JOB PURPOSE
To assist the Programmes & Funding Manager in coordinating the day-to-day delivery of AdviceUK's funded programmes. The role will keep projects running smoothly, maintain accurate monitoring data, and be a reliable first point of contact for members and delivery partners. The Programmes & Funding Officer will also assist in maintaining stakeholder relationships and ensuring that AdviceUK members have the practical support needed to access and sustain advice services.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Programme & Project Support
·Assist the Programmes & Funding Manager in the delivery of AdviceUK's funded programmes and contribute to their design and development where required.
·Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of funded projects, keeping track of timelines, milestones and actions in line with agreed project plans.
·Support the coordination of AdviceUK staff and external associates/trainers involved in programme delivery.
·Maintain project governance processes and practical workflows to ensure funder requirements are met.
2.Development & Funding Support
·Conduct research on potential funders and commissioners at local and national levels to identify new opportunities.
·Provide administrative support during the drafting of funding bids, tenders, and proposals.
3.Relationship Management
·Liaise with members, stakeholders and partners to maintain positive working relationships.
·Support the Manager in organising meetings and events with key stakeholders in the advice sector.
·Ensure AdviceUK’s vision and values are reflected in all external communications and interactions.
4.Monitoring, Data & Evidence
·Maintain and update CRMs and other reporting tools to ensure accurate programme progress tracking.
·Collate monitoring data and project evaluations to help demonstrate performance against KPIs.
·Assist in the preparation of financial and non-financial reports for funders and stakeholders.
·Help identify and share impact studies and good practice case studies from projects with the wider membership and sector.
5.General Responsibilities
·Ensure you effectively communicate AdviceUK’s vision, mission and objectives to staff, members and external stakeholders.

THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organised, agile and structured Senior Programmes Manager to lead the operational planning, project management and execution of our flagship educational programmes. In this role, you will be the operational engine behind multiple cross-departmental projects, with a focus on meeting the needs of our global teachers and students, as well as funders.
In this fixed-term role you will work closely with our educational content leads, designers and external stakeholders to ensure our high-impact classroom resources and live events are delivered seamlessly, on time and to the highest standard. Rather than drafting the pedagogy yourself, you will manage the project lifecycles, coordinate workflow across internal and external teams and optimise the systems that allow our world-class educational programmes to reach over 1 million young people globally.

We're looking for a friendly, proactive Advice Caseworker (Outreach Specialist) to join our high performing Advice Service.
This is a unique role combining student advice and outreach. You'll provide one-to-one advice to students on academic matters, while also developing and delivering engaging outreach activities that help students understand the support available to them.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident communicating with a wide range of audiences, and is passionate about improving the student experience. You'll be equally happy supporting students in appointments as you are delivering workshops, attending events and building relationships across the University.

What you would be doing
You wil provide confidential, impartial advice and guidance to students on academic regulations and procedures, helping them understand their options and navigate challenging situations. Through appointments, meetings and written correspondence, you will support students in resolving issues while maintaining accurate case records and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
Working closely with College departments and external organisations, you will help students access the support they need and contribute to identifying trends and emerging issues affecting the student experience. Your insights will help inform the Union's advocacy work and support positive change across the University.
Alongside your advice responsibilities, you will develop and deliver a programme of outreach activities designed to raise awareness of the Advice Service and wider Union initiatives. This will include promoting the service at Welcome events, delivering presentations, maintaining a visible presence across campuses and building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure students can easily access support.
You will also measure the impact of outreach and engagement activities, using data and feedback to continually improve the programme. In addition, you will contribute to training students, colleagues and elected officers, participate in relevant meetings and working groups, and support the Union's strategic commitment to student wellbeing, engagement and empowerment.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive individual who is excited about supporting students and helping people navigate challenging situations. You will have experience providing advice, guidance or one-to-one support through appointments, meetings, calls or similar settings, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and produce clear written communications, while demonstrating a strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
You will also be confident engaging with a wide range of audiences and promoting services through presentations, events or other outreach activities. Experience of encouraging participation, building relationships and delivering impactful engagement initiatives will be valuable, as will an understanding of the issues affecting students and young people. Above all, you will be someone who enjoys working collaboratively and takes a student-centred approach to their work.

About Woman's Trust
The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. Woman’s Trust is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. About the role
The Finance & Operations Officer provides high-quality finance, operational and organisational support to ensure the effective day-to-day running of Woman's Trust. Working across both Finance and Operations, the postholder will maintain accurate financial records, coordinate operational systems and provide administrative support that enables colleagues to deliver high-quality services to women affected by domestic abuse.
