Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and dedicated Community Outreach Worker to join our experienced team, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

This is a varied and rewarding role, providing information, advice, guidance and practical support to individuals who may be facing significant health, social and emotional challenges following a brain injury. You will help people to identify appropriate support and work towards greater independence, confidence and wellbeing.

You will work closely with individuals, their families and carers, as well as a wide range of health, social care, public and voluntary sector organisations, helping to ensure people receive the right support at the right time.

No two days will be the same. The role involves working independently in the community and travelling throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, so flexibility and the ability to organise and manage your own workload are essential.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a person-centred approach and the confidence to work with people in sometimes complex or sensitive circumstances.

If you are motivated by helping people rebuild their lives following brain injury and would like to be part of a supportive and committed team, we would love to hear from you.
