The Brand and Partnerships Marketing Manager will support the organisation in reaching even more deaf children and their families with compelling and exciting marketing and campaigns. With a refreshed brand in place, it's time to show how nothing holds deaf children back and anything is possible in memorable and impactful ways.

Core responsibilities within the role will include:

• Act as brand guardian to keep the organisation on track and aligned with new brand and values.
• Collaborate on exciting new brand partnerships including with strategic partners of the organisation
• Develop and support integrated marketing campaigns to support our work especially in the community

A hugely exciting new role within the Communications team at the charity, the postholder will work across media, external affairs and influencing to engage with key stakeholders, boost the charity's profile, and promote learning and adoption of the solutions the organisation funds. You will be responsible for sharing evidence and learning in order to influence the people who fund, adopt and commission mental health care and services, and will work closely with the CEO to increase engagement with policy work which the Maudsley Charity undertakes through it's work in coalitions.

Location: Hybrid role between home and London office, with two days per week in the Denmark Hill office

About the role

This is a core role within the organisation's influencing strategy, and your primary responsibilities will include:

External Affairs & Influencing:

• Develop and deliver influencing plans to promote adoption of effective mental health care initiatives being funded by the charity
• Develop productive relationships with key stakeholders (journalists, NHS trust leaders, ICBs, ICSs, VCSE orgs) to gather intelligence and shape strategy to inform the charity's positioning
• Lead the charity's thought leadership development providing strategic advice to senior leadership on political, NHS and mental health policy developments
• Strengthen the charity's role in mental health policy and advocacy coalitions, by contributing to collaborative advocacy, media and communications outputs
• Lead the charity's response to government mental health care consultations and calls for evidence
• Monitor funder sector trends and conversations, and actively seek out opportunities for the charity to strategically engage and influence by sharing learning from its grant making practice

Media management

• Develop and implement integrated external affairs campaigns that support the charity's influencing work
• Create persuasive materials, including press releases, op-eds, spokespeople briefings, comment pieces, and digital content and pitch to relevant outlets
• Maintain and grow relationships with journalists, broadcasters and sector media to secure relevant high-quality coverage of the charity's activities, grant holders and their projects
• Act as first point of contact for media enquiries, managing proactive and reactive press activity
• This role is expected to grow and develop and the postholder will be fully supported from across the organisation as the position evolves, within an organisation that offers a friendly, values led culture.

We would love to hear from individuals with the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrable track record of developing and implementing successful influencing strategies in the mental health sector
• Experience of stakeholder management within mental health care, including NHS Trust leaders, Integrated Care Boards, commissioners and senior clinicians, and with academics and researchers
• Strong experience in media relations, including briefing senior spokespeople, drafting press releases, media handling, and securing media coverage with a good understanding of the needs and expectations of different outlets and publications
• Keen understanding of the NHS, mental health policy landscape, and the related environment, key stakeholders and sector drivers
• Understanding of the key components and considerations of successful external affairs media and influencing
• Understanding of the sensitivities around mental illness, including working in an empathetic manner with people with lived experience
• Understanding of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles and a commitment to apply them in your work and as an organisation
• Influencing skills including confidence and credibility in working with stakeholders,
• Communication skills and the ability to produce clear and effective communications and the ability to confidently and accurately represent the organisation externally
• Written and editorial skills including the ability to craft narratives for different external audiences and communicate the charity's work in press releases, articles, policy briefs

Main Purpose of the Role

The Head of Partnerships and Networks provides senior leadership for EHCVS’s partnerships, networks, and income development. Reporting to the CEO, the post-holder strengthens the voice and connectivity of the local voluntary and community sector (VCS) and develops new, sustainable income for the organisation and the wider sector.

The role focuses on growing corporate funding and business partnerships, developing Hounslow Giving (the borough’s place-based giving scheme) in partnership with the Head of Volunteering, and encouraging collaboration and consortium bids across the VCS.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Funding and Income Development

• Lead the development of corporate funding, sponsorship, and business partnerships to generate sustainable income for EHCVS and the wider sector.

• Build relationships with local businesses, major employers (such as Heathrow), and corporate funders, developing clear cases for support.

• Identify corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community investment opportunities and help diversify income.

Developing Hounslow Giving (Place-Based Giving)

• Work with the Head of Volunteering to develop Hounslow Giving, the borough’s place-based giving scheme, as part of the London Giving network.

• Bring together business, philanthropic, public, and community partners to grow local giving and connect funds to local need.

• Support donation, fundraising, and volunteering routes that engage both individuals and businesses.

Partnerships, Networks and Consortium Development

• Coordinate and facilitate EHCVS networks and forums across both boroughs, encouraging partnerships and collaboration within the VCS.

• Develop consortium bids with VCS partners, brokering relationships to pursue joint funding opportunities.

• Represent EHCVS and the VCS at strategic boards and sector events, and maintain relationships with statutory partners (local authorities, NHS, Integrated Care Board).

Leadership and Team

• Provide senior leadership for partnerships, networks, and income development, contributing to the senior leadership team and deputising for the CEO as required.

• Line manages relevant staff, providing supervision and development support.

Monitoring, Reporting and Governance

• Capture engagement, income, and outcomes, and contribute to internal and funder reporting.

• Ensure activity complies with relevant policies (safeguarding, GDPR, equality and diversity) and with fundraising good practice.

Person Specification

Essential

• Senior experience of developing partnerships, networks, or income in the VCSE, public, or social enterprise sector.

• Proven track record of securing corporate funding, sponsorship, or business partnerships.

• Experience in developing consortium or partnership bids and brokering collaboration.

• Experience of, or strong understanding of, place-based giving, community foundations, or philanthropy.

We’re looking for a confident, skilled, and personable Digital Project Manager to help us deliver our ambitious roadmap of projects.

What you will do:

Some key responsibilities include:

• Lead digital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within time, cost, risk, and quality parameters.
• Manage project plans, budgets, and risks, addressing and escalating changes and impacts on timelines and budgets promptly.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and develop communication plans to keep them and the organisation up to date with project progress and performance.
• Coordinate the development and monitoring of project metrics, ensuring variance and performance are reported to relevant stakeholders.

This exciting new role provides an opportunity to work within a Whole Family Recovery Service as a Recovery Coordinator for the Family Support and Safeguarding Team (FSST).

At Change Grow Live we believe that whole family-based approaches to substance misuse support and recovery have the potential to have a greater impact on reducing harms and increasing resilience for individuals, families, and communities. Therefore, providing support to families is a real priority for us to ensure that our services are truly person centred and family focussed.

With this role you’ll be working as part of Family Support and Safegurarding team within Ashfield Children's Social Care. This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027

Working as part of the new multi-disciplinary safeguarding teams (FSST) alongside Children’s Services, Domestic Abuse services and Mental Health, the Recovery Coordinator will coordinate a package of support and care to the adult substance user, enabling them to improve safety and resilience, in relation to substance use and the associated safeguarding risks.

Responsibilities

About the role: 

• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary safeguarding team to provide appropriate co-ordination and interventions that help to reduce the impact of substance use. Types of interventions to include, engagement and assessment, time focussed whole family, group and 121 psychosocial based.

• Undertaking direct work with families and parents, utilising recognised evidence-based interventions that build resilience and enable positive changes to family functioning.

• Supporting the effective safeguarding of families through contribution to multi-agency plans, timely identification of risks, vulnerabilities and responding accordingly via appropriate assessment, safety planning and onward connection and referrals to the relevant services where required.

• To work closely with local Social Care Teams and other associated family support services

• To promote family members involvement to improve outcomes for children.

• To provide effective case co-ordination for all the family in support of the children’s Child Protection or Child in Need Plan.

• Active participation in agreed supervision and development meetings.

• Review ongoing care and support liaising closely with the full range of specialist workers across the multi-disciplinary team both within CGL Nottinghamshire and the Family Safeguarding Team ,

About you: 

• Experience of working with families with complex problems in one or more of the following fields: social work; youth offending; substance misuse; probation; health; family work; education; youth and community
• Ability to manage behaviors of distress in a calm and professional manner
• Knowledge of current legislation surrounding young people, families and safeguarding practice. Eg - the Adfam and Think Family reports
• Sound working knowledge of Child Protection
• Sensitivity in working with complex and diverse cultural family issues
• Experience of working with families and individuals where children have a Child Protection or Child in Need Plan in place.
• Experience of delivering training and groupwork
• Sound working knowledge of the impact of hidden harm, honor based violence, child sexual exploitation and FGM

Strategic Data Leadership

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The Head of Estates & Facilities is responsible for providing operational oversight of the Hospice estate, facilities management, health & safety, security and compliance functions across all Hospice and retail locations.

The postholder will ensure the organisation maintains full statutory compliance, delivers a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff and volunteers, and develops a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety and facilities management

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the Hospice Estates, Facilities and Health & Safety Strategy.
• Provide expert advice to the Director of Finance & Performance on estates, facilities and health & safety matters.
• Lead the development of a positive organisational health and safety culture.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Knowledge & Approach

• NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 H&S qualification).
• Proven experience in estates, facilities or maintenance environment
• Strong practical, hands-on maintenance skills
• Experience managing or coordinating maintenance activity
• Experience working with contractors
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance requirements, including correct use of PPE, COSHH, Manual Handling, Legionella, Risk Assessments etc
