We are at an exciting time in our history, and this is a chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of our multi million-pound masterplan and engagement programmes. The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in all aspects of legacy and in memory fundraising and of project managing multiple campaigns across a range of channels, achieving and improving target revenues. You will have a track record in successful strategic planning, management and implementation of strategy and be a highly organised project manager able to work across simultaneous complex projects.

Your excellent leadership and people manager skills working and building high performing teams will be combined with strong financial management and analytical abilities. You will also be skilled in creative development and be an excellent communicator, able to influence at a senior level and to develop strong, successful, collaborative and influential working relationships. Southall Community Alliance is a charity working in Southall that is looking to recruit

Position Overview
The Project Coordinator will play a central operational role within the International Communities’ Organisation (ICO), ensuring that programmes across multiple country programmes are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget.

The role focuses on coordination, implementation oversight, reporting, and organisational support across ICO’s programmes in Cyprus, Kosovo, the Middle East, and Cameroon. Working closely with programme leads, the Project Coordinator will ensure that work plans are implemented as agreed, milestones and deliverables are tracked, and internal reporting and communications are maintained. 

This role combines project management, operational coordination, communications support, and administrative oversight, ensuring that programme heads can focus on strategic delivery while the coordinator manages cross-programme organisation and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

A. Project Coordination and Implementation Oversight 50%
Monitor implementation of programme workplans across ICO programmes.
Track milestones, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Ensure tasks are completed in line with agreed work programmes.
Identify implementation risks or delays and flag them early.
Coordinate across programme teams to ensure alignment and delivery.

Until a dedicated communications role is created, the Project Coordinator will support basic organisational communications, including:

• Supporting the coordination of press releases and media articles

Reporting Structure
The Project Coordinator will report directly to the ICO director and work closely with programme heads responsible for regional portfolios.

Interview Process
The recruitment process will take place in three stages designed to assess both the candidate’s professional capabilities and their suitability for working within a small, international organisation.

Stage 1 Remote Interview
The first stage will be a remote introductory interview. This conversation will focus on understanding the candidate’s background and overall suitability for the role. We will discuss previous experience supporting programmes or projects, coordinating with teams or stakeholders, and managing reporting or administrative processes. The discussion will also explore the candidate’s interest in governance, development, or international policy work, as well as their working style and overall fit with ICO’s team and values.

Stage 2 In-Person Interview
Candidates who progress to the second stage will be invited to an in-person interview. This stage will include a more in-depth discussion of the role. This will include further behavioural, situational and competency-based questions. This stage also allows candidates to ask questions and learn more about the team and how we work. Please note this stage may involve a short practical exercise to understand how candidates approach tasks similar to those they would encounter in the position. 

Stage 3 Final In-Person Discussion
The final stage will be a conversation with senior members of the organisation. This discussion will focus on the candidate’s overall fit with the team and organisational culture, as well as how they would operate within a small team supporting international programmes. It will also provide an opportunity to address any remaining questions or clarifications from either side. Our Information and Advice service provides rights-based information, advice and advocacy on Welfare Benefits, Social Care and Housing options; practical assistance with individual grant applications, accessing social tariffs, blue/purple badge and taxi card applications. The service is delivered through a range of channels, including face to face, telephone, email and digital, across Kensington and Chelsea borough.

The role is 21 hours per week.

Hours: 35 hours per week (1 FTE) or 28 hours per week (0.8 FTE, part time option).

Salary: £44,000 - £46,000

Location: This is a hybrid role, anchored to the Cardiff Carers Trust office 1-2 days a week. Flexibility to work from other Carers Trust’s offices around the UK. This role will require occasional travel across Wales and other parts of the United Kingdom.

The Programme Lead for Wales is a key role within the Wales Team, essential to steering Carers Trust’s strategy and improving support for unpaid carers across the UK. The postholder will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering national programmes in line with agreed project budgets, risk registers and organisational priorities.

We are seeking a passionate programme specialist with experience in programme development and income generation. The successful candidate will be entrusted to build and influence strong relationships across a wide network of stakeholders; therefore, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

As the postholder you will:

· Develop clear, evidence‑led programme specifications for carers of all ages, creating a compelling case that drives cross‑sector partnerships.

· Monitor programme performance within our UK social impact framework, ensuring targets are met and learning is captured and shared widely.

· Play a leading and positive role as a leader within the Wales team.
 

About Global Canopy and Trase

Global Canopy is a data-driven not for profit that targets the market forces destroying nature. We do this by improving transparency and accountability. We provide innovative open-access data, clear metrics, and actionable insights to leading companies, financial institutions, governments and campaigning organisations worldwide.

Trase is a data-driven transparency initiative that revolutionises our understanding of the international trade and financing of agricultural commodities which drive tropical deforestation. Its unique supply chain mapping approach brings together disparate, publicly available data to connect consumer markets to deforestation and other impacts in producer countries.

Trase’s free online tools and actionable intelligence enable governments, companies, financial institutions and civil society organisations to take practical steps to address deforestation. Trase is jointly led by the Stockholm Environment Institute and Global Canopy, with many further partners and collaborators. 

About the Role

This role will lead Trase’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning agenda. Working as part of Trase’s Impact Team, you will strengthen our evidence base on how Trase influences decisions of governments, businesses and civil society on commodity trade, building credibility with external stakeholders, including donors, and supporting the ongoing development of our theory of change. 

Trase has made a significant investment over the last decade in developing an initiative-wide culture for learning and knowledge-based decision making including an established and regularly reviewed Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) function and annual plan.

As we enter a new strategic period (2026 – 2030) we are seeking to further strengthen the MEL function and invest more in understanding how our data and intelligence influences decisions and the role of transparency in driving change.

Our work spans 6 outcomes with a focus on influencing decisions, priorities and building capacity of civil society governments and the private sector in key producer countries and export markets for forest risk commodities.

Responsibilities

1. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) strategy and implementation (20%)

• Lead the development and implementation of MEL strategy and annual work plan
• Quality assurance and coordination of MEL inputs from across the team. 
• Review and maintain MEL data collection and knowledge management tools.
• Build awareness and motivation for effective MEL across the team.
• Support the role of MEL in influencing the development of Trase’s theory of change, strategy and planning.

2. Monitoring and reporting (30%)

• Strengthen Trase’s monitoring framework including using new approaches to integrate qualitative data and better understand the significance of Trase’s contributions (including change stories and outcome harvesting) across our intermediate outcomes, long-term outcomes and impact goals. 
• Quarterly progress reporting of outcomes and outputs for internal management. 
• Support on donor reporting including drafting narrative reports and updating results framework. 

3. Evaluation and learning (50%)

Oversight of biannual external evaluations and annual review of effectiveness questions across sustainability, impact, relevance, effectiveness and efficiency.

• Support internal reviews and evaluations across Trase teams and partners.
• Strengthen Trase’s learning culture, supporting team leads on facilitating learning sessions, retrospectives and thematic evaluations on key topics and applying these lessons in planning and decision-making. 
• Bring evidence and insights for proposals and the development of Trase’s theories of change.

About You

Essential behavioural competencies:

Required skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience in successfully developing MEL processes and delivering MEL.

• Meticulous and precise with a high attention to detail.
• Worked in a similar environment of consortia and/or development/environment programmes.

Desired skills and experience:

• Experience working on sustainability and/or human rights related projects.
• Experience working in international and/or multicultural and/or multilingual environments.
• Any of the following language skills: Bahasa Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin.

This is a global recruitment with visa sponsorship available for relocation to the UK for candidates that do not already have the right to live and work in the UK. Candidates that already hold the right to live and work in Brazil or Switzerland are also eligible and would not be required to relocate unless desired. Candidates based in Brazil or Switzerland would need to be available to travel to the UK up to twice a year

In the UK the postholder will be expected to attend the office as required and at least twice a month. Global Canopy will support visa sponsorship if required.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £55,000 full time equivalent (note: salaries in Brazil and Switzerland will be benchmarked to local teams). This role sits within Band D on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.

Nature of contract: Full time or Part Time (60 – 100% FTE). Permanent contract. We are a flexible employer and welcome candidates wishing to work flexibly.

Base: In the UK our office is in Oxford, with flexible home-working arrangements in place. In Brazil and Switzerland we are fully remote working. We will support visa sponsorship to the UK for this position. Candidates wishing to work in Brazil and Switzerland will need right to work in these countries. 

Holidays: 36 days (including bank/public holidays) for discretionary use across the annual leave year. Option to purchase up to an additional 5 days or equivalent of one week’s leave.

Pension: Employer pension contribution of 8%.

About Khulisa

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime

Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. About the role

Khulisa has invested heavily in the development of its monitoring and evaluation framework, alongside augmenting its evaluation capacity and capability through innovation. This role brings together the synergies between systems and evaluation developments to support the organisation to grow both its impact and its reach through efficient ways of working and clear narration of its impact. This role will involve:

• Managing the day-to-day maintenance and smooth running of Khulisa’s main CRM and reporting systems, including – but not limited to – Salesforce, PowerBI, FormAssembly and Wonde.
• Leading the change management of system development work, supporting colleagues to engage with systems changes and achieve greater results for the young people we serve.
• Ensuring the day-to-day operating of Khulisa’s data recording, processing and reporting processes.
• Continually refining and improving Khulisa’s internal MEL capacity including our evaluation systems; organisational and programme Theories of Change; evaluation indicators; data collection tools and define system improvements.
• Supporting the scoping and design of new programmes by providing data from past programmes, insights from beneficiaries and service-users, research into best practice and offer ongoing guidance on establishing best practice MEL systems and processes.

This is a hybrid role, with the post holder required to work mostly from home but with access to desk space in our London office. Travel to various locations in London and the North-West of England may also be necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.
