MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES
BENEFICIARIES:
· Be the first point of reference for beneficiary enquires and queries regarding the charity application process.
· Support the beneficiary manager in all aspects of the application process for the charity, to ensure a consistent high level of service delivery and administration.
· Ensure accurately maintained beneficiary records in accordance with GDPR and data protection guidelines.
FUNDRAISING:
· Provide administrative support to the events and fundraising manager as required
· Take ownership of the charity supporter / donor thank you process, in conjunction with the events and fundraising manager.
· Support on the wider charity events, such as the Bright Star Ball, Boparan Golf and Football Tournament.
SOCIAL MEDIA / WEBSITE UPDATES:
· In conjunction with the Charity Director, develop a social media / website calendar. Ensuring consistent year-round messaging for the charity supporters.
ADMINISTRATION:
· Oversee the charity office space, ensuring everything is kept in a tidy and good order for the wider team.
OTHER DUTIES:
· Undertake other reasonably requested duties under the direction of the Charity Director.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:
· Previous charity experience desirable.
· Ability to work independently but also as part of a highly motivated team.

About the Role
We’re looking to recruit a Research Manager to support the delivery of our strategic research portfolio. This role will involve managing and delivering research design, data collection, analysis and reporting, while working collaboratively with colleagues across Homeless Link, member organisations, academics, government officials, partners and people with lived experience.
The successful candidate will be an excellent project manager with strong quantitative research skills. They will have communication and relationship building skills, understanding of interpreting research findings in wider policy contexts, and of making strategic recommendations for national and local policy and decision makers. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer who will help us give supporters an excellent experience, maintain accurate fundraising records and develop opportunities for people and communities to get involved in our work. This is an exciting role which will give the right person the opportunity to work across a variety of fundraising activities and disciplines.
The relationships built and fundraising activity enabled through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. An exciting opportunity for a Head of Health Information and Support has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF).
World Cancer Research Fund champions the latest and most authoritative scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity, so that we can empower people to make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.
We are seeking an inspiring, strategic and collaborative leader to shape and deliver WCRF’s Health Information and Support strategy across three core audiences: the general public, health professionals and cancer survivors. The team turns WCRF’s scientific evidence on cancer prevention and survival into practical, accessible information, training and support based on our Cancer Prevention Recommendations. The postholder will lead and develop the team, ensuring its work is innovative, evidence-based, high quality and demonstrably effective.
Working across Science, Policy, Fundraising, Communications and Engagement, you will create new ways to share our health information, improve existing resources and services, and build impactful partnerships. You will ensure that public and patient insight shapes our work from cancer prevention to survivorship, strengthen programmes for health professionals and make effective use of digital channels. Responsibilities include contributing to our Medical Education programme, participating in working and steering groups and speaking at national conferences, networking at events, engaging corporate audiences and acting as a spokesperson in broadcast and print media. Ultimately, you will help establish WCRF as the go-to source of information and support on the links between cancer, nutrition and lifestyle.

You will bring substantial experience in areas such as health information or education, working with healthcare professionals, UK health policy, health science or research, or marketing health information and services. We are seeking an experienced Academic Quality and Conduct Officer to join our Registry team and oversee the processes for the organisation in relation to academic quality and standards and student conduct, complaints and appeals. The postholder will help ensure that academic regulations, quality assurance processes, committee operations and student casework procedures are implemented consistently, fairly and effectively, in line with institutional policy, sector expectations and regulatory requirements.
This role will focus both on the monitoring of academic quality and standards to ensure they meet sector standards (e.g. the UK Quality Code and OfS sector recognised standards) and ensuring that academic casework and regulations are appropriately administered and handled in line with best practice through investigating, tracking and managing case work for academic appeals, complaints, fitness to practise and other academic policies and procedures. Ensuring that best practice guidance from the Office of the Independent Adjudicator (OIA) is adhered to when managing casework. The Suzy Lamplugh Trust is seeking a Head of Operations to provide strategic leadership across our services, ensuring they are safe, effective, compliant, and sustainable.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing service performance, infrastructure, and delivery at an organisational level. You will play a key role in shaping strategy, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring our services meet the needs of victims and funders alike.
About the role
You will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all services, ensuring high-quality and compliant delivery
- Lead on organisational performance, including KPIs, quality standards, and reporting frameworks

- Strong experience of performance management, KPIs, and quality assurance frameworks

Therapeutic Management

To manage and support a staff team, including the Head of Active Recovery, a Counselling Lead, Nexus Counselling Manager, a Family Support Group Facilitator, and administrators.

To oversee all of the charity’s therapeutic services and ensure that efficient and high-quality services are delivered.

To be the charity’s Designated Safeguarding Lead to respond effectively and efficiently to safeguarding concerns.

To ensure staff are sufficiently trained in adult and child safeguarding and that training records are kept up-to-date.

To oversee the charity’s pre-trial therapy processes and be a point of contact for the police.

To develop and improve the charity’s therapeutic services, including any expansion of the services.

To manage therapeutic recruitment, inductions and training.

To hold monthly staff meetings and service team meetings when needed.

To attend monthly one-to-one clinical supervision with a supervisor approved by the Southmead Project. (Supervision is a requirement of this charity as members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

To work to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical guidelines.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with solid experience working within digital marketing with a particular focus on managing paid campaigns across Google and Meta and supporting on or developing supporter journeys to join an inspirational charity that works tirelessly to end street homelessness.
Core responsibilities within the role will include:
- Coordinate the delivery and optimisation of paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Meta and Google to engage and retain supporters in-line with fundraising objectives
- Deliver paid digital marketing activity aimed at raising brand awareness, introducing new audiences to The Passage and strengthening understanding of our work and impact
- Support campaign testing and learning by trialling audiences, creative and messaging and reporting on results
- Coordinate the development and improvement of supporter journeys across key digital touchpoints, including email, website journeys, campaign landing pages, sign-up flows and donation journeys, ensuring alignment and integration with relevant internal teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience
- Identify areas for improvement within existing journeys and support the implementation of agreed changes.
- Continually review and improve the implementation of performance tracking, identifying practical improvements and supporting agreed changes to enhance effectiveness
- Monitor and collate performance data from digital platforms, analytics tools such as GA4 and CRM reports
- Produce regular performance summaries and contribute insights to inform future activity
- Support a test-and-learn approach by capturing learning and sharing it with colleagues in practical, accessible ways.
- Support the planning, creation and scheduling of email campaigns and automated supporter journeys
- Use segmentation and basic personalisation to improve relevance and engagement
We'd love to hear from individuals with the following skills and experience:
- Experience working in a digital marketing, digital fundraising or supporter engagement role
- Experience supporting or coordinating paid digital advertising campaigns including Knowledge of digital acquisition principles and paid advertising platforms such as Meta and Google
- Experience contributing to the development or improvement of digital supporter or customer journeys
- Experience supporting email marketing activity, including segmentation and scheduling, with knowledge of email marketing tools and CRM systems
- Experience supporting the implementation or use of digital tracking, analytics or measurement tools (e.g. GA4, platform pixels) to monitor campaign or journey performance
- Experience working with performance data and basic analytics; as well as an understanding of digital analytics and performance measurement
- Experience testing and optimising digital content, campaigns or journeys, and an understanding of how insight and testing can be used to improve digital outcomes
Experience of working in a charity setting or similar is desired but not essential.
