This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery and ongoing evolution of our ambitious Trusts and Foundations fundraising strategy, securing transformational five- and six-figure grants that will drive our long-term impact and growth.
We're looking for an exceptional relationship-builder and communicator with a proven track record of securing five- and six-figure grants from Trusts and Foundations. You'll be confident translating complex data into compelling funding propositions and using your outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills to inspire support for our mission.

The service provides structured support and parenting assessments, helping mothers stabilise, stay in recovery and strengthen safe relationships with their children.
About the role
This role focuses on providing a safe, structured setting where risks can be understood properly, support can be put in place, and parenting capacity can be assessed with the child’s safety at the centre.

This is a new strategic role designed to transform how Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum understands, engages and retains its members. We have an established membership of over 39,000 supporters with insight data surrounding this. We're looking for someone who can turn that insight into action— using evidence to improve the member experience, strengthen retention and shape marketing activity that delivers measurable impact.
This is not a traditional marketing communications role. You won't be expected to create artwork, build websites or write every communication. Instead, you'll lead the planning, insight and coordination that ensures the right activity happens at the right time through internal colleagues, Forestry England and external suppliers.

What we’re looking for
The successful candidate will have significant experience of leading and managing governance and assurance functions within an organisation of similar scale, and be confident working with senior stakeholders, Boards and Committees.
You will need to be highly organised, able to build strong and effective working relationships, and capable of providing expert advice on governance, assurance, risk and regulatory matters.
Experience of working within a regulated environment, with knowledge of governance best practice and relevant legislation, would be an advantage.
We are looking for a candidate who can think strategically, solve complex problems, and work collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen governance practices and support organisational objectives.
