Centre 404 is looking for an experienced and ambitious Fundraising & Engagement Manager to lead and grow our fundraising and engagement activity—helping us provide vital support to people with learning disabilities and their families. 

You will oversee the development and delivery of innovative fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, and engagement campaigns, ensuring sustainable growth and increased visibility for the organisation.  As an expert in your field, you will work collaboratively across teams and with external partners, to champion Centre 404’s mission within local communities and beyond.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead Fundraising Strategy - develop and deliver a dynamic fundraising strategy across multiple income streams. Identify new opportunities and drive year‑on‑year income growth.
• Engage & Inspire Supporters - build strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and local communities.  Create compelling fundraising campaigns, events, and cases for support. Nurture long‑term supporter loyalty, including legacy and in‑memory giving.
• Secure Grants & Manage Bids - research and secure funding from trusts and foundations.  Monitor reporting requirements and maintain excellent funder relationships.
• Grow Community & Corporate Partnerships - network widely to raise Centre 404’s profile.  Secure financial support, gifts in kind and employee engagement.  Support individuals and teams to succeed in their own fundraising efforts.
• Strengthen Communications & Impact - work with the Communications Team to create engaging digital content and newsletters.  Champion consistent, mission‑driven messaging across all platforms.
• Lead with Purpose - Embed a fundraising culture across the organisation.  Implement a CRM system to manager data effectively. Contribute to organisational strategy as a member of the management team.

About You

• Substantial experience in fundraising from at least one of the following: trusts and foundations, corporates or individual giving.
• Substantial understanding of charity sector regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical fundraising standards.
• Knowledge of donor stewardship and supporter engagement strategies.
• A track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising targets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and campaigns.
• Excellent project management, data monitoring, and CRM experience.
• A proactive, innovative mindset and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Campaigns Coordinator to deliver our current high-impact campaigns with a view to exposing the cruel animal agriculture industries, influencing decision-makers, and mobilising the public to create lasting change for farmed animals.

Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming. The Campaigns Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and work closely with others across our UK and international teams. The appointee will play a key role in coordinating and inspiring volunteers and external stakeholders.

The Campaigns Coordinator will have opportunities to travel across the UK and internationally to organise and lead peaceful demonstrations, ensuring Animal Equality maintains a visible, strategic, and compelling presence at key decision-making moments. While not common, occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to support campaigning activities. Any additional hours worked and agreed with your Manager can be reclaimed as TOIL.

You will work closely with, and be based regularly within, Catalyst’s Women’s Support Centre, supporting services working with women affected by domestic abuse, on their journey of recovery and living with complex trauma.

Alongside this, the role is designed to grow into the strategic and operational leadership of Catalyst’s wider Specialist & Outreach portfolio, bringing coherence, quality and sustainability across services working with people experiencing multiple disadvantage.

The role is line managed by the Director of Services and you will play a key role in shaping the future operating model for specialist and outreach services.

About you

We are looking for candidates with:

• A relevant professional qualification in mental health, substance use, criminal justice, social care or a related field and/or substantial equivalent professional experience, with a strong applied understanding of trauma-informed and outreach-based practice.
• Significant experience working in specialist, outreach or community-based services, supporting people experiencing multiple disadvantage, including exploitation, domestic abuse, substance use, mental ill-health and criminal justice involvement.
• Proven experience of managing staff and services in complex environments, including line management, supervision, and leading programmes or projects within operational settings.
• Strong Safeguarding knowledge and sound professional judgment with experience of holding safeguarding decisions in multi-agency contexts.
• Demonstrable ability to combine hands-on operational leadership with strategic thinking, including service development, performance improvement and change.

YOUR PURPOSE

To research, develop and secure funding, projects and opportunities that deliver DMWS’s charitable objectives and to support ongoing stakeholder management to ensure positive relationships.

This involves researching and applying for funding and contract tender opportunities to support the armed forces community and other frontline services. This will include Trusts and Foundations, corporate partnerships and tenders with organisations that include the military, police, NHS, Fire service and other organisations with frontline roles.

The aim is to secure funds and opportunities to support DMWS beneficiaries and to increase DMWS footprint.

The role will also require report writing to present evidence of DMWS delivering effective value for money and positive impacts for our beneficiaries in line with the funder’s requirements. An ability to also promote our outcomes through case studies and social media posts would also be advantageous.

Travel will be required and some occasional overnights stays can be required.

Purpose of the post

The Finance Business Partner plays a crucial role within HDR UK, as the key point of contact and financial support for the Institute Office teams. The Finance Business Partner supports key non- finance stakeholders to provide timely and insightful analysis and reporting and supports with the alignment of financial plans to operational and strategic priorities. The role will support the Institute Office as well as some of our separately funded programmes. The Finance Business Partner is responsible for the management of the Institute’s support costs and recharges, and therefore plays a pivotal role in the long-term financial sustainability of HDR UK. The role is responsible for maintaining clear and effective communication between the Finance team and the wider business and for ensuring that financial concepts and priorities are understood by the Institute Office and programme teams.

Main responsibilities

• Work with Budget Holders to manage financial performance, forecasts, and budgeting including understanding financial opportunities and risk for the area of business partnership.

• Lead on monthly reporting to the Institute Office and Programme teams, including posting month end journals, meeting with Budget Holders to discuss performance and budget variance and providing commentary and analysis on reports.

• Provide donor reporting and analysis as required to funders of specific programmes.

• Work with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to plan, deliver, and review the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

• Support the Associate Director of Finance and Head of FP&A to continuously review and update the 5-year financial plan.

• Support with projects and new process development to continuously improve and evolve our approach to internal financial reporting and modern finance business partnering.

• Support the Finance Business Partnering function with ad hoc reports and grant management and reporting.

The Role

As the Financial Controller, you will report to the Finance & HR Director and support the Finance & HR Director in leading day-to-day financial operations, taking ownership of transactional accounting and month-end reconciliations. You’ll maintain the general ledger, ensure data integrity across systems, and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control functions. The role involves coordinating payroll, preparing management accounts and VAT returns, supporting budget preparation and assisting with year-end accounts and external audits.

You’ll also manage the Assistant Finance Manager and play a key role in the organisation’s financial stability and operational success.

In your roles, you will work closely with the Finance & HR Director to support the development and implementation of Financial Policies and processes and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the month-end reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including credit control activities, with support from the Assistant Finance Manager.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure data integrity between accounting systems.
• Coordinate payroll administration and liaise with external payroll providers.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with regulatory requirements.
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis throughout the financial year.
• Assist with external audit processes and year-end financial statement preparation.
• Support the Senior Management Team with guidance on Financial Policies and Processes.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hands-on finance role with transactional accounting responsibilities.
• Proven experience managing the month-end close and preparing management accounts.
• High-level Excel proficiency and ability to work with financial data confidently.
• Experience with accounting software (Xero experience is advantageous).
• Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Experience in the charity sector, including technical expertise in Charity SORP, is advantageous.

About the role

We’re looking for a senior digital marketing officer – email to deliver high performing email campaigns and automations to support the charity’s activity. You’ll work autonomously and collaboratively with all teams across Breast Cancer Now to deliver and improve our email marketing.

You’ll be working to optimise engagement of our communications, as well as the supporter experience of those receiving them.

Line managing the email digital marketing coordinator – email, you’ll support their development and maintain positive close working relationships across the charity.

About you

You’ll have a high level of email experience and technical knowledge of relevant email platforms (ideally Adestra) and delivering complex email campaigns and projects.

You’ll be passionate about delivering the best email experience and engagement and understand best practices and the importance of data and testing.

You’ll be well organised and have strong prioritisation and attention to detail skills, working across the organisation on a diverse range of email campaigns, advising on best practice.

The Finance & Operations Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the financial sustainability, compliance and operational effectiveness of the charity. The postholder will lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, rent and service charge accounting, housing benefit income and statutory reporting.

Alongside this, the role has strategic responsibility for office and refuge operations, including facilities management, health and safety, and central administrative systems.

Icon, the Institute of Conservation, is looking for an experienced and collaborative Groups and Public Programmes Lead to help us empower our volunteer community and bring the value of heritage conservation to wider audiences.

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, this new role will support Icon’s volunteer-led specialist Groups, helping deliver inspiring events, talks, training and activities that celebrate and share widely the importance of conservation.

You’ll develop and lead Icon’s public engagement programme – creating partnerships with charities, schools and community organisations, coordinating studio visits and workshops, and championing opportunities for conservators to connect with new audiences. The Role

The Marketing and PR Manager leads Devon Air Ambulance’s media relations, public relations, and integrated marketing activity to build awareness, advocacy, and income, shaping the organisation’s narrative through compelling PR and multi‑channel campaigns while safeguarding its reputation. They will manage proactive and reactive press activity, oversee social media strategy, produce and approve high‑quality content, and maintain strong relationships with media and stakeholders. The role works collaboratively across teams to create cohesive supporter journeys and develop patient and supporter stories. Additionally, the postholder integrates AI‑enabled and monitoring tools to enhance coverage and content quality, ensures brand and regulatory compliance, and line‑manages the Marketing and Communications Officer to support workload, development, and wellbeing.

You will create compelling content, lead multi‑channel campaigns, manage media relations, and confidently handle sensitive stories.
