Role Context
Recovery in Community is a collaborative initiative delivered in partnership between Gaddum and Manchester Mind. The service supports people to leave inpatient mental health settings and return to their community with the support they need to recover and remain well.
As a team, we deliver psycho-social interventions, advocacy, housing and welfare rights advice, peer support to adults as well as tailored support to young people (those under the age of 25).All we do is underpinned by listening and ensuring people feel heard – because we know that when people are listened to, they recover. The team works with colleagues within the mental health, primary care, inpatient and community sectors.
Role Purpose
As a Peer Support Worker, you will have lived or living experience of receiving mental health care or treatment in hospital. Using your expertise gained through this experience, you will support peers in their mental health recovery who are ready to leave hospital or are already in the community. Receiving support from your colleagues, you’ll develop and manage your casework practice and hold a small case load.
You will walk alongside people to set achievable goals to ensure they get the support that they need, ultimately feeling connected to their communities – the right services and support network.
This role will work with a small but intensive caseload (max 12 cases for a full-time peer support worker) to focus on:

About the Role
The OUT Side OUT Spoken Navigator supports male survivors and survivor allies as they prepare to leave prison or another secure setting and rebuild their lives in the community. The role provides intensive, trauma-informed support shaped around each person’s individual circumstances, including completing risk and needs assessments and developing a tailored support plan. You’ll help people navigate challenges around housing, healthcare, benefits, employment and community connections, working closely with prison, probation, health, social care and other partner agencies. The aim is to reduce barriers; strengthen stability and ensure people continue to feel supported throughout the transition from custody into the community.
About You
You’ll have experience of providing one-to-one support or advocacy to people with complex needs and be comfortable working with trauma, risk and the challenges that can accompany release from custody. Experience within criminal justice, mental health, housing, social care or community services would be particularly helpful, as would an understanding of sexual harms affecting boys and men. You’ll be able to build trusting relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries, manage competing priorities and work confidently with a range of partner agencies. Door of Hope supports women who sell sex in Tower Hamlets through advocacy, information, emotional support and practical help. About the role
Beyond the Streets is a UK charity with over 20 years’ experience partnering with women in the sex industry to support safety from coercion, violence and abuse. We provide trauma-informed, person-centred support, specialist training, and resources shaped by research, lived experience and practitioner insight.
This psychotherapy service was developed because many women supported by Door of Hope need flexible, accessible therapeutic support that mainstream services may not be able to provide. Based at our offices in Tower Hamlets, you will provide women-centred psychotherapeutic support to women with complex needs through in-person, online, telephone or blended approaches.

Major Donor Fundraising Manager
These are ambitious times for the Charity and we now have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and professional individual with outstanding relationship building and influencing skills to join the dedicated Fundraising Department.
Position: Major Donor/Gifts Manager
Location: East Devon, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty/Hybrid (site attendance currently estimated to be one day per week, flexible working patterns considered, where required)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 08.30-16.30, Monday-Friday
Salary: £41,200 per annum
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
As Major Gifts Manager, you will drive the development and delivery of the Major Gifts programme in line with agreed annual targets and the wider Fundraising Strategy. Working closely with the Head of Major Gifts, you will continuously evolve and strengthen the approach, ensuring a highly joined-up,
donor-centred model across the organisation, focusing on deepening high-value relationships,
increasing sustainable income, and building a strong, forward-looking pipeline of support.

Project Manager (CEO)
Following many years of exceptional service, which has seen Durham City Youth Project (DCYP) grow and develop, our current Project Manager (CEO) is stepping down from her post. The DCYP trustees seek to appoint a Professionally Qualified and Experienced Project Manager (CEO) who can demonstrate passion and enthusiasm to lead the Project into the next stage of its development.
DCYP has been supporting children and young people since 1933. We work across County Durham to provide youth work, counselling, sexual health education and wellbeing support for young people aged 8–19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs.
Our mission is to create opportunities that help young people develop confidence, resilience, skills and aspirations while ensuring they have access to trusted adults, positive activities and support when they need it most.
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive regardless of their background, circumstances or challenges.
Hours: 35 hours a week to work regular evenings and weekends
Salary: £33k – 37k per annum
Holidays: 6.5 weeks holiday (pro rata), inclusive of bank holidays
