About You & The Role

You are a natural builder who enjoys closing deals, developing relationships and creating meaningful social impact. You will shape and lead PBC’s first dedicated fundraising function, building a portfolio from the ground up with limited existing donor relationships.

The role focuses on securing six-figure corporate partnerships and cultivating high-net-worth individual donors, alongside a smaller trusts and foundations portfolio. You thrive in a strategic, relationship-led role and are comfortable using a broad range of fundraising approaches.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will secure funding to support long-term sustainability and expand PBC’s impact across London and beyond. Initially the sole fundraiser, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead a team as the function grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising Strategy Delivery: Take ownership of multi-year fundraising strategy working closely with the CEO and Board to diversify and increase revenue streams that support PBC’s service expansion and reach

• Relationship Management: Research, identify and cultivate funding opportunities from companies and high-net-worth individuals, alongside trusts and foundations

• Trusts & Foundations: Oversee the grant pipeline, with external support for high-value applications and build relationships with decision-makers

• Develop Compelling Fundraising Material: Collaborate with CEO and wider team to evidence, quantify and articulate PBC’s social value using data and storytelling to position PBC as a high-impact partner for donors and partners

• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and evaluate fundraising performance against financial and operational targets. Provide regular updates to the CEO and Board, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations, sector and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising best practices

• Proactive Self Starter: Though collaborative, you are motivated to build and maintain momentum, identify and create opportunities and take full ownership of projects from initial idea to delivery

• Commercial Development: Support development, sales and delivery of commercial income strategy, specifically helping to grow the paid membership scheme and securing sponsorship for commercial programmes and offers

War Child believes that children’s lives should not be torn apart by war. Philanthropy at War Child is entering a period of rapid growth and development. With income forecast to more than double and a significantly expanded prospect pool, the team is strengthening its focus on major donor relationship management, supported by new investment in data, insight and senior leadership.

The Philanthropy Manager is an established, donor-facing role, focused on building and managing a robust portfolio of major donors through excellent relationship management and strategic pipeline development. You will take ownership of your own donor portfolio, developing tailored cultivation and stewardship plans, converting transactional supporters into long-term partners, and delivering sustainable income growth. Reporting to and working closely with the Philanthropy Lead, and collaborating with the Data & Insights Manager and Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will play a central role in strengthening War Child’s core major donor programme and embedding a more data-led, strategic approach to philanthropy.

Please note that this is a hybrid role, with 1-2 days per week in the Camden office, with regular events and meetings in central London.

As Philanthropy Manager, you will:

• Manage and grow a personal portfolio of major donors through full-cycle relationship management, including regular face-to-face meetings with donors and prospects
• Identify, cultivate and steward prospects to secure five-figure gifts and long-term support
• Convert event-based and transactional supporters into deeper, strategic donor relationships
• Develop and deliver tailored stewardship plans, reports and donor communications
• Work closely with the Data & Insights Manager to build a more analytical, data-led pipeline
• Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager with donor strategy around events, prospecting and follow-up
• Maintain high-quality records, forecasting and reporting through Salesforce

Essential skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a major donor fundraiser with a track record of securing five-figure gifts
• Full-cycle experience across identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship
• Strong donor-facing skills with confidence building and managing senior relationships
• Experience writing high-quality donor materials, including reports and proposals
• Analytical and methodical approach, with experience using data to inform fundraising decisions
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and pipeline management
• Confident user of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce

Desirable:

• International development or humanitarian sector experience
• Experience leading on major donor events
• Advanced experience using Salesforce for analysis and reporting

Not required: Substantial events delivery experience; Prior line management experience

We are seeking an experienced humanitarian health operations professional to join our team. As our new Operations Manager you will join a newly created Operations function and play a key role in its development and success. Our operations are growing rapidly and we need someone who can thrive in providing excellent operational management alongside developing our systems and processes. You will manage a portfolio of programmes and responses both from the HQ and in the field.

Humanitarian health needs are growing. UK-Med is an NGO providing emergency health support in times of crisis and humanitarian emergencies. We provide clinical support, as well as training and capacity building for health professionals around the world, with particular focus on countries vulnerable to outbreaks, natural disasters or with weakened health systems due to complex emergencies. As a key partner of the UK Emergency Medical Team (EMT), we work closely with DFID and the WHO, but we are also growing our own programmes. Our work has never been more vital, with disease outbreaks and disasters becoming more frequent, complex and severe.

We provide humanitarian health surge support to health systems facing exceptional challenges. Our responses can range from individuals or small teams of technical experts providing advice and capacity building through to a full field hospital providing primary healthcare and surgical interventions.

You will have significant experience in humanitarian health operations including working in the field. The Finance & Operations Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for the financial sustainability, compliance and operational effectiveness of the charity. The postholder will lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, rent and service charge accounting, housing benefit income and statutory reporting.

Legacies form a key source of income for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), raising approximately £100m a year for our life‑saving research.

As a Legacy Manager, you will manage, protect, and optimise this income. You'll work alongside three other Legacy Managers, supporting the Head of Legacy Management to build on the team’s successes and to optimise the BHF’s income from gifts in Wills.

Joining a thriving team, you’ll undertake a variety of work, including managing casework in accordance with the law, best practice, and BHF’s processes and procedures, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical guidance to colleagues and potential legacy givers, and line managing two Assistant Legacy Officers and our Legacy Administrator.

About you

You'll either have extensive experience in legacy management within the charities legacy sector; or be a Qualified Private Client Solicitor; or be a Qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners; or be a Qualified Chartered Legal Executive with experience of Wills and Probate.

 Working arrangements  

This is a 12-month fixed term contract covering family leave. We are looking for someone to work 32 hours per week, flexibility around this working pattern or the 32 hours can be discussed.

 While the role is primarily focused on communications and general administration on behalf of the charity, it’s varied and active; you’ll regularly support events and be willing to get stuck in wherever needed.

 A full, clean driving licence is essential, as the role involves driving the charity van. Although exceptional candidates without one may still be considered based on other strengths.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and for general enquiries - managing the everyday admin — phone calls, emails, and unexpected (sometimes bizarre!) requests — with sensitivity and efficiency, filtering out what doesn’t need to reach senior staff.

· Communicate regularly with LGP’s network of community groups, schools, partners, and stakeholders across the PR postcode.

· Maintain friendly, professional communication with internal and external contacts in the public, private, and voluntary sectors.

· Support staff to ensure all communications reflect LGP’s tone, values, and visual identity.

· Ensure all volunteers have access to the volunteer handbook, and communicate policy updates in a timely and clear manner.

· Oversee LGP’s calendars to coordinate activities, sessions, equipment, van use, and resource availability — ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

· Promote and support the delivery of key events such as the Spring and Christmas Fairs, including marketing, logistics, and on-the-day coordination.

· Uphold health and safety standards and maintain accurate records related to activities, equipment, and participant engagement.

·Collate and format reports and presentations for funders and the board, using content provided by the team — ensuring they are visually engaging and aligned with our brand.

·Support team leads in building relationships with local businesses to increase community engagement and secure corporate support.

·Produce regular newsletters and updates for LGP’s website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, X), using tools like Canva to create engaging, on-brand content.

·Contribute to the creation and delivery of a wider communications and publicity strategy.

·Embody and promote the spirit, culture, and values of Let’s Grow Preston in everything you do.

·Any other duties reasonably required as part of the role.

Essential Qualities

•Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade A–C (or equivalent), including English and Maths

•At least 2 years’ experience in community engagement, project coordination, or similar roles

•Experience working with a diverse range of people — from those in crisis to professionals and politicians

•High level of IT competency, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to be social with a variety of different people.

With some fantastic corporate partnerships in place already, there is great potential to build on the existing foundations and leverage those corporate partnerships to secure more ranging from transactional right up to transformational.

The philanthropy function has green shoots to nurture and develop. This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to grow and shape this income stream, and demonstrate their personal impact on generating income, and providing donors with an incredible supporter experience.

This role would suit an experienced, corporate and/or philanthropy fundraiser with well-developed relationship management skills. Someone who is excited by the opportunity of shaping, developing and elevating these important supporters for the charity.

Guts UK are open to applications from those looking to develop their expertise and will be fully supported, should they not have equal experience in corporate partnerships and philanthropy. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience across areas such as corporate prospecting, pitching and account management. 

Guts UK is a small charity with big ambition so a background that includes working within a smaller charity would be helpful for the candidate to have but isn't essential.

STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention work disrupts the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.

The Fundraising Officer sits within our Development & Communications Team and will support on growing and delivering our fundraising and partnership pipeline. The Fundraising Officer will lead on donor administration, support the preparation of applications to trusts and foundations, contribute to individual giving initiatives, and help build philanthropic and corporate partnerships.

This is a varied role for someone who is a strong writer, both persuasive and strategic, and who is motivated to connect STOP THE TRAFFIK’s mission with funders and partners who share our vision and act as long-term investors in prevention.

This role will be responsible for:

Funding Development & Applications

· Research potential funding opportunities to develop a consistent pipeline of relevant trusts and foundations, and write/submit applications for these opportunities.

· Create supplementary documentation needed for applications including budgets, MEL frameworks, timeline documents and theory of change frameworks.

Relationship Management

· Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing funders, partners, and individual donors through regular communication and stewardship.

Individual Giving & Activity Fundraisers

· Maintain and strengthen relationships with individual donors through regular communication and stewardship.

· Coordinate activity-based fundraising events, including the London Marathon, to maximise income and supporter engagement.

· Help develop and deliver our fundraising campaigns, including our annual match-funded December festive campaign.

· Work with the wider Development & Communications Team to create other compelling campaigns that grow supporter engagement and income, including initiatives for universities, schools, and faith groups.

Storytelling & Impact

· Transform data, monitoring and evaluation insights, and project outcomes into clear, engaging narratives for diverse audiences.

· Collaborate with programme teams to capture impact and integrate it into pitches and into donor reporting.

About the Role

This is a business-critical Partnerships Manager role, leading one of The Talent Foundry's longest-standing and most valuable corporate partnerships, worth c. £300,000 annually.

The role is firmly focused on senior relationship and account management, you will be a consummate project manager and hold responsibility for:

• Stewarding and growing a complex, multi-strand partnership
• Leading renewal conversations and strategic development

The partnership spans 6-7 programmes, with a strong emphasis on financial literacy outcomes, evaluation, and meaningful employee engagement through bespoke volunteering opportunities.

The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and high net worth individuals with the propensity to donate significant sums. There is huge scope to develop both income streams at Guts UK, as this is the first dedicated position covering these income streams.

With some fantastic corporate partnerships in place already, there is great potential to build on the existing foundations and leverage those corporate partnerships to secure more ranging from transactional right up to transformational.

The philanthropy function has green shoots to nurture and develop. This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to grow and shape this income stream, and demonstrate their personal impact on generating income, and providing donors with an incredible supporter experience.

Who are Guts UK looking for?

This role would suit an experienced, corporate and/or philanthropy fundraiser with well-developed relationship management skills. Someone who is excited by the opportunity of shaping, developing and elevating these important supporters for the charity.

Guts UK are open to applications from those looking to develop their expertise and will be fully supported, should they not have equal experience in corporate partnerships and philanthropy. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience across areas such as corporate prospecting, pitching and account management. 

Guts UK is a small charity with big ambition so a background that includes working within a smaller charity would be helpful for the candidate to have but isn't essential.

We’re seeking a dynamic individual who can lead our exciting portfolio of outdoor challenge events and help us take our fundraising to the next level.

The Youth Adventure Trust's outdoor challenge events are a vital source of funding for the charity, and the relationships we build with our participants and corporate partners are more important than ever. This is where you come in.

As our Challenge Events Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our exciting challenge events portfolio.You'll work on bespoke corporate team-building challenges, high-energy industry networking events like the Hike Bike Paddle for the sports and outdoor sector and the Housebuilders Challenge, and our popular open events like the Wiltshire 3 Peaks Challenge and the Somerset Cycle. 

Challenge events not only enable people to raise amazing sums for the charity, but are also a fantastic way to engage supporters with our work, giving them the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, embrace the outdoors and achieve things they never thought possible - similar to our work with the young people on our programmes.

The Challenge Events Manager role is a varied position which would be perfect for somebody who has event management experience. You will be responsible for the full event cycle, from the initial planning, participant recruitment and stewardship to on the day event delivery and post event follow ups. You will be somebody who can spot opportunities, take on a project and run with it. You’ll be an excellent communicator, happy to pick up the phone to chat to event participants, deliver pre-event webinars or create engaging participant emails. You’re self-motivated, well organised, able to multi-task, a strong administrator, a fantastic team player, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy being outdoors. You should also have some fundraising experience, ideally in a paid capacity but in a voluntary capacity would also be considered.

You'll work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager, who is highly experienced in delivering our challenge events, but needs time to develop new corporate partnerships which is why we have created this new role. You'll also line-manage our Events Fundraising Officer who plays a key support role on the events. You must live in or near the South West as there will be a semi-regular requirement to attend in person staff meetings, visit programmes and join event planning sessions.

About You

You’re a people-person, self-motivated and highly organised. You are as comfortable managing a budget and a CRM database as you are standing on a mountain side in your waterproofs! You’ll have:

• Event Expertise: A proven track record in delivering successful fundraising or challenge events.

• Fundraising Experience: You might be an existing fundraiser or somebody who has taken on fundraising activities in a voluntary capacity. You will need to be able to relate to the challenge participants and guide them on how to reach their fundraising targets.

• Agility: The ability to think on your feet and adapt plans dynamically when situations change on the ground.

• Leadership Skills: Experience managing staff or volunteers and the ability to motivate a team.

• A Passion for Adventure: A genuine love for the outdoors, comfortable in wellies and waterproofs with an understanding of 'the power of the outdoors'.

Our Second Home (OSH) is a youth movement for young people with refugee experience to build community, become leaders, and flourish in the place they now call home. Each year, thousands of displaced young people arrive in the UK facing isolation, disruption to education, and limited opportunities to belong. OSH exists to change that.

Our work begins with residential programmes, where young people form friendships, build confidence, and experience joy and belonging. From there, many go on to take part in our nationally certified Leadership Training Programme and our regular Youth Hubs in London and Bristol. With the right support, young people return as peer leaders themselves – shaping programmes, mentoring others, and helping to build a self-sustaining, youth-led movement.

We are now looking for a Communications & Content Producer to help bring this work to life. This role is about turning the energy, warmth and leadership that exists across OSH into compelling stories, images and short videos that deepen connection with supporters, recruit volunteers, and support fundraising and events.

The role (abridged - see attached job description)

The Communications & Content Producer is a freelance role, working 1.5 days per week, reporting to the CEO. You will be responsible for capturing and producing content from across OSH’s programmes – particularly youth hubs, leadership training days and residentials – and shaping it into consistent, values-aligned output across our digital channels.

This includes attending programmes to capture photos, short-form video and quotes; identifying moments that tell the story of OSH; and maintaining a simple, organised content library. You will lead delivery of a regular social media rhythm, with a particular focus on Instagram, including posts, reels and stories, as well as adapting content for other platforms where appropriate.

You will develop and run a small number of recurring content series, write clear and engaging captions in UK English, and design simple, on-brand graphics using tools such as Canva. The role also involves producing a monthly supporter email newsletter, keeping key website pages up to date, supporting fundraising pushes and events such as the Young Leaders’ Graduation Showcase, and helping amplify partners, funders and sector allies.

Alongside content creation, you will put in place light systems – a content calendar, simple co-creation processes for staff and volunteers, and basic analytics – to track what is working and refine output over time.

About You

You do not need a traditional communications background, but you should be excited by youth spaces, storytelling and social impact. You are proactive, organised and practical, with the confidence to work independently and make good use of limited hours.

You will have experience managing social media channels and creating content for an organisation, campaign or project. You are comfortable capturing and editing photos and short-form video on a smartphone, writing clearly and concisely in UK English, and adapting tone for different platforms including Instagram, email and LinkedIn. You care about quality, but you are not precious – you get content made.

Crucially, you are confident working in youth and community settings, committed to safeguarding and consent, and thoughtful about how young people are represented. You build trust easily, encourage others to contribute ideas and content, and understand the importance of protecting dignity as well as telling a strong story.

Experience working or volunteering in youth, refugee or grassroots community settings is highly valued. Alignment with OSH’s values – young people at the centre, acting with not for, leadership, and freedom and acceptance – is essential.
