Time & Talents is a lively, busy community centre in the heart of Rotherhithe, London SE16. Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 139 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with children and families’ programmes and a range of volunteering projects.
The Role
In this role you will:
- Lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of Time & Talents’ Community Programme and volunteering offer, ensuring activities are inclusive, responsive to local need and underpinned by strong safeguarding, participation and partnership working.
- Develop meaningful volunteering pathways, including corporate volunteering, embed community voice in programme design and evaluation, and contribute to organisational sustainability through effective budgeting, reporting and fundraising support.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Grants Manager to join our Fundraising team and play a key role in stewarding relationships with our institutional funders. You will manage a portfolio of trusts, foundations and statutory donors, ensuring excellent account management and delivering high-quality applications and reports that help secure and grow vital funding.
Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, campaigns and finance, you will identify opportunities to deepen partnerships with existing supporters while ensuring compliance, strong communication and long-term relationship building. Job Title: Fundraising Manager

Job purpose
· Forward-plan funding streams to ensure a smooth and regular flow of income that meets The Avenues’ budget (currently £1.2m p.a., much of which has been secured for the next 18 months).
· Develop existing and new relationships with funders to maximise immediate and long-term income for the organisation and its various projects.
· Write compelling proposals and applications that secure significant income from trusts and foundations, coordinating input from across The Avenues team.
· Research and identify new prospects from a diversity of sources with a view to securing medium and large grants for The Avenues.
Accountabilities and responsibilities
· Identify and develop opportunities from a range of trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies.
· Draft, submit and manage the progress of all funding applications for The Avenues’ priority projects (approximately 30-40 applications per year).
· Develop fundraising proposal budgets in collaboration with Programme and Finance colleagues, ensuring needs are accurately costed and aligned with donor requirements.
· Work with colleagues to develop new project ideas that fit within The Avenues’ organisational goals and within budgets that meet funders’ criteria.
· Handle the post-grant paperwork, notifying the team and updating our records.
· Develop and manage positive relationships with funders, including necessary communications with grants officers, potential major donors, corporate donors and community supporters.
· Manage the pipeline of applications and fundraising database; providing financial reporting and other management information to colleagues on a timely basis.
· Work with the Chief Executive, trustees and community volunteers to help organise our fundraising events (dinner-auction, party, quiz night, marathon). Assisting with the smooth-running of these events, including writing and producing communication materials.
· Write the quarterly email newsletter for our supporter mailing list.
· Manage and optimise the charity’s CRM system (Beacon), ensuring fundraising contact data is accurate, well maintained, and used effectively.
· Perform other duties as required by the Chief Executive to the overall direction and running of the charity and develop productive relationships with external stakeholders.
Experience and skills
· Excellent writing skills with the ability to write concise and creative bids.
· 3+ years’ proven track record in a fundraising position, with a focus on trusts/foundations and public sector income streams. (Or, you may equally have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment.)

We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and experienced manager to provide leadership of a variety of exciting and innovative environmental projects and improving EPIKS’ long-term sustainability through both effective delivery and securing future workstreams.
You will have a proven track record of programme and project management experience together with a keen understanding of nature conservation, active travel and access to greenspaces. You will be supported by volunteer non-exec directors and a skilled team of dedicated staff with an office base in Huddersfield, satellite projects in Kirklees and the south Pennines with opportunities for flexible working.

Background
At EPIKS we are passionate about finding local solutions to environmental problems that are integral to our concern for effective climate action. We work with a range of partners to improve the environment: promoting biodiversity, active travel and a sustainable economy to make Kirklees a better place to live and work. EPIKS is run by four volunteer Directors and a small, dedicated team of part time staff.
We are at an exciting phase of development, with new projects to deliver on improved access in and around the Colne and Upper Calder Valleys and sustainable transport. EPIKS has recently expanded our volunteering programme and community engagement activities. We have also established a firm foundation for our active travel projects and the Walk Wheel ride brand, increasing our partnership with Network Rail.
These run alongside continuing work on greenspaces in local nature parks, enhancing biodiversity, promoting environmental volunteering and delivering walking, cycling and wheeling activities – all of which involve collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
To achieve success in all these areas we need a Chief Executive to lead in developing a roadmap for our existing and future funded core projects. You will help co-ordinate work across the range of our projects and support initiatives to secure future funding.
In striving to improve our engagement with volunteers, supporters, funders and the wider public, we need an innovative, experienced communicator to lead on this critical part of our work.
The position involves working flexibly over 22.5 hours per week. There may be opportunity to extend the hours depending on funding success. The post will require some evening, weekend and bank holiday working.

What this role entails?
The Medical Sciences Divisional development team works collaboratively with colleagues across the Division and across the Development and Alumni Engagement team at the University of Oxford.
This is a key role within the team and the post holder will have the opportunity to work with donors and academics. Development at Oxford is well established and this role has the scope to work across a number of important and high-profile projects related to the medical sciences.
The post holder will manage a portfolio of more than 100 major gifts prospects. They will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of potential donors able to support projects in the Medical Sciences Division at Oxford, typically in the range of £100,000-£500,000 over time, alongside to supporting the fundraising activity of the Head of Development – Medical Sciences.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven fundraising experience in a complex organisation and direct involvement in securing major gifts at the £50,000 level and above
- Ability to identify new donor prospects and engage with potential donors to successfully acquire new gifts
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically about the relations between potential donors and fund-raising goals
- Ability to establish credibility, confidence and robust relationships with existing and prospective donors, and key stakeholders

About the role
As Senior Community Partnerships Manager, you will:
- Report to the Head of Partnerships and line manage three Community Partnerships Managers, ensuring plans are focused, targets/KPIs are set and met and ROI is prioritised
- Oversee key accounts worth circa £1m across the team, seeking opportunities to uplift/evolve, whilst delivering exceptional donor experience for SME, community group, and association partners
- Be the key account manager for a range of partnerships that have the potential for growth, are higher profile or have a wider geography than one patch alone
- Work closely with the Corporate Team to ensure smooth handover of partners with higher value potential or commercial complexity or in reverse for those that focus more on staff fundraising alone
- Network map and build relationships across key sectors, utilising Acorns senior leaders to open doors

- Collaborate with Retail, Care and other fundraising teams to maximise referrals and cross-team opportunities
About you
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience of growing income through regional community engagement, ideally within a charity setting
- Either line management or substantial coaching/mentoring experience
- Experience of working with community leaders
- Experience and evidence of first-class relationship management techniques and donor care
- Experience of organising events, managing volunteers, risk assessments and health and safety requirements
- Track record of cross-team working with examples of impact, ideally this will include collaborating with corporate partnerships teams

About the role:
The prospect research and pipeline management role will support high value fundraising across the Corporate, Trust and Community or Regional fundraising teams through prospect research, network mapping, lead qualification, and due diligence checks. This role will also manage the pipeline management process on our CRM ensuring the teams have access to dashboards tracking their donors across the stages of solicitation and be able to provide insight reports into how well we are moving prospects through the pipelines. Strategic leadership

Alongside this, the Senior Fundraising Manager will assess and determine which early opportunities for growth should be prioritised. - Use CRM data and financial information to track performance, analyse trends and adjust strategy as required.
Data & impact
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including ICO guidance, GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice.

· Support drawing up and negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery
· Work with stakeholders and our internal team to scope and develop exciting new opportunities

Partnerships and Networks
· Build and maintain a network of strategic key external contacts that can support Advantage Mentoring’s work. Stakeholders will be from private, public and third sector groups. Take an active role in representing Advantage Mentoring to appropriate Trusts and Foundations

About the Role

We are looking for someone who will enjoy working each day with young people and who will thrive in a frontline, community-based, fast-paced and rewarding role. You will be taking up a fixed-term contract as an Education Worker at our
centre in Southampton.

Contract: Full-time, fixed-term until July 2026

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.
