As a small organisation, we value people who can work confidently on their own initiative while collaborating closely with colleagues, freelancers and partners. This part-time role (3 days per week) is offered as a fixed-term contract over four years, with responsibilities evolving across the project lifecycle — from strategy and planning in the early stages to website redevelopment, major public programmes and legacy outputs in later phases. The Website & Communications Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to support clear communication, shared understanding and joined-up audience engagement. Experience supporting or overseeing freelancers such as PR consultants, graphic designers, photographers, videographers etc or external partners is helpful, alongside a collaborative approach and good organisational skills. We are particularly interested in candidates who bring transferable skills from other sectors, along with curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn. You should be motivated by working in a small, purpose-driven team and be committed to inclusive, accessible communication. This role supports a multi-year heritage project focused on the histories and practices of Black and Global Majority artists. We particularly welcome applicants with lived experience and/or a strong interest in these areas, and a commitment to inclusive, anti-racist and accessible communication practices. We know that no one will meet every requirement. If you meet most of the criteria and feel excited by the role, we encourage you to apply

What if your next archive didn't just preserve history—but helped shape the future?
At Union Chapel, our extraordinary archive sits at the heart of a place where heritage, music, faith and social justice come together. From 200 years of Nonconformist history to iconic gig posters and stories of local people striving for a better world, our collections tell the story of a community that continues to inspire change.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Archivist to lead the next chapter of this remarkable collection. Based in our purpose-built archive store and Reading Room, you'll care for and develop the archive, support volunteers, welcome researchers and visitors, create engaging exhibitions and interpretation, and build partnerships that ensure the collection continues to thrive.
This is an opportunity to combine professional archive practice with public engagement, creativity and community impact in one of London's most distinctive cultural organisations.
If you're a qualified archivist with experience in collections management, digital preservation and volunteer engagement—and you're passionate about making heritage accessible to everyone—we'd love to hear from you and discover how you could help bring Union Chapel's stories to life.
We’re Together Active, a charity working across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to make it easier for people to be active in ways that fit their lives.
We focus on the systems that shape who gets included and who doesn’t. That means looking beyond individual behaviours to understand how policy, funding, culture and place influence people’s choices, freedoms and access to movement.
Safeguarding is fundamental to that work. It isn't just about policies or responding when something goes wrong. It's about creating a culture where people's welfare is everyone's responsibility, where concerns are acted upon with care and confidence, and where trust underpins everything we do.
We're looking for someone who shares those values. Someone who combines sound judgement with empathy, who is confident supporting colleagues and partners through complex situations, and who sees safeguarding not as a separate function, but as an essential part of creating positive experiences for everyone who engages with our work.
If you feel excited by the opportunity to help shape a culture where people feel safe, supported and able to thrive, we'd be delighted to receive your application.
We exist to design out inactivity across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
