London Gypsies and Travellers (LGT) challenges social exclusion and discrimination, working for change in partnership with Gypsy and Traveller communities living on council caravan sites, roadside camps, in bricks and mortar housing, and those experiencing homelessness.

We offer accommodation advice and advocacy, family services and a youth mentoring programme that support hundreds of families and individuals each year. Our community development, research, policy work and campaigns are rooted in community involvement and lived experience and aim to create long-term positive change for Gypsies and Travellers across London and an end to the discrimination they face every day.

About the role

This Operations & Administration Coordinator role is a diverse and hands-on role, covering a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that are essential to the smooth, efficient running of the organisation. It's a part-time position for three days (21 hours) a week.

You will provide day‑to‑day operational coordination across IT systems, office management, finance administration and HR processes, alongside varied administrative support. Acting as a central point of contact, you will work closely with colleagues, external suppliers and advisors to ensure our working environment, systems, policies and processes are practical, compliant and support staff to do their best work.

The role works with all staff and external suppliers, particularly the Resilience Strategy Lead, Finance Officer, CEO and external IT support providers.

We’re looking for an ambitious Partnerships Officer (internally Executive) to help drive income by supporting and building profitable, long-term partnerships with individuals and organisations. Working within the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, the role of the Partnerships Executive is to deliver excellent relationship management to maximise income revenues.

• Manage a portfolio of corporate supporters <£10k ensuring they meet their maximum giving and engagement potential.

Supporter Relations Executive

 

The Supporter Relations and Fundraising Operations team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is a key point of contact in the charity for supporters and members of the public and ensures the highest standards in operational processes and compliance, in order to ensure a first-class supporter experience.

The Supporter Relations Executive will be responsible for delivering supporter facing engagement activities ensuring delivery of an excellent experience for every contact, recognise opportunities to increase supporter loyalty, and generate the maximum amount of income for dementia research. This role primarily works within the Supporter Relations sub- team alongside other Executives. To ensure appropriate resourcing across the wider team and maintain SLAs, the role will also carry out donation processing and other operational tasks relating to supporter activities, where required.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Supporter Enquiry Management

· Provide exceptional supporter care, ensuring every supporter and member of the public enjoys an outstanding experience when engaging with the charity, in all communications: inbound telephone calls, emails, social media messages and enquiries by post.

· Respond to a wide range of enquiries including marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials, within a timely and professional manner. 

· Receive and respond to feedback and complaints from members of the public and supporters, as the first point of contact in the team, escalating where required.

· Ensure the integrity of the CRM database, Salesforce, by amending supporter records accurately, including coding of and processing donations.

· Promote fundraising, engagement and retention opportunities when communicating with supporters, using a range of initiatives to explain the positive impact of their donations in contributing to the charity mission, ‘for a cure’.

· Ensure formal guidelines and best practice are adhered to in relation to Direct Debits, Gift Aid, FR codes of Fundraising Practice, Gambling Commission, and Data Protection Act.

Supporter Stewardship:

· Engage in outbound telephone calls and written communications to increase the value of, or to retain supporters; this will include thanking, stewardship activity, obtaining Gift Aid declarations and vulnerability checks.

· Support the Fundraising Relationship team to manage accounts specific to their regions, to ensure excellent supporter stewardship.

· Effectively and consistently seek opportunities to build networks among our fundraising community, ensuring these are directed to appropriate fundraising teams.

· Seek opportunities for repeat fundraising, by identifying opportunities and engaging with supporters as part of our re-engagement process.

· Manage the supporter follow‑up process to ensure funds are received promptly and accurately. 

·  Engage supporters in the best practice in ‘in aid of’ fundraising policies and deliver promotion of this opportunity.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

· Experience of working in a customer facing role.

· Experience of handling queries and complaints.

· Confidence working with computers – good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases.

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

About the role:

You will be part of our administrative team providing support across a range of functions within the HS and VTU; managing Excel spreadsheets and internal databases; inputting and raising invoices; managing calls to and from a range of people including those bereaved by homicide and generally supporting the Homicide Service and VTU to run smoothly. You will be able to demonstrate the excellent organisational skills essential to managing a demanding and diverse workload.

Here at the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Charity we fund, facilitate and champion world-class specialists to transform the lives of heart and lung patients. We provide clinicians, academics and researchers across London and beyond with the funding and resources they need to understand more, prevent more and treat more.

Our funding comes from the fundraising efforts of thousands of supporters as well as income generated by our investments in property and equity markets. We currently grant around £6 million each year – but we want to do more. 

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to play a central role in supporting the delivery of our HR and Operations functions.  This position is vital to ensure that all activity is recorded accurately,  that systems run smoothly and stakeholders receive an exceptional level of support.

You will be responsible for supporting the Charity's HR processes throughout the lifecycle of employees, sourcing and booking training and contributing to various HR and operations projects. In addition, you'll act as a point of contact for operational issues across the charity’s two sites (Chelsea and Harefield), ensuring safe, well-managed, and well-supplied working environments.

As an integral member of the fundraising team, the Fundraising Administrator will support the delivery of a range of successful fundraising activity based around the centre, in order to maximise income for Maggie’s.   

As Fundraising Administrator, you will welcome and support visitors within the centre in their fundraising for Maggie’s as well as in the local community and ensuring they are motivated, informed and supported.

The organisation supports children, young people and families facing bereavement, as well as parents and carers of children with life-limiting conditions, providing specialist services, training and support across the UK. This People and Culture Administrator role is available on a permanent contract and part-time basis (20-28 hours a week). The salary on offer for this role is £26,500 FTE. This is a hybrid role, where your time will be split between the Gloucester office and home working, with occasional UK wide travel to events and meetings.

Within this People and Culture Administrator role you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the People and Culture Team across staff and volunteer recruitment, onboarding, documentation, data management, record‑keeping, inbox and calendar monitoring, reporting, meeting support, and responding proactively to queries, while carrying out additional agreed tasks as required.

To be successful in this role, you will be a flexible and collaborative team player. You will have excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to work quickly and accurately with data. You will have strong IT capabilities and the confidence to use your own initiative. 

Desirably, you will have previous experience in HR or administrative-focused role and/or experience

working in a charity.

About You
The Events Administration Assistant is responsible for supporting the Events Operations Manager with ensuring the accurate management of registrations, financial processes, documentation and stakeholder communications providing successful operational delivery of the Society’s full programme of events and will play a key role in maintaining high service standards for delegates, speakers and partners while supporting the smooth delivery of conferences and meetings.

The postholder will maintain and update event databases, including processing registrations, amendments and cancellations, process events payments, and provide administrative coordination for these events, including registration management, speaker communications, documentation and logistics tracking.

The successful candidate will have experience in a customer facing role with excellent communication and organisational skills and have excellent attention to detail.
