who is also well experienced in raising funds and running events that make a real financial and social impact, this could be the role for you.

This is a brand-new position within our Shelter's small team of dedicated staff and volunteers. Everything we do is in service of our mission to Rescue, Love, Repeat, taking in animals who have nowhere else to go, giving them the care they need, and finding them the homes they deserve. You'll report to the Chair of our Fundraising and Promotion Committee and work closely with our Operations Manager, with strategy and support offered throughout. Your role will be operational, with a focus on delivery and community engagement, and you'll be encouraged to make your own mark on it as we grow.

Destitute Animals Shelter has developed a Fundraising Strategy for 2025 – 27, and we're looking to diversify our income streams to make sure we're hitting the financial targets that cover the rising costs of the good work we do daily at our Shelter. With support from the Committee, you'll help shape that strategy as well as deliver against it.

What You'll Be Doing

Fundraising:

• Support the delivery of the DAS fundraising strategy and income targets.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with individual supporters, local businesses, community groups and donors.
• Research and identify new fundraising opportunities, grants, sponsorships and community partnerships.

Title: Programme & Events Coordinator

Reports to: Associate Director of Business & Operations

Salary: £28,000 - £31,500 (dependant on experience)

Location: Primarily home-based with hybrid working – however, must be willing and able to travel, representing the charities as and when required. Attending meetings and events nationally and internationally.

The Role

Arrhythmia Alliance and its two sister charities (AF Association and STARS – Syncope Trust) is one of the world's leading heart rhythm charities, delivering internationally recognised educational programmes, medical conferences, awareness campaigns patient educational events, awareness programmes and exhibiting at congresses to promote and deliver our work.

Working alongside and reporting to the HRC Manager, you will coordinate the planning and delivery of healthcare professional conferences, patient education events, our programmes, awareness campaigns and digital programmes across the UK and internationally.

You will provide day-to-day project coordination and administrative support to ensure programmes and events are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Event & Programme Coordination

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of conferences, meetings, webinars, exhibitions and events.
• Support the HRC Manager with the day-to-day coordination of multiple projects and event timelines.

· Coordinate venue bookings, accommodation, travel, catering, audio-visual requirements, faculty invites, registration and event logistics.

· Maintain project plans, action trackers and planning documentation.

Coordination & Communication

• Act as a day-to-day coordination contact for faculty, venues, suppliers and delegates, referring decisions and complex queries to the HRC Manager as appropriate.

• Ensure information is shared accurately and promptly with everyone involved in each project.

Event Delivery

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position with the working week consisting of Monday to Thursday 9.00am–5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break, and Friday 9.00am-5.00pm with

30-minute lunch break.

Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to work occasionally outside normal office hours to support conferences, meetings, educational programmes and charity events. This will include occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight stays and international travel. Flexibility is a key requirement of this role.

The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. Woman’s Trust is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recovery from the trauma. About the role

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention of volunteers across Woman's Trust.

Working closely with managers across the organisation, the postholder will oversee the end-to-end volunteer journey, ensuring volunteers receive a positive, inclusive and well-supported experience from application through to departure.

The role will coordinate recruitment for all volunteer opportunities, including volunteer counsellors, facilitators, administrative volunteers, finance volunteers, fundraising volunteers and other volunteer roles as required. The Communications Co-ordinator plays an important role in helping MindOut communicate its impact, services, campaigns and community voice to a wide range of stakeholders.
