Our client has an opportunity for a data driven individual to help ensure that they have systems, processes, and measurement tools to monitor and evaluate the impact of their mental health services. Our client is the city’s leading independent mental health charity and every day they use data to inform the decisions they take, ensuring they provide excellent care and support for people where and when they need it.

With strong Excel skills you will demonstrate a passion for analysing complex data and compiling reports for both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll act as a System Administrator for their CRM system and assist with the continual improvement of the organisation's database.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assisting the Performance & Evaluation Manager to build questionnaires and data collection tools within the organisation’s database, to ensure that the organisation can effectively monitor and evaluate the outcomes and value of its many different services.

· Support the development and delivery of training and awareness programmes throughout the organisation on data and our systems.

· Lead data cleaning and processing for monthly data submissions to the NHS Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS) and other regular reporting.

· Export and analyse data from our CRM database (VIEWS), regularly producing data visualisations and reports, working closely with service managers and partner organisations often within tight time scales.

About You:

To be successful, you will be highly numerate and confident working with quantitative data and will have experience of using monitoring and evaluation tools. Strong Excel skills are a must with the ability to convey data insights and training across the organisation.

About the Role

The Finance officer is responsible for vital financial functions, including recording all financial transactions and assigning income and expenditures to appropriate funds, projects, and cost centres, processing BACS payments and assisting with processing of month end schedules, among other duties. This role is integral to the overall administration of the charity.

The role will be to fully coordinate from inception working with Rural Housing Enablers, site acquisition and planning through to completion with the day-to-day project management of rural exception site housing delivery (noting, we do deliver some through selective Section 106 planning schemes with housing developers). Our typical land lead sites are around eight to twelve affordable homes, and may incorporate some open market housing to provide some necessary cross subsidy funding.

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record in working and successfully delivering affordable housing development and preferably rural housing. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work both collaboratively but also be an independent self-starter. The Opportunity

The Fundraising Manager will play a central role in managing and growing partnerships with key funders to ensure they are well stewarded, renewed and, where possible, developed into larger, multi-year relationships.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an operations professional who shares EJF’s commitment to environmental justice and is ready to take on real responsibility across a fast-growing global non-profit organisation.

As Operations Officer, you will play a hands-on role in keeping EJF's international operations running smoothly across 16 countries on four continents, with a particular focus on our five European offices.

Your remit will be broad. From ensuring offices function efficiently and IT systems operate safely, to providing HR support to line managers and coordinating across teams in multiple time zones, no two days will look the same. Over time, you will develop a working knowledge of the full operational landscape of an international NGO, building skills and experience across functions that few comparable roles can offer.

About the role

EJF is scaling up its global work, and in particular expanding our portfolio of training and support to partner organisations on the front lines of environmental and human rights issues across the Global South. The Finance Officer is one of several new roles being recruited to support this growth.

Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, the Finance Officer will be responsible for end-to- end financial processing, donor reporting and partner finance support across a portfolio of geographies and grants. The role works closely with colleagues across the world and gives broad, hands-on exposure to international project finance, multi-currency operations, donor compliance, audit and sub-grant management.

The role is offered on a full-time basis, although we are open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate. It will suit a part-qualified Accountant or fully-qualified AAT, or someone with equivalent experience, looking to develop their career in a fast-growing, high-impact international organisation working at the intersection of environmental protection and human rights.

Key responsibilities

Management accounts and reporting

• Contribute to the production of accurate and insightful monthly management accounts for use by senior leadership.
• Support project managers with project budgeting, forecasting, internal reporting and re-planning.
• Prepare donor and project reports in the format required by funders, within agreed reporting timetables, for review by budget holders, the Head of Finance and senior management.

Sub-grants and partner support

• Oversee sub-grant disbursements and review incoming partner finance reports, ensuring accuracy, eligible expenditure and correct allocation against budget lines.
• Provide ongoing support to sub-grantee partners and to non-finance EJF colleagues on financial systems, processes and donor compliance.

Transaction processing and controls

• Prepare and process payrolls.
• Process expenditure, ensuring adherence to internal financial controls, approval processes and project allocation.
• Process grant income.
• Process international payments and multi-currency transactions using online banking platforms.
• Reconcile foreign currency transactions and exchange rate adjustments.
• Process staff advance requests, allocate them onto expense cards and review the related expense claims.
• Prepare payment runs, ensuring adherence to approval limits and authorisation processes.
• Reconcile expense card balances and bank balances on a regular basis.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial controls across global operations.

Month-end, year-end and audit

• Support month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, accruals and review of financial data.
• Lead audit liaison on project audits within the portfolio.
• Assist with preparation for the annual organisational audit and with responses to audit queries.

Records and systems

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation using cloud-based storage.

Essential skills and experience

• Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), fully-qualified AAT, or a minimum of three years’ relevant finance experience.

• Day-to-day hands-on experience with Iplicit or a similar cloud-based accounting system.
