Legacy giving plays a vital role in ensuring lasting change for people living with sight loss. The Legacy Giving Manager will help deepen supporters’ connection to our mission to Save Sight. Change Lives.

Reporting to the Head of Supporter Development, you will lead the development and delivery of the legacy and in-memory giving strategy, delivering thoughtful, inspiring campaigns that celebrate the impact of legacy and in-memory giving. You’ll combine creative storytelling with data-driven insight to nurture meaningful supporter journeys, ensuring everyone who chooses to remember the charity in their will or in tribute to a loved one feels valued, respected, and part of something truly transformative.

Role Responsibilities

Strategy Development

• Develop and deliver an ambitious legacy and in-memory giving strategy and operational plan, driving sustainable income growth and achieving KPIs.
• Develop and implement associated objectives, workplans and KPIs to track progress.
• Work closely with stakeholders, to curate and implement compelling legacy marketing plans to promote awareness of gifts in wills and recruit new pledgers.

Management of Legacy Programme

• Responsible for ensuring legacy programme meets annual targets, with appropriate stretch targets in place.
• Work collaboratively across all Income streams, Communications and Impact to drive growth in the identification and cultivation of new legacy pledgers.
• Organise legacy events to support cultivation and stewardship of legacy givers.
• Work with Retail to embed legacy messaging in our charity shops and use in‑store activity to grow awareness and legacy leads.
• Provide exceptional stewardship of legacy pledgers individually and collectively, through the development and implementation of a legacy stewardship programme.
• Sensitively and expertly co-ordinate with the legacy administration function (which is outsourced), including regular communication with our professional legacy advisor, exploring and initiating stewardship and impact reporting activities.
• Collaborate on and personally take steps to maximise existing initiatives such as Gifts in Will month and identify new opportunities to market legacies and grow pledgers.
• Lead on developing and leading initiatives to improve awareness of legacies amongst charity staff, volunteers, charity shop customers and the Board.
• Collaborate with the Individual Giving Managers to identify and maximise legacy marketing opportunities through existing and new activities. 
• Take personal and collective responsibility for ensuring legacy fundraising is conducted in a legal and ethical manner in line with Charity Commission guidance, and other regulators as appropriate.
•  Advise and effectively manage legacy income targets and expenditure budgets, including reforecasting and target setting.
• Identify and develop strategic opportunities across fundraising, championing new initiatives and ways of working as necessary.

Person specification

ESSENTIAL

• Proven experience and knowledge of legacy giving, including channels for direct marketing to drive legacy giving.
• Experience of developing and producing legacy marketing and stewardship materials.
• Knowledge of key trends affecting legacy fundraising and able to apply insights to own work.
• Experience of using a fundraising database/CRM for effective analysis of legacy marketing campaigns and trend giving patterns.
• Strong understanding of donor stewardship and the motivations behind legacy giving.
• Strong organisational planning and project management skills.
• Proven skills and aptitudes to complete complicated procedures.
• Demonstrable analytical skills and highly numerate with experience of keeping and monitoring financial & budgeting reports.

About you:
You’ll have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and experience configuring and optimising CRM systems. The Philanthropy Manager is an established, donor-facing role, focused on building and managing a robust portfolio of major donors through excellent relationship management and strategic pipeline development. You will take ownership of your own donor portfolio, developing tailored cultivation and stewardship plans, converting transactional supporters into long-term partners, and delivering sustainable income growth. Reporting to and working closely with the Philanthropy Lead, and collaborating with the Data & Insights Manager and Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will play a central role in strengthening War Child’s core major donor programme and embedding a more data-led, strategic approach to philanthropy.

As Philanthropy Manager, you will:

• Manage and grow a personal portfolio of major donors through full-cycle relationship management, including regular face-to-face meetings with donors and prospects
• Identify, cultivate and steward prospects to secure five-figure gifts and long-term support
• Convert event-based and transactional supporters into deeper, strategic donor relationships
• Develop and deliver tailored stewardship plans, reports and donor communications

• Experience writing high-quality donor materials, including reports and proposals
• Analytical and methodical approach, with experience using data to inform fundraising decisions

• Confident user of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce

Desirable:

• International development or humanitarian sector experience

The Impact and Data Analyst is a new role, supporting the Board in exercising effective oversight of good governance, impact and DEI across the Operating Companies.  The focus of the role is to review, synthesise and interpret information and evidence provided by the Operating Companies and other relevant sources, to support Board-level assurance, insight and decision-making. 

The successful candidate will have sufficient technical expertise to assess the quality and credibility of data and evidence, and to support proportionate analysis or synthesis where this adds value to Board oversight. Other requirements of the role include the sound understanding of governance, impact or DEI related concepts, proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, NVivo), to undertake analysis and develop outputs that support synthesis and Board-level insight, and to assess the robustness, reliability and limitations of evidence provided.  Experience within a non-profit or impact led environment would be a bonus.

We are looking for a warm, highly organised, efficient and compassionate administrator to support our service team. This is a pivotal role, helping us implement and embed a new CRM system, keeping data accurate and usable, ensuring our admin systems and workflows run smoothly, effectively and safely.

The role involves some direct contact with women we support (mainly by email and phone), so you must be able to communicate sensitively, calmly and professionally with women who may have experienced trauma.

Role Description

Given the part-time nature of the role, priorities wi l be agreed weekly with the Service Manager. Core tasks revolve around CRM/data quality and referral administration. Other duties wi l be delivered by agreement and as capacity alows, so the role remains sustainable and the “must-do” work is completed reliably.

Key Responsibilities

CRM implementation, data quality, workflows and reporting

• Phase focus (first 6 months): Prioritise supporting the implementation and embedding of Cimplify CRM system, including data clean-up and migration, establishing clear ways of working, templates and workflows, as well as supporting the team to use the system consistently and confidently.
• Act as a day-to-day CRM and data champion, supporting staff with basic questions and liaising with the CRM supplier as needed.
• Support data migration and clean-up from spreadsheets and other systems into the CRM, checking accuracy, removing duplication and improving consistency.
• Maintain strong ongoing data quality and housekeeping (e.g. naming conventions, minimum data standards, duplicates, retention/archiving, configuration items, managing users).
• Help design and maintain efficient workflows and light-touch automations (e.g. referral tracking steps, reminders, task prompts, fo low-ups), reducing manual admin and improving consistency.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting views for different audiences (service team, CEO, trustees, funders) ensuring data is kept up to date and usable.
• Support the regular flow of insight into team meetings and contribute data/metrics for funder and annual reports in colaboration with the Service Manager, fundraisers and the CEO.

Referrals and service administration (trauma-informed)

• Provide practical programme admin support to the service team, as and when possible.
• Monitor shared inboxes, triaging messages, forwarding appropriately and supporting timely, sensitive responses and follow-up.
• Track referrals and service workflows: scheduling calls/meetings, sending emails, using templates and maintaining accurate records.
• Keep mailing lists up to date (including referrer communications where relevant) and send programme updates as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care, following data protection and safeguarding procedures

Systems, documents and office administration

• Maintain clear filing and information systems (digital and paper), ensuring documents are easy to find and consistently stored.
• Support upkeep of key internal documents and templates (e.g. guidance notes, handbooks, simple policy documents), keeping versions tidy and up to date in colaboration with the Service Manager.
• Arrange meetings and room bookings; take minutes and maintain simple action trackers.
• Order and maintain office and programme supplies, keeping relevant inventories.
• Liaise with IT support regarding wi-fi, hardware or printer issues.
• Support the planning and administration of events (e.g. referrer events/open events/fundraising activities) as and when possible.

Personal Specification

Essential experience and skills

• Experience in an administrative role, carrying out a variety of administrative and general office duties.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills; able to maintain reliable records and systems with a focus on efficiency, quality and accuracy.
• Confident using digital tools (e.g. email, online documents), databases/CRMs/case management systems and AI tools (or confident in learning quickly).
• Strong understanding of confidentiality, data protection and handling sensitive information professionally (both in general and when using AI).
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively (verbally and in writing) with a range of stakeholders.
• Confident working with processes and workflows; able to spot opportunities to streamline, standardise and reduce manual admin.

Main Objectives

· To oversee the smooth running of the Law Centre

· To ensure we have the right systems in place to support staff to work efficiently.  

· To identify opportunities to use tech to support our mission. 

· To lead on data, supporting us to tell our clients’ stories and to demonstrate the transformative nature of our work.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Coordination

• Oversee the Law Centre’s IT systems to ensure they are secure, efficient, and meet the organisation's needs.
• Manage and develop the Law Centre's case management system to ensure it supports the effective delivery of services and reporting requirements.
• Liaise with external IT providers to coordinate maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and implement opportunities for digital transformation and improved operational efficiency.
• Complete the annual Cyber Essentials return, ensuring that the organisation maintains the highest level of data security.

2. Systems

· Lead on our paperless working processes

About the role

As our Head of Performance Insight and Planning, you will lead the organisation’s approach to business planning, performance, and insight—bringing clarity, alignment and accountability across St Mungo’s. You will translate complex data into clear, actionable intelligence for teams, senior leaders, the Executive and Board, ensuring that strategy, budgets and delivery stay tightly connected.
