Events & Community Fundraising Manager
We are looking for an Events and Community Fundraising Manager, who will be responsible for growing income, supporter participation and long-term engagement across our events and community fundraising programmes. You will manage and develop our existing portfolio while identifying new and innovative opportunities for sustainable growth. This is a hands-on, strategic and creative role. You will be expected to take ownership, develop new ideas, use data and insight to inform decisions, and turn opportunities into practical fundraising activity.
You will join a small and ambitious fundraising team with an established portfolio of around 30 events and a range of community fundraising activities and partnerships, generating approximately £200,000 a year. You will have the opportunity to build on this foundation, developing new fundraising products, audiences and partnerships and improving the supporter experience.
We're hoping to find an experienced events and community fundraiser who can take the lead on their own portfolio, build strong relationships and enjoys working collaboratively in a small, fast-paced charity.
Location
We have offices in London and Huddersfield, both of which are easily accessible by public transport or road. We support hybrid working but attendance in the chosen office is required for a minimum of 1 day per week.

Job Title: Partnership Events Coordinator (Inspiring the Future)
Reports to: Head of Partnership Delivery
Location: Quantum House, 22 – 24 Red Lion Court, Fleet Street, EC4A 3AB. The role is open to hybrid working but the candidate would be expected to be in the office one day per week
Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity to take on the role of Partnership Events Coordinator for Education and Employers on the internationally recognised Inspiring the Future programme. The Charity aims to ensure that all young people have the inspiration, motivation, knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to help them achieve their potential.
This key post is part of the Partnerships Team with responsibility for supporting the team to deliver various showcase virtual and face-to-face events and activities involving a diverse range of volunteers from the world of work. Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Partnership Delivery and working closely with colleagues in the Partnerships Team, the Partnership Events Coordinator is responsible for working closely with volunteers and school staff to support successful delivery of interactive activities aimed at schools and young people under key funded projects for the charity’s Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes. These programmes leverage technology to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of children and young people by connecting them to a huge range of volunteers from the world of work via career related learning activities.
The Partnerships team are responsible for relationship management of the key corporate and charity partners for the charity’s Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes. Key Accountabilities:

Enquiries management and administrative support across the programme team
- Providing administrative support across the team, including record-keeping, responding to incoming enquiries, data entry, meeting minute-taking, scheduling, event coordination, etc

- Setting up virtual and face-to-face activities including school liaison, securing volunteers, organising events via the Inspiring the Future system and hosting on tech platforms (Zoom, MS Teams etc)
- Supporting the collection of feedback and data after each event to measure impact
- Managing the enquiries inbox and/or switchboard phone number, responding to enquiries from schools and volunteers about the charity’s work and programmes and how to sign up
Delivery
- Recruiting and engaging schools according to the geographic or sector focus of a funded partnership
- Supporting the engagement of employers and volunteers in special activities within funded projects.
- Facilitating interactive virtual and face to face activities to connect pupils with volunteers through themed sessions, Q&A or job guessing-game format.
- Contributing to the successful delivery of a funded project with the ERA Foundation, supporting the wider team to plan, coordinate and deliver activities including volunteer recruitment, development of resources, and outreach and engagement with schools and teachers.
- Supporting and co-hosting teacher training sessions, staff meetings and info webinars to promote Inspiring the Future and encourage engagement and independent usage of the platform.

The Job
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, this role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. This vital role within the Landmark Trust’s fundraising team focuses on delivering excellent supporter engagement across the Landmark Friends, Lundy Friends and Marisco Club supporter schemes. You will manage the day-to-day administration of these groups with the highest standards of supporter care and deliver a programme of small events and communications to engage and retain these supporters. Working closely with the Development Manager (Patrons) and other colleagues in Development, you will also support the delivery of events for the Landmark Patrons, and other supporters as needed.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in giving high-quality customer service, with strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail. You will be comfortable speaking to supporters on the phone and at in-person at events, drafting personalised letters and emails, and managing various administrative tasks. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporter engagement, stewardship and recruitment
- Deliver excellent supporter care, responding to enquiries, welcoming new Friends and Lundy supporters and building relationships to ensure that all supporters feel valued and appreciated, and to grow and retain the Landmark and Lundy supporter base.
- Support donor stewardship activities, including drafting timely thank-you communications, responding to email and telephone enquiries, assisting with the production of regular newsletters, and impact stories.

- Support the Development Manager (Patrons) with the delivery of the Patrons event programme.
- Work within the wider Development team to assist with the planning and delivery of other supporter events, as required e.g. during the fundraising phase of a project.
- Manage event logistics including invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, internal safety and briefing materials and liaising with venues.
- Represent the Landmark Trust, with other members of the Development team, at events.
Data management and administration
- Maintain accurate supporter records within the CRM system, ensuring that data held is accurate, up to date and in line with current best practice in the sector.

Communications
- Support the creation of engaging content for all supporter schemes across email, digital, and print channels.

About the Role
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, you will build and strengthen relationships with major donors, prospective supporters and influential advocates, developing engagement opportunities that inspire long-term giving.
You will lead the planning and delivery of a programme of high-quality fundraising and cultivation events, from intimate donor gatherings to major campaign launches and prestigious VIP occasions. Sporting Events Administrator
The Sporting Events Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals taking on sporting challenges and effectively managing relationships to maximise income.
As Sporting Events Administrator,you will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. You will work closely with the Sporting Event Managers (SEM) and Sporting Event Officers (SEO) to drive the continued growth of the charity’s sporting event fundraising income. Key Responsibilities:
· Be the first point of contact for all Sporting Event fundraisers, providing excellent customer service, acknowledging support and increasing long-term loyalty.

As Mass Participation Event Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the programme while driving continued growth in income, participation and supporter engagement. Alongside this overall responsibility, you will have direct ownership of your own area of the portfolio, including the Great North Run, Berlin Marathon, Chicago Marathon, Cape Town Marathon and our wider challenges programme. This is a senior, hands-on role. You will be expected to lead the development of the overall programme while remaining directly involved in the day-to-day delivery of your own events.
