Our office is a short walk from King’s Cross station in London. For this role, you’ll need to come into the office as required to deposit cheques. Additionally, the team comes into the office during busier periods, such as financial year-end and audit, to collaborate with auditors (June/July). You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time. We encourage all colleagues to visit member hospices to help inform our work and you may be able to work from there.
Contractually this role is London-based.
Contract: Maternity Cover until the end of December 2026. Full time role - 35 hours per week.

Hospice UK is recruiting a Senior Corporate Development Executive to support and grow our commercial partnerships portfolio, working closely with the Corporate Development Manager and Corporate Development Executive.
This role will help to build relationships with over 80 businesses across all industries including healthcare, finance, insurance, digital, sustainability and more, generating more than £420k each year to support Hospice UK’s work.
The role
You will support all aspects of Hospice UK’s commercial partnership activity, helping to build, steward and develop long‑term relationships with corporate partners, who want to collaborate with hospices. This includes working directly with organisations to secure sponsorship, exhibition space and partnership opportunities. Personalised communications will help move businesses from one‑off activity to longer‑term strategic partnerships.
A key part of the role involves conferences and events. You’ll help secure exhibitors and sponsors for our annual National Conference (1,000+ attendees) and our one‑day conferences, supporting activity from launch through to delivery, including marketing materials, pipeline management, proactive sales and administration.
You’ll also support the Hospice UK Jobs Board, an income‑generating platform promoting careers in hospice and end of life care, contributing to sales and marketing activity, managing job postings and supporting performance analysis and development.

You’ll have strong experience in sales (from the third, private or public sector) and be confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior corporate contacts.

NCDA is seeking a motivated Policy and Advocacy Officer to support the delivery of a multi-year project focused on advancing national and regional implementation of global noncommunicable disease (NCD) commitments, and to coordinate PAA’s input into global accountability processes, and regional advocacy programs and global campaigns, with a particular focus on government relations and accountability.
The Policy Advocacy and Accountability team (PAA) is looking for a Policy and Advocacy Officer to play a key role in delivering integrated planning across these programs, and key elements of these plans, as outlined:

Tracking NCD Accountability processes and coordinating PAA’s policy development and engagement

Support PAA’s tracking and engagement with the WHO process for the extension of the NCD Global Monitoring Framework (GMF).

Assist in drafting materials, including consultation submissions, policy briefs, and advocacy tool content, to provide information to policymakers and partners.

Support global accountability policy development, coordinating network feedback, and liaising across the PAA unit for detailed advocacy content and inputs in specific impact areas.

Regional advocacy and implementation support

Coordinate PAA priorities and input into the Advocacy Institute’s Regional Programme to help Regional Alliances hold governments accountable for UN High-Level Meeting (HLM) commitments.

Support Advocacy Institute (AI) regional alliance engagement in global advocacy campaigns with a specific focus on global accountability policy development and advocacy, the 3rd NCD Financing Dialogue (Manila, September 2026), and UHC accountability processes (e.g. UHC-ACT), and the build-up to the UN HLM on UHC.

Support regional strategy development, including the utilization of existing PAA content and the creation and delivery of advocacy and accountability tools for priority topics.

Coordinate policy inputs from PAA for Capacity Development-led activities, primarily the regional alliance convenings and NCDA’s Global Forum in 2028.

Coordinate PAA contributions to Advocacy Institute Alliances’ engagement with WHO Regional Committee Meetings (RCMs).

Government Relations and Systems Coordination

Liaise with the Capacity Development (CD) team to improve systems and coordination for government contacts and intel sharing, particularly in countries with AI national and regional alliances.

Identify opportunities to showcase national and regional NCD policy successes on the global stage.

Support cross-unit improvements in planning and managing government relations between the PAA unit as well as capitals and regional intergovernmental bodies corresponding with AI grantees.

Maintain and update systems for tracking interactions with partners, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

Support the planning and delivery of key events in the run-up to the Global Week for Action Campaign (GW4A).

Support planning, development, and delivery of a strong campaign during the GW4A.

Work closely with the Comms and GW4A team on campaign deliverables in the lead up to the GW4A, to be held mid-September (date TBC) on the theme of Leadership and policy implementation.

Support the transition of campaign focus from HLM4 toward UHC HLM-related calls in 2027.

Role description / person specification:
You would undertake research to identify new potential funding partners, write grant applications, and manage successful partnerships. Experience in fundraising from trusts / foundations in particular would be an advantage. The ability to draft inspiring narratives for different audiences is a crucial aspect of this role. Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. For more than 40 years, we have been delivering essential health and medical care to those most affected by conflict, displacement and occupation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody passionate about MAP’s work with a keen eye for detail, looking to enhance their data processing skills, to play a key role in maintaining MAP’s Dynamics 365 CRM system through a period of significant development. With Dynamics 365 introduced in 2024, the Supporter Database Officer will support the Charity with vital data imports. The postholder will work with a wide variety of data types with varied requirements including, but not limited to individuals, corporates, trusts, foundations, volunteers, campaigners, institutional donors, community groups, and challenge event participants. To enable this, they will work closely with the Supporter Care Team, Finance Team, wider Fundraising team and other internal stakeholders at MAP.
The management of financial data will feature prominently in the day-to-day responsibilities of the potholder. Collaborating with MAP’s Finance team, third party payment providers and external suppliers, the postholder will support the secure and efficient processing of payments data. The postholder is responsible for supporting complex data imports, applying accurate coding, and supporting financial reconciliation to monthly deadlines.
The Supporter Database Officer will work closely alongside the Senior Supporter Database Officer and Supporter Database Manager. In addition, they will support the work of the Performance & Insights team within the Fundraising team and the technical CRM lead in the Technology team.
Key Responsibilities
The Supporter Database Officer is responsible for supporting the effective operation of MAP’s Dynamics 365 CRM system, with a particular focus on data imports, income processing and data quality. The role involves carrying out regular and complex data imports from payment providers, response handling agencies and internal teams, ensuring secure data handling and adherence to established processes. The postholder supports ongoing improvements to import procedures and contributes to maintaining clear documentation.
A significant part of the role involves supporting accurate and timely income processing. Working closely with the Finance team, the postholder applies correct coding to income, assists with daily and monthly reconciliation processes, investigates discrepancies across systems and helps maintain appropriate audit trails and financial controls.
The role also supports CRM development and system enhancements by working with colleagues across Fundraising to understand requirements and assisting with testing new functionality or third-party integrations. The postholder ensures compliance with MAP’s data protection policies, maintains accurate consent and suppression records, and escalates any data quality or compliance concerns as needed.
In addition, the Supporter Database Officer responds to data queries from internal stakeholders, supports reporting and data selection requests, contributes to user documentation and training, and deputises for the Senior Supporter Database Officer when required.
About You
You will have experience working with CRM systems or large datasets and an understanding of data import processes. You will possess strong Excel skills and be willing to develop your technical knowledge further, including SQL. Experience supporting income processing and financial reconciliation is desirable, alongside an understanding of CRM system design principles.
You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies. You will be organised, adaptable and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
An awareness of GDPR, fundraising regulations and financial controls is essential. Experience within a charity CRM environment, supporting fundraising communications or working with supporter data, as well as familiarity with SQL or data visualisation tools such as Power BI, would be advantageous.

As with every recruitment role, you’ll need to be organised and proactive with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Crucially, you’ll have the knowledge and interpersonal skills required to manage stakeholder relationships and expectations and you’ll be able to coach and guide hiring managers through the full recruitment lifecycle. You’ll also care about creating inclusive hiring experiences and reducing bias in recruitment, with the ability to positively challenge, advocate for change and identify how we can improve our processes.

What you’ll focus on:
- Delivering end-to-end recruitment campaigns for a variety of non-managerial and high-volume roles.
- Partnering with hiring managers to shape fair, effective, and creative attraction strategies.
- Advising on inclusive selection methods, interview best practice, and safer recruitment compliance.
- Using data and insights to continuously improve recruitment outcomes and candidate experience.
- Collaborating with the wider Talent Acquisition team on transformation initiatives, including ATS (Eploy) optimisation.
